Dating from ... morethe 1870s to 1880s this is in great original finish dresser. It has burl raised panel picture frame panel molded drawers on the two large and four small drawers. It has dainty brass handle hardware which I am not sure are original. The keyhole escutcheon are the big round medallions. The candle shelves have heavy incise carved burl front shelf supports, burl walnut trim going up the mirror and the big crest on top with a doorbell looking medallion on the top. The mirror is bevel glass, which is normally straight glass. The drawers are all hand cut dove tail. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 90 inches high overall.

It is in ... morereally nice condition. I am assuming that it was finished a long time ago as the finish is dull/worn down and mellow looking. A couple of coats of lacquer could be added to give it a more vibrant look if desired, but I personally like the mellow finish. The dresser has white and gray grained round corner marble top with the insert in the center, raised burl panels on the drawers, big circular buttons on the middle of the large drawers, Victorian tear drop pulls, candle shelves on the mirror, applied carvings, burl panels and a beautifully carved fancy crest. It has the original old mirror showing minor silver wear.

This fabulous early dresser is from Chicora Wood Plantation; an historical Rice plantation in South Carolina that was built in 1817. We believe this dresser to have its original rich finish. Original marble and mirror and the original early wood ring drawer pulls that are attached with wooden screws and blocks, and the original casters intact on the base. This high quality dresser has early dove-tailed construction on the dresser base top up under the marble and also on the drawer ends; and an old label with an original owners name handwritten with Chicora, SC written below on the base up under the marble. This dresser has a grand, majestic presence with incredible carvings and details; and amazingly left in its original state.you can almost feel the history in this piece when you touch it.incredible! This grand 19th century dresser measures 89 1/2 inches tall to the top of the fancy carved crest on the mirror. Height to the marble top is 35 inches, total width of 49 inches, total depth of 23 1/2 inches and weighs approximately 250 lbs, This dresser does dis-assemble into 5 pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving( base, marble, mirror, two carved arm supports) The original oval mirror measures 38 1/2 inches high by 27 3/4 inches and is attached to the fancy carved arm supports with the original walnut finial screws and the mirror does pivot front to back to adjust for viewing. Drop center design. 3 marble tops(gray and white, beveled edge) Marble is in good shape, ever-so-slight stains. Has 4 smaller drawers at top, 2 large drawers at bottom, and a"secret" drawer at bottom base. Has Knapp joints on drawers(see close-up) Middle drawer sticks somewhat, but can probably be fixed. Exquisite wood carvings and raised burl walnut panels. Drawer pulls are wood carved leaf design. Candle shelves on each side of mirror. On casters. Solid and sturdy. Measures 86"H x 46-1/2"W x 19"D. This 19th century dresser measures 83 inches(6 ft 11 inches) in total height from the floor to the very top of the carved crest. A width of 37 inches, and a total depth of 17 inches and this dresser weighs approximately 135 lbs. The height from the floor to the top of the marble at the sides measures 31 1/2 inches, and height from the floor to the marble at the center measures 22 1/2 inches. Be sure to add me to your! This ANTIQUE LATE 1800's VICTORIAN DRESSSER is made from solid walnut and has been refinished. It has three large drawers with a fancy skirt around the bottom on four legs with rollers. Which roll very well. On top of this are two glove boxes on each side separated by white marble. The back holds the elegant curved and bevelled mirror housed in a walnut curved frame with applied wood decoration and a special decoration extending several inches above the top of the mirror frame. There are four original leaf carved handles which are not on the piece. The buyer would have the choice of putting on handles of his choice or matching the original handles with two more. As refinished this piece is in excellent condition except for the missing two original handles. The three drawers are 36 inches wide; it is 37 inches ... morefrom floor to marble. This beautiful 19th century dresser features an abundance of gorgeous carvings and burl walnut accents on the crest of the tall dressing mirror.The original period brass pulls, period dove-tailed ends on the drawers and all the casters intact on the base. This splendid dresser measures a total height from the floor to the top of the mirror of 92 inches(7 ft 8 inches) A total width of 51 1/2 inches, height from the floor to the top of the dresser sides measures 36 inches, and height from the floor to the marble at the center measures 23 inches, with a total depth at the base of 20 inches and this dresser weighs approximately 150 lbs. The marble at the center measures 22 inches wide by 14 1/2 inches deep. The vintage replacement ... moremirror measures 47 inches in height by 19 inches wide. This dresser has four smaller drawers(two on each side) over the two larger ones at the base. All the locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have the key. for sale a wonderful pierced carved victorian rococo walnut dresser vanity or possibly a shaving stand. depends on what you want as to what you call it. it is a great piece presented in original finish with wonderful patina. it is in near mint condition with the exception of a small repair. Looks as if screws have been replaced on one of the back swivel mount pieces. there are no weakness or problem and the function is perfect, but it has been tweaked a bit. it is 30 inches wide and sits on great carved rococo feet. the base has three hinged caskets for whatever you want to put in them. it is 12 inches deep, extending one inch behind the mirror base. the mirror base and harp are of wonderful form and design. the base and harp are pierced carved in the finest fashion. it is 33 inches in overall height. the harp houses an oval frame which contains ... morethe original mirror that is nearly perfect. there is the minutest amount of sliver loss. these are hard to find especially in the shape this one is in. the three caskets are a 9.5 inch oval in the center and two 6.5 inch round ones on either side of the central oval one. someone will be proud to own this great piece. it may be picked up at my home and shipped at buyer's expense. i have owned about 4 of these in 40 years, none any nicer than this one, but all sold for a lot more than i am starting this one at. i had one that i had a little dresser base for it to sit on. it sold for about 3000 a few years back. anyway, if you are on your toes you can get a bargain here. a rare and fair find and wonderful in every way.

