This Venetian art glass perfume bottle is vintage but was never used to hold perfume. It is 3-1/2" tall without the stopper. 5" tall with it and 3" wide. It is in very good condition with only a small black speck on the stopper. The tip of the stopper also appears to have been chipped off but in a smooth fashion. Also, the stopper does not fit tightly in the bottle and may not be the original although it does match in color. A very fine 19th C. Venetian Murano Portrait Cane Glass Perfume/Scent Bottle. The portrait cane features a king or nobelman. The bottle is oval in form and is 3" long from the gilt metal cap and cut blue glass stone to the base. And 1-3/8" wide. Wonderful colors predominated by red, blues and turquoise and covered in a gold glitter. Overall excellent condition with some normal wee imperfections in the glass and one pin head sized rough spot on the side edge. The glass stopper may not be original. Antique VENETIAN ART GLASS CHATELAINE Perfume Bottle Red Jeweled Lid ADVENTURINE
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a gorgeous Venetian art glass chatelaine with red jeweled lid. The bottle is made of navy blue glass swirled with some sparkly gold aventurine. The result is a mix of gold and different shades of blue. These little bottles are so precious and the beautiful glass is what makes them so special. Each one is unique and there are no two alike. I sold one a couple weeks ago that was round. This one is a little larger and more oval shaped. I do not see any chips or loss of the outer glass. I do see several pin prick sized pits where the swirled glass colors did not meet smoothly or a tiny bubble popped. This is normal for this kind of glass. This type of glass is also multi-layered so any surface marks from the creation do not really go through to the ... moreinside of the bottle. The glaze on this one is actually in remarkable condition for it's age. Most of these were made c. 1880- 1900. The lid is in good condition except for a small dent and a very tiny hole which I have shown in the photos for you. The metal around the top red jewel also appears slightly bent in one area. Of course I am looking at this with a very critical eye so that I mention everything. Having a jeweled top is a little more rare as most have just the plain brass lid. This lid also has a lovely raised design. All the hardware is secure to the bottle and the hinge is in proper working order. The chain and finger ring are intact. It also has it's internal glass stopper. The stopper is so small but there are a couple microscopic nips to the bottom edge. The inside glass rim is intact. It is 4 1/2 inches long with the chain extended. Just the bottle is about 3 inches long/tall from bottom to the top of the jewel. It is about 1 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. A very pretty antique Art Deco perfume Bottle. The Perfume Bottle is either Italian Venetian Glass or Czeck glass. It has pretty swirls and gold inclusions. The stopper is gold mercury glass. MURANO VENETIAN ITALIAN GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE WITH PINK FLOWERS
Offered is a perfume bottle of exquisite beauty. Made in Italy. It is 4 1/2" tall, with a 2 1/2" stopper. There are five pink flowers embedded in the glass, with the pattern and color repeated in the stopper. The lower part of the stopper that fits into the glass is ground, and the inside where the stopper fits is also ground to insure a good seal for any perfume kept in this bottle. The bottom of the perfume bottle is also ground lightly so that it sets more securely, and there is a small gouge on the bottom that looks as though it came that way from the maker. This would be a lovely gift for any collector and would look beautiful displayed on a table or placed where the sun could set off the colors. Items are from a smoke-free home. Victorian Murano Venetian Art Glass Pink Aventurine Scent Perfume Dresser Bottle
Offering a Victorian era Murano venetian art glass latticino scent perfume bottle with stopper. Bottle measures approximately 5 ¼ inches in height to the top of the dauber. It is shaped like a ewer with foot and applied handle. Design is alternating stripes of pink and white criss-cross ribbon. The pink stripes have prolific aventurine on the edges. Pontil is not ground. Overall condition is excellent with no chips. Cracks, flakes or repairs. Please see photo for several dirt specks in the glass done in the blowing process.
