Purple& Brown Lustre O ffered for auction: A very pretty antique porcelain creamer with a richly colored luster(lustre) decoration in brown and purple. With gold trim and a brightly colored floral design on the front. Th e creamer is richly decorated with embossed swirls and beads. Highlighted by the luster finish. This piece measures 3.25 inches high near the end of the spout and 4-7/8 inches long from spout tip to handle end. It is in very good to excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. Surprisingly no crazing.And only a little bit of wear to the gold trim around the spout edge. The piece is clearly marked on the bottom with a green logo that reads" Germany/ W. This stamp is a New York based import stamp. This import company held a contract with P M from around 1910– 1938. So basically this is P M Bavaria porcelain that was distributed by L.D.B. Co. From around 1910 until 1938 a contract existed between the'Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf A.G. and the New York based import and distribution company L.D.B.Co. who not only ordered ... moreitems in Moschendorf but from other manufacturers like Schmider in Zell. Rare and Stunning- Creamer& Lidded Sugar Bowl- Sanssouci Germany; numbered. Absolutely gorgeous green& floral backdrop to a Victorian dressed couple. On the Creamer. They are pictured outside- he is a formal long tailed outfit with knickers and she in her long dress is seated on a bench. The rest of the vase has beautiful bunches, and some singles, of blue, pink, orange, purple flowers; accented with green leaves. It has gold accents on the handle, the edge of the spout and on different sections of the creamer highlighting the green coloring on various sections of the creamer. The sugar bowl has 2 different scences in which the couple is shown. One is standing in front of a body of water with a bridge and the other one she is seated and he is standing. There is some loss/worn of gold trim color on certain small sections of each piece. ... moreOn the bottom of the each rim there are a few tiny rough spots to the touch. They both have the older crown, crossed lines and a large R and C in dark green on either side with SANSSOUCI stamped underneath. It is numbered by hand, 2321-15, and has the word Germany stamped in Red on the bottom of each piece. The symbols on the bottom of the sugar bowl clear and are a little worn off on the bottom of the creamer. The bowl is about 4 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide on the bottom. The creamer is about 5 1/4" at the highest point of the handle and is 2 1/2" wide on the bottom. Beautiful, classy and old this would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Mixed lot of 3 different porcelain creamers. 1 blue and white design-bottom has a crown symbol and says Peltinauss(this word was hard to read) Weiden-K. Buvaria W. Germany- this measures 1 1/2 inches tall. Another blue and white one-bottom says London. England this one measures 2 inches. The 3rd one measures 3 1/2 inches from top of handle to bottom rim. This offering is for a very pretty little pitcher with New York in gold. A cobalt blue band, and some gold trim. Very nice condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs. Light ribbing all the way around the pitcher. Marked on the bottom Germany and a number that might be 333 or 323. Measures approx. 3 ½” tall by 4” across from spout to handle. Beautiful Antique Hand Painted Porcelain Cream & Sugar Jaeger & Co Germany
Offered here for your consideration is this very beautifully hand painted antique creamer and lidded sugar bowl. They have the back stamp of Jaeger and Company from Germany. The mark on the bottom was used between 1898-1923. With the mark more prominent on the sugar bowl. Both pieces are in MINT condition with no chips, nicks, flea bites, cracks, crazing or paint loss. The colors are of peach roses done on a variegated background of mint green and darker shades of green, pale blue blending into a slate blue into a navy blue. There is also a darker orange blended into a burnt orange on the handles and lid. The sugar bowl measures 6 inches across from handle to handle and the opening is approximately 3 inches and stands approximately 4 inches tall. Pitcher with his curled tail handle and spout that pours from his comb is sporting many colors! The colors would blend well in almost any décor! The green yellow orange and cream are the focal colors with the offset of a light blue on his wings. This beautiful Rooster Creamer is marked GERMANY in light red/orange on the bottom of this creamer could be attributed to being produced by one of the Royal Porcelain factories circa late 1900 to 1930. 4"wide x 7" height x 3"tall Mouth of bowl is approximately 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" This treasure is from my prussian-american Milwaukee aunts who have had this in their china cabinet for decades. They are 80 and i'm sure this is pre-war. Period art-deco! White porcelain with a buttery glaze/wash over it; fantastic multi-coloured geometric design on top and along sides! Mouth of sugar bowl has one chip on inside lip edge. As far as i can tell. Some scuffing on bottom ceramic. Some light cuffing on decal. Ive cleaned this piece with a toothbrush and warm. Soapy water but there are to-be-expected areas of dark dirt?browning in small places. From the looks it. The abstract very typical and stylish ART DECO design is a decal- not handpainted. the design/color pattern repeats on the opposite side of the bowl, the thin black ... morelines are too straight and there looks like in the process of applying the decal. There were small breaks or overlaps. There is no lid with it. As it may have been lost of misplaced decades ago.thus the reason for it being relegated to the rear of my aunts' china cabinet shelf! Otherwise. In remarkable, clean condition and if it doesnt get snapped-up in the auction, i may repurpose it for a small flower pot/planter! STYLISH AND PRE-WAR ART DECO! This delicate sugar bowl is about 5" tall from bottom to top of the decorated lid. It is about 5" wide. But 7" wide if you include both handles. Like new even though it is old, as it was stored for most of it's life. This piece is in a color that is very hard to find. This particular color and pattern went out of production in 1946. It is both shiny luminous and delicate. Made by Johann Haviland in Bavaria Germany.

Trimmed in gold. The sides of the sugar and creamer have 2 stem of wild flowers with green leaves and the sugar lid has 3 stemed pink wild flowers and one with no flowers. It is marked on the bottom. Hutschenreuther Selb, encircled Lions with LHS, Bavaria Germany, Favorit, 1 1/2 8 127 47(as seen in photo on bottom of sugar bowl) Creamer is marked same except after Germany it says 8 127 57 and 40(in red) as seen in photo. Please see the photo. Creamer stands about 2 1/2" tall and it is about 5" from handle to spout. The Sugar Bowl stands 2 1/2 tall top of lid and 4 3/4" across. Measurements are approximate. Vintage. Antique BAVARIA GERMANY Toothpick/Match holder hand painted with a rose vine that swirls around the piece. 2 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" across base. 1 1/2" at top. There is a light green wash tinting the outside that may not show up in the photos. This pretty piece is in excellent condition for its age. Which may be 60 or more years. There is a small chip on the inner lip which I only found by feeling. Since it is on the white inside I don't think I can get an exact picture of it but I will try if you are interested. It does not affect the form, fit or function.