Antique Victorian Walnut Drop Well Dresser w/ Marble Tops Ornate Hand Carving
We are pleased to offer to the market this beautiful antique drop well dresser. Constructed from walnut. This piece is ornately carved. The piece stands 91.5" high at the center of the mirror. The base is 44.5" wide at the bottom and 44" wide at the top of the drawers. It has an overall depth of 18 1/8" and the height of the center well is 16 5/8" The hardware on this has been replaced but still matches quite well. The pulls all have lion faces on them. The marble slabs that sit on the top of the drawers have a space that is approximately 1/2 an inch on each side where the wood shows. I am unsure as to whether these pieces were replaced or not. The slab of marble that sits on top of the well fits snugly and appears to be original to the piece. There are"wings" that attach on each side of the mirror that ... morehave attached candle stands on the front. These also have ornate carving on them. The mirror has beveled glass and is in good condition. There are some age separation cracks on the side panels and there is also a crack on the inside panel on the left side. There are some light surface scratches on the bun feet and base from use and most likely from a vacuum cleaner. This is a previously owned item and it is being sold as shown. Victorian Walnut chest dresser with wishbone mirror late 1800's acorn pulls
This is a very nice walnut dresser with wishbone mirror. As far as we know it is all original. It has been owned by one family for the past 70 years. We do not know the history of it prior to that. The piece is in very good condition with exception of a crack on the top of the right hand glove box and a couple dark stains on the top of the dresser. As you know. Any antique furniture will have minor nicks. We have not tried to repair anything, but did apply a good furniture oil to the entire surface. Acorn pull handles. This is a really nice old Eastlake Victorian dresser. It is in remarkably good condition. The drawers have the pegged scolloped rabbet joint very typical of the 1870's. The drawer bottoms are all original and in good condition. The top drawer which got a lot more use than the other drawers was worn on the bottom so its sides have been added onto to make them the proper size. The knobs have been replaced. But there is just one hole in the drawer indicating that the original pulls were single knobs. More pictures can be made available upon request for such things as I just described. This dresser is 98 inches tall to the top of the mirror. The dresser base is 26 inches tall to the top of the marble and it is 46 inches wide. The depth from front to back is 20-1/2 inches. Antique Victorian, Eastlake Style Walnut Dresser with Swivel Mirror - 1884
This Victorian- Eastlake walnut dresser is a fine specimen of the Eastlake period of simple but elegant design. The mirror latch shows a date of August. 1884. The piece has four dovetail drawers and a cabinet with a turning wood handle latch. The hardware includes exemplary Eastlake nickel-plate stamped brass pulls and plated bales. 17" deep, 33" wide, 28" high to counter, 66" high total height. Local pickup or buyer arranged shipping.

This fantastic dresser features a large dressing mirror flanked on either side by burl walnut panels and double candle/display shelves. A drop center bottom offers two small drawers an each side one large drawer and a secret drawer. The secret drawers are wonderful for hiding jewelry and other thing you kept out of sight. Please not the deep inset panels on the front of the drawers and on the inside of the center marble. The original white and grey marble is in excellent condition. No chips, breaks or cracks. In fantastic condition this dresser exudes all the elegance and grandeur that was the Victorian era and will add that elegance and grandeur to any home.
