This has a very heavy silver overlay which you can feel on the inside of the top lip and where it has worn through on the bottom. The bottle is completely covered in silver and hand etched with flowers and what looks like a g. This is in very good condition except where the bottom has worn through and has not been polished but will shine up beautifully if desired. This is approximately 5" across x 3 1/2" tall. It did not come with a stopper. The opening is approximately 5/8" The bottom of the bottle is hollow ground which leads me to believe that the bottle was hand blown. Please see pic's for condition. It is very unique in its shape and size. ... moreI believe it is called 8 lobe or clove shape. The overlay is done in a draping floral pattern. The only marks I could find are on the outer rim. They are sterling and 151 I believe. Overall the bottle is in good to great shape. It does not appear to be missing any overlay. There are no repairs. Breaks, chips, or fleabites I could find. There is a couple dings to the sterling on the top but nothing major. It comes with what I believe is the original matching stopper. I wish I could say the condition was the same as the bottle but I can't. It appears to have been dropped a long time ago. There is a tiny corner of overlay missing that is small enough you can barely notice. I say dropped because the base of the stopper has a fairly good size chip all the way up. The edges are smooth leading me to believe it is old damage. It did not affect the beauty end of it though. It measures just under 6 1/2" tall with the stopper in and just under 4 3/4" without. The stopper itself measures about 2 5/8" long. Overall, even with the chipped stopper, it still displays beautifully and would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I am in no way an expert and try to describe things the best I can. Everything I sell is sold in as is condition as it was found. Please look at all pics for a better description. As I buy things to resell from different places. I cannot guarantee them to be from a pet/smoke free home. If you have any questions please feel free to ask before you bid. This bottle measures approximately 2 and 3/4 inches in height. I found the silver marks after shooting the pics. It is marked on a bottom loop. 999/1000. It also has an indeciperable makers mark. Note that both the bottom of the stopper and the bottom of the perfume bottle are etched with a number. The stopper has chips on the edge of the polished end. There are three fairly decent sized chips or cracks compared to the size of the stopper, though they are on the bottom/edge of the stopper. This a gorgeous Antique Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver overlay. The silver is thick and design lovely. It has old Hallmarks 925/1000 and Mark is readable as produced in Atteboro. Massachusetts by Saart Brothers in about 1906. Patented. The bottle measures a Large approx. 5 1/2" Tall X 3 1/2 inches high. The stopper is FREE of Chips. however looks like the interior stem has some cracks. Inside there is some crusty debrie which needs to be cleaned out. No dings! Sterling Silver Overlay Perfume Bottle with Stopper, La Pierre??
Absolutely Beautiful Perfume Bottle with Silver Overlay- Possible La Pierre? This came out of an estate and is a really beautiful piece. It stands approximately 4 inches high and is approximately 2 1/4 inches at the widest section of the bottle. I could not get a picture close and clear enough to show the makers mark. But at the bottom of the neck(the section which is above and just to the right of the engraving nameplate) there is a"L" in cursive with a small cross slashmark on the"L" and then the word"sterling" right next to the"L" This marking appears to match the marking I found for the silver smith La Pierre who started his business in Newark. NJ in the late 1880's. I am not a silversmith and if you have any questions or would need further information, please get in touch and I'll do my ... morebest to help. Also. I did not clean or polish this peice and there are two flaws that I did see. One is a small hairline crack radiating from the bottom of the neck outward and is about 1/2 inch long. When the front of the bottle is facing you, it is up on the left hand side, a bit to the rear so it's not very noticable. The other possible issue is on the top of the stopper, there may be a very tiny peice of the silver design missing. I'm not sure since I'm not familiar with design, but there is an end of one of the decorative sections that has uplifted off the bottle a little bit. Nothing may be missing and it may just need to be glued, but I'm just trying to explain any possible issues that I saw. Overall. This is a really beautiful peice. There was no engraving on the front plate, so I presume you could have it engraved if you wanted to personilize it for your collection or maybe as a special gift for that certain collector! Up for auction is an antique green glass perfume bottle with sterling silver overlay designs. There is no monogram. The stopper is approx. 1.5 inches long. The bottle stands approx. 2.5 inches without the stopper and 3.5 inches with it. On the back of the neck below the rim it is stamped Sterling. I can not find any other marks. There is one very tiny either flaw or chip on the bottom, I really can't tell if it is a flaw in the glass or tiny chip as it is very hard to notice. It is about the size of tiny grain of pepper. Antique Art Nouveau Alvin Sterling Silver Overlay Crystal Perfume 3 Bottle Set
This is a set of antique. 999, sterling silver overlay, art nouveau, perfume bottles. To our knowledge. They are Alvin Sterling Silver with the low numbers of 3104, fine. We're assuming they are rare. The Alvin Manufacturing Company was founded in 1886 by William H. Jamo uneau in Irvington. New Jersey. The company moved to Sag Harbor. Long Island in 1895 and later changed its name to the Alvin Silver Co. in 1919. The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was known for making fine sterling silver. The Gorham company of Providence. Rhode Island acquired the Alvin Company’s dies and patterns in 1928. The largest measures 4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter with original stopper. The second to largest one that's very wide and flat measures approximately 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" diameter with original stopper. The stopper is the one ... morethat's chipped. The top says"GB" in script. The bottom has the hallmark 3104 Fine with the A between two other markings. The stopper has the#53 on the end of the top and 52 on the bottle bottom. The other tall thin stemmed one is 4 1/4" h x 2 3/8's in diameter and the number appears to be 22 on the bottom of the bottle.Don't know if it's a professional marking. This is an antique Victorian Etched Sterling Silver Overlay PERFUME BOTTLE& STOPPER- a very small"decanter" style with a charming fat bottom. The overlay is lovely vines and leaves and flowers. The stopper has a ground glass base and is just as pretty as the body of the piece. Sadly this piece has damage to the glass at the base. It has several cracks relating to a single chip and although they are cracks. The base is TIGHT and secure and there is no danger of the glass"falling out. The person I bought it from could not remember the name of the hotel and the person who sold it to her has past away since and the hotel no longer exists. It is in very good condition except for a very tiny chip at the base of the stopper. The stopper end does have a few rough spots. It measures 3 1/2" tall and about 2" in diameter at the widest part. This listing is for an antique sterling silver overlay perfume bottle. It measures just a little over 3.5" tall and 2.5" at the widest point. The stopper also has the overlay. Part of the marking is worn off. But it looks like it says: Fine Silver 999 1000. Two of the nines and the F are worn off. The bottom of the bottle is etched with the number 167. The silver has light scratches, and the stopper has a few very tiny chips. Overall, nice condition.

