It is of the finest quality made during the period and we are quite comfortable in attributing this set to Berkey& Gay. The gorgeous bed measures 92” in total height from the floor to the top of the Headboard Crown, 64 ¼” in width and 82” in length. The internal mattress area measurements are 57 ¾” in width by 75” in length which should easily accommodate any full size mattress, however we do recommend that you measure your mattress to ensure proper fit. Condition: Used Location: Monrovia, United States Offered here is this Amazing Victorian Walnut & Burled Rosewood Marble Top Vanity, with triple mirror top. It is in good condition but does have some ... morecondition issues. I am unsure of the actual age of the dresser but would guess it to come from the mid to late 19th Century. It is made of walnut, with burled rosewood accents. The side mirrors pivot at adjustable angles. The bottom front of the dresser on the left side as you face it is broken off and needs to be repaired. Some of the original wooden drawer pulls are missing as well. There is a glove box inside one of the small drawers, and there are some spare parts that will be shipped with the dresser, including some extra casters. Up for auction is a Victorian drop center dresser. It is special in that it is made of American Chestnut. A species that was wiped out by chestnut blight- very few mature specimens exist today. The dresser is in good condition, with the exception of a small repair(pictured) and some dings from someone's overzealous hammer use. The original beveled mirror is in good shape with some streaking as expected for a 130+year old mirror. The dresser would be a great accent piece, or could be converted to a sink basin. These pieces feature Renaissance Revival/ Rococo elements including serpentine ribbed"carpenter's lace" on the edges and around the dresser's tilt mirror. They have applied hand carved drawer pulls. Vanity table, or convert it to a bathroom sink/vanity/counter. If you were to do a sink, you'd need to take the drawer bottoms off and somehow keep the drawer fronts on. The center top of the mirror is graced with a beautiful scrolled foliate crown with carved grape cluster center. To the top center, this is 74" tall, the base is 40" tall to the top of the glove boxes, 40" wide and 19" front to back. AGAIN, THIS IS A VERY NICE AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF PIECE OF AMERICAN FURNITURE! The wishbone mirror frame, is 17" wide and 25 1/2" tall, this is not including the fancy cut out top. This mirror is removable. You just pick it up if you don't need it, and store it away. The beautiful burled walnut front and top is accompanied by walnut cross banding on the edges of the drawers and around the top. No key remains. ... moreAll of the five drawers are well opening drawers with Hepplewhite style brass batwing pulls. Each drawer was constructed with hand cut dovetails, a sign of age and craftsmanship. Tall bracket feet finish the piece off nicely at the bottom. You will notice that the top and bottom mouldings appear to have been done in sections. We believe this was intentional and it does not appear like repairs. The wood has developed crackling over the drawer fronts and top surface. This gives the chest a distressed look and provides character and charm to an already lovely dresser! Other minor dings and marks can be found here and there as you would expect from something of this age. Overall this burled walnut chest of drawers is in very good condition. Beautiful Antique Victorian Drop Center Dresser measures 89 inches tall(7 feet 5 inches) 46 inches wide and 18.5 inches deep. Floor to center marble top is 24" Floor to side marble top is 30" Shows normal wear for a piece that is over 100 years old. Missing left side thin wood trim about 2/3 way up(see picture) Center marble piece appears to be a replacement. Marble pieces and mirror remove for shipping. Antique Victorian Dresser & Mirror w/ Hidden Drawer Walnut & Oak 1800s
Offered for sale is this 19th Century Victorian dresser and Mirror combo made from Oak. Walnut and Poplar. To the best of my knowledge it has not been refinished. The number"81" is stamped into the back of the mirror in two different places. I can find no other markings. Hidden drawer has at one time had the bottom replaced with newer thin plywood. It is only visible when pulled out and upside down. Dimensions are Width-39 Depth-20 Height-73* When unlatched. The mirror tilts forward and backward. Drawers all operate smoothly.
