Pretty Antique Blue Glass Child's Creamer and Sugar~Old Japan
This delightful old Japan blue glass creamer and sugar for a child is being offered for the first time on the eBay market today! Both are in very good shape with no chips or cracks. Straw mark inside the bottom of the creamer does not catch the fingernail and does not go thru to the outside. Straw marks are common to glassmaking and only noted for utmost care in description. A note about this pretty type of glass: it appears to be a slag type of old glass. I.e. you can't see through it, and there are wavy white lines running through the blue. Very interesting, very eye catching! Lid is original to the piece. We know it is Japan because it is stamped into the glass. Creamer is 1 and 1/2 inches high; sugar with lid is 1 and 7/8 inches high. Measurements: Creamer- 3" tall x 4.75" from handle to end of spout x 3" across. Sugar- with lid it is 3.5" tall(without 2.5" tall) x 3" diameter- opening is 2.25" Tray- 9.25" x 3.75" x almost.75" tall. Label/Backstamp: Both the sugar and creamer are stamped JAPAN on the bottom. Material: Ceramic. Condition: Crazing on all piecese as common with older glazed pieces. Rim of sugar lid has a small chip that was painted over but not glazed. See close-up. Tray has some small pottery hickeys and light utensil-like scratches. Very small, tight and old hairline on rim of sugar, have to look for it. This auction is for a n absolutely STUNNING. Truly Beautiful pair of Porcelain hand painted Geisha Girls Japanese Tea Sugar Dish and Creamer Set. Marked'Made in Japan' on bot toms in red on both pieces. I am un certain of the exact manufacturer. But they are both in Excellent Condition. With no damage, though the creamer has one very small spot where the red paint seems to have chipped on the rim. But is not very noticeable. You will be bidding on a 1950s ceramic creamer and sugar set shaped like cows made by Ucagco in Japan. They are primarily white with blue polka dots. They each have a yellowish- brown tuft of hair between their horns and a brown rope around their neck with a bell. One is yellow and the other maroon. Both have pink ears and brown hooves, The standing one is the creamer with the tail being the handle and the mouth the spout. The sitting one is the sugar with the tail being the handle to its lid. Soft yellow band outlined in black topped with rust/red florals and greenery. Gold trim. Very faint Made in Japan mark on bottom of creamer- piece has to be tilted in bright light to see mark. Creamer stands just under 1 3/4" to rim. Measures 4 3/4" across from front of pour spout to back of handle. Sugar bowl measures 5 5/8" across from handle edge to handle edge. Both pieces in excellent vintage condition. No chips. Cracks or glaze crazing found. Creamer has a few extra tiny dark specks- a couple inside, one near rim, and a couple in white section around sides. Very minor wear to gold trim. Great retro colors, black yellow and gray on an ivory glossy base. Little gem of a creamer measures 3" high, 5 1/2" long including handle, and 2 1/2" wide. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or scratches. No crazing or dicoloration. There is a slight mark on the rim, appears to be a manufacturers mark, as it is glazed. Vtg Japan Blue Cow Farm Animal Daisy Bell Pottery Creamer Pitcher Figurine
This vintage creamer measures approximately 6 1/2" tall x 3" wide x 4" deep. It features a cow's head with a wide open mouth for pouring. She is wearing a collar with a bell around her neck. Her legs wrap around the sides of the pitcher and the front has a cluster of daisies on a raised panel. It has a light blue glaze with red painted mouth and yellow and black eyes. The paint on the eyes and mouth is wearing with age. The blue glaze is thin on the edges of the ears and horns. There is a rough area on the top of the right horn which may be a micro chip. I have provided a photo for your inspection. Otherwise it is in very good vintage condition with no cracks. It is stamped on the bottom"Japan" Likely 1950's or 60's. Vintage Hinode Moriage Gold Orange Lustreware Japan Blue Covered Sugar & Creamer
Up for auction is an Antique Moriage designed Blue Covered Hinode Sugar& Creamer trimmed with gold. The inside of the creamer has an o range lustre ware. The orange lustre is around the top of the sugar bowl. The inside of the sugar bowl is a white glaze. Gold gilt covers the handles and accents around the top rims. The beautiful raised heavy moriage design makes up a village scene on the front and a Mount Fuji scene on the back. There are white moriage V birds flying on the cover of the sugar and on the back of each piece. Markings: Hinode Japan. This is beautiful decorative set for the collector. Condition: Excellent. Nice raised Moriage scene. No chips. Flakes, hairlines or repairs. Some crazing on the base and shelf wear on the base rim. Measurements: Creamer- 2 1/2" tall. 4" from end of spout to end of handle. Base is 2 ... more1/4" in diameter. Cover to sugar is 2 1/2" in diameter. 1 3/4" in diameter on the inner ring. 1 3/8" tall to top of finial handle. Sugar bowl- 3 1/4" tall with the cover on. 2 1/2" tall to top of handle curve. 2 3/4" in diameter at scalloped top. Opening is 2 1/8" in diameter. 2" in diameter at the base.