Both are in very good, gently used condition. Both pieces are wrapped in an intricate vine and iris pattern overlay of delicate 999 Fine Alvin Sterling Silver. Both the bottle and the stopper are marked on the bottom of the glass with the number 799, and so are a matched set. The bottle has an oval area that is perfect for your monogram or cartouche. This bottle stands 2 1/8" tall without the stopper, and 3 1/4" tall with the stopper, by 2 7/8" across its widest. It still smells faintly of some long ago ladies fragrance. Vintage Antique Faux Bamboo STERLING SILVER OVERLAY 950 PERFUME SCENT BOTTLE
Vintage original 1920's or 1930's era Faux Bamboo Sterling Silver Overlay Perfume or Scent Bottle. Thick silver overlay. Actually a higher grade of silver.950 instead of.925. Unknown maker but certainly quality. Aprox 4 1/4" tall. Original top and hinged pouring spot that opens and closes as you use it. Original cork under the top. There is no damage at all. I did not polish the silver but the tarnish is not the heavy kind and it will polish up beautifull. The detail in the leaves and bamboo show up better without polish reflections anyway. Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Overlay Perfume Bottle .925 Screw Cap
Up for auction is a mini silver overlay perfume bottle. The bottle measures 2.25” tall. It has a square body shape and is 7/8th square. It has a round screw on cap. The bottle is hallmarked on the bottom. The bottom has what appears to be a horse head hallmark and it is marked 925 heco en Mexico. Bottle is in overall nice condition with slight perfume residue inside. Would benefit from a proper polishing. Pictures should tell the story.

As Always ~ No Reserve! This is a beautiful antique clear glass perfume bottle featuring sterling silver overlay in a nice Art Nouveau design. Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Overlay Cranberry Perfume Bottle w/Stopper
You are bidding on a beautiful early 1900's Antique Art Nouveau Dark Cranberry Perfume Bottle with intricate silver lace decoration surrounding the entire bottle and a silver heart stopper. There is a silver cartouche with a fancy capital letter"D" engraved in the center of it. The word"STERLING" is stamped on the opposite side of the cartouche on one of the lower silver laces. Hard to see with the naked eye but it is visible. The bottle is in excellent condition except for some internal hairlines on one side of the inter neck of the bottle which we believe happened from the heat of the silver when it was being applied, there are no other defects. We do not believe the silver heart stopper is an original stopper to the bottle because most the bottles and stoppers we've seen on Ebay look like each other, at least ... morein this style, but it is a very nice stopper and it inserts into the bottle very well. The measurements of the bottle are: 2-9/16" tall, 2-1/16" wide. The measurements of the stopper are: 2" tall, 3/8" wide. With the stopper inserted in the bottle they are: 3-15/16" tall. Offered from my personal collection is this beautiful little sterling silver overlaid perfume. Bottle with matching stopper made in New Jersey by Scharling& Co. before 1934. The pattern is thin scrolls with dogwood flowers and there is a flowery script 2 letter monogram on the irregular shield shaped plate"LM" Excellent condition with no damage noted but the stopper is stuck in. And has not been removed for the 25 years I have had it on display. It may come out with warm water soaks. I just never tried. This one of a kind antique perfume bottle is 4 1/8" tall with the stopper in& 2 3/4" tall with the stopper out. The stopper is 2 1/8" long which also has sterling silver overlay. The sterling silver overlay has the initials S.J. 3 hallmarks which I can not make out what they are. I could not find out who made the bottle or who the master silver smith was.The sterling silver is not marked sterling or 925. I had it tested& it is sterling. Looking at the bottom of the bottle you can see it is hand blowen. There are no chips or cracks. IT TRULEY IS A WORK OF ART. Shipping is $10.00. With insurance.

Up for bids is an antique Art Nouveau style perfume bottle. It is made of glass with sterling silver overlay. I believe it is called squat shaped. The overlay is done in a very beautiful floral/leaf pattern. Overall the bottle is in good to great condition. As far as I could tell there is no loss of sterling. Repairs, or cracks/chips/breaks to the glass. The only mark I could find on it is Sterling. There is some minor residue inside from whatever was in it years ago. Also the sterling has a couple minor dings on the rim. It has a place for a monogram that is clear and ready for your personalization. It comes with its original matching stopper. The hand blown stopper would be in great shape if it wasn't for the one chip as seen in the pics. The bottle stands just over 3" tall with the stopper on and 2 1/4" tall with it off. ... moreThe stopper is about 1 5/8" tall. Overall this would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
