This pretty little 2 handled. Footed bowl may be a sugar bowl. There are no markings, I can see where there may have been a label on the bottom but it's gone. It has a mother of pearl glaze, is trimmed with gold around the base, rim and on the handles. It believe it's hand painted and has a textured dimension to the outside, like a geodesic dome. Antique Z S& C Bavarian Porcelain Covered Sugar& Creamer Pink Roses. Circa 1880 and 1918. This lot features a lovely antique porcelain scalloped covered creamer and sugar set manufactured by ZS& C. The company'Zeh. Scherzer& Co. was founded in 1880 and directly started to produce a wide range of pieces including coffee and tea sets, normal household items and tableware as well as decoration porcelain. This beautiful set features a design of pink roses. Gold trellis, and trailing foliage. Fully marked on the bottom. The creamer measures 2 7/8" tall. The covered Sugar measures 4" with lid tall. There is wear to the gilt trim on the lid of the sugar. No chips, cracks or repairs. Lovely set. Sells as is without reserve.

Antique hand-painted porcelain sugar and matching small plate(NOT a saucer with a ring. But a plate meant for serving somethng) It there had been a maker's mark for the porcelain sugar, that was covered with paint and glaze before low-firing. Sugar in an appealing shape, measures 6" handle to handle, 2.5" width, 2.75" high. Small plate measures 4.75" Not signed. The roses and forget-me-nots are nicely executed. Bit of sold missing from rims. The flake which makes a very small chip on end rim is shown in last couple of photos. Try to see the perspecitive- the chip is really very tiny, but looks enormous in my photo. No other chips, or cracks, or crazing. I think the last owner displayed the plate behind the sugar. This is a great piece of antique English Mulberry transferware ironstone. It is in the"Tavoy" pattern. Which was registered by T Walker c. 1850. T Walker potted from 1845-1851. This sugar bowl is missing its lid. I used it for pencils in my kitchen to complement my mulberry dishes. It is in very nice condition. With only a chip on the underside of one of the handles and a rough spot on the same handle. No other chips or cracks. It is nice and glossy. There are the usual stilt marks on the base(from stacking in the kiln) The second handle has a potting flaw- part of the end is missing- this is completely glazed over. There are some chips to the inside rim the cover rests on and a 1/4 inch chip of the paint layer about 1 inch away from the handel on the white(you can barely see it as kind of blends in with the design. see photo) On the handles each one has a corner chipped. This is a gorgeous hand painted antique cream and sugar set from Bavaria. Germany. The maker is Z. S. Co, which traded as Zeh& Co from 1910 to 1902. The company originated in 1880 under the name Zeh Scherzer Co. who was the original founder. The makers mark on the underside of these pieces indicates that they were made between 1880 and 1918. Both pieces present in excellent condition, with no flaws to be found. This is quite wonderful, as they are 100 or more years old. The pattern is titled Irma, and was all hand done. The pieces are very dainty, and feature a pastel background of blue and green, with assorted shades of red, yellow, pink, and lilac flowers. Each with graceful gold handles, and a gold knob on top of the sugar lid. The creamer stands 3 and a1/2 in tall, and the sugar is 5 in tall with the lid on. This is an estate find and I was told pre 1940 but don't have an exact age. They are very pretty in white with blue flowers and gold trim& the biggest sugar bowl I've ever seen. They are both marked Goodwin Pottery semi porcelain established 1844. They do have slight crazing on bottoms due to age but no chips or cracks. The cream pitcher is marked# 6712 and is 5" tall and 5" wide including handle. The sugar is 4" tall without the lid and 7 1/2" wide with both handles. She never used it. But from the mark it appears to have been made possibly in 1895. I have had it myself for over 25 years in addition to the time my grandmother had it. It is a beautiful white porcelain with a gold accent design and a floral pattern of pink and blue flowers with some green and what appears to me as yellow and purple. All three pieces are included in this auction as a set. The coffee pot or teapot or perhaps chocolate potmeasures approximately 9.5" tall x 7" x 6" and comes with the lid.The Sugar Bowl is 5" x 5" x 5" ... moreand also comes with the lid. The Creamer is 4.5" x 4.25" x 3"All of these pieces carry the same identical mark of- Porcelaine Theodore Haviland Limoges France. The set appears to be in excellent condition with only a teeny tiny chip on the spout of the coffee pot and a rough mark on lip of the sugar bowl which is like a spot where the glaze was missed. After careful feeling and visual examination I think it is safe to say that there are no defects to the creamer and no other defects to the pot or bowl than those noted. An excellent specimen for the collector from the time period so long ago. I don't know much about china other than Grandma sure had a lot of it! So. Antique Sugar Bowl Delinieres Limoges hand painted by White’s Art Co pre 1923 This unique and exquisite antique sugar bowl was handed down to me from my grandmother. It’s probably part of tea set but I have not found any other pieces like this to confirm that. It’s in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and only natural paint wear on the handles and at the top rim where the lid sets. What seems to be a paint blemish on the right side of the rim(see picture#6) appears to be White’s Art Co triangular stamp. It measures almost 3 inches tall. 5 inches wide from handle to handle, it has a 3 inch circumference top and a 3.5 inch circumference bottom. The porcelain blank was made by The Delinieres& Co from Limoges. France and the D&Co mark dates its manufacturing between 1894 and 1900. The intricate Gold painted roses in art deco ... morestyle were done by White’s Art Co of Chicago. The White's Studio of Chicago operated as a decorating Studio from 1914-1923 in downtown Chicago. During this era they produced hand painted wares that matched the great studios of the day including Pickard. Brauer, Donath, Osborne, and Stouffer. A number of their artists also decorated at the Pickard Studio, as well as other less known decorating studios. In fact, this piece looks very much like a Pickard piece but the famous red triangle mark of White’s Art Co proves otherwise. See Reed's Pickard Collectors Book for more information on this fine period studio(P.301-304) This beautiful piece glistens just like gold nuggets do in the sunshine though I have no proof that the paint actually contains pure gold. In excellent antique condition, free of cracks and repairs with only two very minor chips(one on the inside rim holding the lid and the other on the lid hidden by a painted branch) Handles on each side and matching lid, in mint condition. No manufacturer's mark on the bottom; only the pattern number"6909" The sugar bowl measures 3 7/8" tall, from the base to the top of the handle; 3 1/4" in diameter at the widest part of the bowl; and 4 1/2" in diameter if handles are included. Ebay Listing Page Antique Amish Snowflake Spongeware Stick Spatter Flow Blue Sugar Bowl Item Description: Up for auction is a beautiful antique spongeware or stick spatter decorated sugar bowl made in England during the late 1800s. The sugar bowl is made of earthenware and it is hand-painted in the Amish Snowflake pattern which consists of a deep cobalt flow blue color with snowflakes and a herringbone style border. The bottom of the sugar bowl is not marked. But this pattern can be seen in Kelly& Kowalsky's Spongeware book on pg. 209. Overall the sugar bowl stands about 6 7/8" tall. Item Condition: The overall condition of the sugar bowl is excellent. It is very clean and there are no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas exceot for a small flake to the rim of the base, a small 1/4" chip to the rim of the lid, and a small flake ... moreto the tip of the finial. The color is extremely nice with no staining. The glaze displays fine consistent crazing throughout and there is minor glaze rubbing to the rim.
