This is an early period all over shiny Copper Lustre glazed mirror finish Ovoid Sugar Bowl in the period boat-form preferred in the earlier days of pottery design and manufacture. Presumably. To accommodate sugar lumps and chunks in the days before granulated bags of ground sugar were a common household commodity. This piece does not have its matching top but can happily serve its new owner as a wrapped candy dish or squat bloom vase or catch all for whatever small objects litter your work space! It stands alone as a fat coppery pot quite proudly as a shelf piece. Side of body has pair of embossed"wings" with three rib flanges each on flat side radiating upwards. Overall exterior color is a medium dark copper color with some light frosting in the ridges as part of manufacture ... moreprocess. Antique MZ Austria Creamer & Sugar Bowl Pink Roses Habsburgh China
Here is a creamer and sugar bowl from a local estate. Made of porcelain or bone china. These pieces are by Moritz Zdekauker who made pieces from 1884 to 1909. Each is stamped in green on the bottom with"MZ" a double headed eagle, then"Austria" Also on the larger sugar bowl, in gold paint, is"Habsburgh China" There is also an embossed number that I can't read. Each piece is a long oval that is flattened into an irregular octagon. The sugar bowl is 4 1/2" tall from the bottom to the top of the loop handle on the lid. It has two side handles; the bottom is almost 5" by 3 3/4" The creamer is 2 1/2" tall; bottom is 3 3/4" by 3" I do not know the name of the pattern that decorates these pieces. The border is tiny open purple hearts with a red liner top and bottom. There are arcs of ... moregold bows and stars; the front and back has a gold arbor with pink roses in the center. I do not recall how I acquired this item. Based on observation and reasonable knowledge. I am'estimating' its vintage era to be somewhere between 1850 and the early part of the 20th century. Its manufacture could be ironstone, cerami c or some other composition. It may or may not be considered Staffordshire. It has been washed. Any discoloration is under the glaze or imbedded in it. There are two obvious long ago repairs. The knob portion of the lid has been re-glued. It was poorly aligned during this ... moreprocess. One handle has been re-attached. The alignment is good. However, there is a small piece missing as a result of the breakage. There are several other random but insignificant minor chips considering the age and overall respectable condition of this very old piece of hist ory. I feel the soft blue coloring and what appears to be a Grecian landscape gives this item a very'homey' warmth. Certainly sugar was a precio us commo dity during the time of its manufacture. Antique C.T. Altwasser Creamer, Sugar & Condiment Jar/Jam Jar - Daisies-c. 1900
Antique Creamer. Sugar and Jam Jar. For auction is a matching set of antique porcelain items from Carl Tielsch Porcelian Company. The set includes a creamer/pitcher. A covered sugar bowl with lid and covered jam jar/condiment jar with lid. All of the pieces are decorated with daisies and green foliage. They have gold trim around the edges and on the handles. Each piece is marked on the bottom with“C.T. ALTWASSER” Which dates the pieces around 1900. They also have the name“CONRAD” written on them which may have been the name of the artist. The word“SELESIA” is also marked on the bottom. They are in good condition with no chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs. The finial on the sugar lid looks like it had a flake on it during manufacture and it was painted over. The creamer is about 4 7/8” tall. The sugar measures about 5 3/8” across from handle ... moreto handle and about 4 7/8” high and the jam jar is about 3 ¼” high and about 4 7/8” across from handle to handle. Antique Sanssouci German Creamer & Sugar Porcelain Bowl Germany Victorian
Rare and Stunning- Creamer& Lidded Sugar Bowl- Sanssouci Germany; numbered. Absolutely gorgeous green& floral backdrop to a Victorian dressed couple. On the Creamer. They are pictured outside- he is a formal long tailed outfit with knickers and she in her long dress is seated on a bench. The rest of the vase has beautiful bunches, and some singles, of blue, pink, orange, purple flowers; accented with green leaves. It has gold accents on the handle, the edge of the spout and on different sections of the creamer highlighting the green coloring on various sections of the creamer. The sugar bowl has 2 different scences in which the couple is shown. One is standing in front of a body of water with a bridge and the other one she is seated and he is standing. There is some loss/worn of gold trim color on certain small sections of each piece. ... moreOn the bottom of the each rim there are a few tiny rough spots to the touch. They both have the older crown, crossed lines and a large R and C in dark green on either side with SANSSOUCI stamped underneath. It is numbered by hand, 2321-15, and has the word Germany stamped in Red on the bottom of each piece. The symbols on the bottom of the sugar bowl clear and are a little worn off on the bottom of the creamer. The bowl is about 4 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide on the bottom. The creamer is about 5 1/4" at the highest point of the handle and is 2 1/2" wide on the bottom. Beautiful, classy and old this would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Antique Red Glass Sugar & Creamer Silverplate Rims Floral & Scroll Raised Detail
Up for sale is a gorgeous antique red glass large creamer and sugar with silverplate rims that have embossed or raised flowers and scrolls. They are footed and ribbed. The creamer is 4" tall and it is 5" from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle. The creamer is 4" tall and it is 5 1/2" from handle to handle. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. There is one tiny extra bit of glass on the side of the creamer. And two small bits on the base of the creamer. There are air bubbles. There are two indented lines on the bottom of the sugar. They are not marked, beyond the indented lines. I don't know if there were ever lids made to go with these, but this is how I pu rchased the set. Insurance is included in the shipping fee. Thanks for looking.

Noritake M Morimura Antique Mid Century Gold Rim Sugar Bowl Creamer Spice Shaker
This beautiful old set of Noritake tableware is from the mid 20th century. The fact that the M symbol is used to designate the founder's name means it predates 1953. There are no chips or cracks. Some of the gold is worn off. It is 4.25" to the top of the sugar bowl lid; 3.25" to the top of the creamer; the spice shaker(ala cinnamon) is 3" tall(needs a cork)

Up for bidding is a beautiful antique sugar bowl and creamer set made by Johann Seltmann of Germany. This lovely set has a white background and is decorated with Fruit and Nuts. Both pieces are marked with the a J. S. Germany V back stamp as indicated in the photos. This trademark dates it from 1911-1932. Measurements: The creamer measures approximately 5" wide across handle-spout x 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" across the ruffled base. The lidded sugar bowl measures 6" wide across handles x 5" tall with lid x 2 3/4" across base. The pieces are in very good vintage condition. With no breaks, chips or crazing and no repairs.

This have a lot of crazing and on the sugar one arm has been repaired-some chips here& there but they are still around. These measure as follows: sugar-6 1/2 wide by 4 1/4 high: Creamer-4 1/2 wide and 3 1/2 high. These were made circa 1900. Unknown Maker Antique Covered Sugar Dish w/ Silver Trim Made in USA
This listing is for an antique covered. With handles, sugar dish. I have searched and searched, but cannot figure out who the maker is. There is a stamp on the bottom of the dish and I cannot make out the top two lines. The bottom 3 lines read"White, Made in U.S.A, 121A" It is a sweet little sugar dish that without the lid is 3.5 inches high and 5.5 inches wide measuring from the ends of each handle. It has a beautiful pattern with roses and red, blue and yellow flowers that is obviously an old pattern. It is trimmed in silver at the rim of the dish, the rim of the lid and on top of the lid's'knob' It is in wonderful condition with no cracks, scratches or other obvious wear other than some gentle usage over the years. There isn't even any crazing in the glaze.
