Rare~19thC Webb Mt Washington Pairpoint Enamel Laydown Perfume Scent bottle

Which I am sure both collectors and bidders will like very much.the way a Real Auction should be. This week we have this Antique. Late 19th Century"Lay down Cresent" scent bottle. Extremely rare and magnificent piece. The glass is done in a rare green to clear with a satin finish. It is beautifully and skillfully hand painted in enamels and has a swirling hand cut ridge swirling around the piece. The lid is unmarked but is done with a nice repousse' floral and scroll motif. The dauber is glass and in perfect condition. It sits inside the lid in a wooden form. I have not cleaned the piece and there is a slight bit of amber perfume that is very thick(it is truly a very small amount) I have not cleaned ... moreit simply because I think it is orignal perfume from the 1800's and is devine. It would be a shame if I was the only one who after all of these years was to enjoy its scent. I can imagine what this piece would look like holding amber perfume, shading from the green glass and a rich amber color to clear. It is in excellent condition enamel work is excellent, the lid and dauber. It is also free if chips, fleabites, cracks or repairs. It measures 4 1/2" long. We purchased this from a woman whos grand mother puchased it she said it was either Webb or Pairpoint but her grandmother purchased it herself and it has been displayed in a cabinet by her daugher and grandaughter(the grandaughter is now in her early 80's) We do not know the exact value of the piece so we are putting this up for a buy it now with best offer. Unusually large. Antique, 19thc cut glass laydown perfume/scent bottle. Brass lid. Measures 6 3/4” long, shoulders are roughly 1 1/4” across. I purchased it several years ago in an late 19thC- early 19thC house, stayed in 1 family all those years! I bought several from the estate, the mixed group was rock crystal and cut glass. I believe this is cut glass. Condition- excellent. Lid has a slight dent in it, hinge is excellent with no repairs. I didn’t find any chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some old, dried perfume inside. I didn’t try to clean it. Glass doesn’t look sick, it is clear. cents. They measure on the inside across 4. outside edges roughly 4 1/2. Beautiful double ended. Laydown Antique Victorian scent bottle of cobalt blue glass with sterling silver engraved metal end caps. The bottle is divided at the midpoint to form two separate scent vials. One end has a cap that opens with a button and hinge, while the other has a screw cap of similar appearance. No internal stopper. Size: 5" length and is in very good antique condition with only a slight dent on one of the caps. One end is stamped 1912 the opposite end is monogrammed AEG. Check out my!
