LUSTERWARE CREAMER & SUGAR SET, ENGLISH, PLATINUM & GOLD, SHELL DESIGN, c.1880
For your consideration is a rarely seen creamer and sugar set done in a combination of Platinum and Gold Lusterware. The outside and handles are a bright shiny platinum silver and the interior is an antique gold. The handles on both pieces resemble a piece of coral. This set has a light. Fine porcelain feel to it, very similar to Belleek china. To achieve the platinum silver and gold look it was necessary to chemically dissolve the platinum and gold and then apply them. Usually with a brush, to the pieces prior to the final firing. It is rare to find the platinum finish in combination with the gold finish due to the high cost of both materials. The creamer measures 3-1/4” inches in diameter from the spout to the handle and stands 3-1/2” tall. The sugar measures 3-3/4” in diameter and is 3” tall to the top of the handle. There are no identification ... moremarks on the bottom of either piece. There were many companies making Lusterware during the time period of the late 1800’s into the early 1900’s and most of them did not mark their wares. Because of the delicate feel of the porcelain and the quality of glazing they appear to be English in origin and would be consistent with that time period. The condition is excellent. There are no chips. Cracks, repairs or staining. There are signs of age related wear to both pieces; minimal on the sugar and a little more on the creamer. THE PICTURES INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEMS AND ARE CONSIDERED AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. I PROVIDE ONE(1) DAY HANDLING. I ALSO SHIP THE SAME DAY THAT YOUR PAYMENT CLEARS PAYPAL. COMBINED SHIPPING AVAILABLE– PLEASE REQUEST AND WAIT FOR INVOICE BEFORE PAYING. Antique Brown Transferware Pitcher Creamer English Staffordshire Ironstone Vtg
This auction is for an antique little pitcher. Probably a creamer in brown transferware. It is English, possibly with the pattern name of Indiana. It is a little less than 4 inches tall and in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has an oriental or asian design. The bottom has the maker's mark which is partly rubbed off and I can't be sure of who made it. Below the maker's mark it says, England, Indiana" I suppose this piece could possibly have been part of a children's set with its small size. I believe ths piece is from the mid 1800's. Email with any questions. Check out my other auctions!

Antique Painted English Porcelain Creamer Cream Pitcher Silver Luster Spode 1830
ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED ENGLISH PORCELAIN CREAM PITCHER- GRAVY BOWL SILVER LUSTER C1820 POSSIBLY SPODE I SHIP WORLDWIDE IMPORTANT BIDDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO BID ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH BIDDER I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE THAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY EBAY. Ebay now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale(see my feedback) However, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an auction or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Also, if you find that ... morethere is more than one item you are interested in bidding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping fee which saves on postage. I never charge a"handling fee" I would rather wait a few days on a payment and extend you the advantage of lower shipping fees than to be paid immediately- not ship- and then be scored negatively by eBay for not shipping soon enough. Offered in this sale is an early English porcelain gravy boat or cream pitcher with hand painted decoration and silver luster embellishing that I believe date circa 1820s or 30s. It is not marked in any way. However, I believe it could be by Spode. It measures roughly 4 1/2" tall x 6 1/4" from handle to spout. The condition is very good. There is a small chip on underside of the base rim and there is a darkened line on the base that is only visible on the bottom, it does not go through. The piece has a nice"ring" to it when you tap it with your finger. I have more than twenty 19th century Staffordshire figur

C1820 Early English Porcelain Imari Twin Handle Cover Sugar Bowl Spode Davenport
ANTIQUE ENGLISH PORCELAIN TWIN HANDLE COVERED SUGAR BOWL IMARI DECORATION PATTERN 446 SPODE- DAVENPORT I SHIP WORLDWIDE IMPORTANT BIDDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO BID ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH BIDDER I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE THAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY EBAY. Offered in this sale is a very nice early English porcelain two handle covered sugar bowl decorated with an Imari pattern that I believe was made by Spode or perhaps Davenport circa 1820. It does not have a makers mark on the base. However, it does have a red painted number 446 which I assume is the pattern number. It measures 5" tall x 7 1/2" wide from the handle to handle. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. Antique Charles Meigh English Relief Molded Salt Glaze 1800s Creamer & Sugar
Antique Charles Meigh English Relief Molded Salt Glaze 1800s Creamer& Sugar Antique English Relief Molded Salt Glaze 1800s Creamer& Sugar Victorian Children’s Seasons A magnificently modeled full size creamer and lidded sugar dating to the 1852 period. Could be a little earlier, as unusually for Charles Meigh, there is no makers mark only an impressed number 30. See"Relief Moulded Jugs 1820-1900" by R Henrywood, plate 122 for the Four Seasons jug equivalent to this same pattern and time period. By adding pure salt to the glaze during the firing technique, the item was made totally durable and waterproof with no risk of leaks, distinguishable by its slightly orange peel feel! The SUGAR measures 6” X 6 ¼” The CREAMER measures 4 ¾” X 5 ½” What makes this item stand out is the quality of molding and sprigging. ... moreSo absolutely crisp with four extremely detailed depictions. The egg and dart molding around the neck is a direct copy from ancient Greek. Roman architecture. This is also shown in the Acanthus leaf decoration at the base of the handle. We adore the four cartouches each surrounded by scrolling leaves. Inside each cartouche is a sprigged figure(this is when the decoration is attached separately by hand) They appear as children all dressed in classical attire each depicting one of the four seasons. We see a crouched girl with corn seed in her hand, the next boy is harvesting the wheat crop, the next boy is seated drinking wine and the final girl is wrapping herself up to protect herself from the Winter wind. Amongst the scrolling leaf design, between each pair of cartouches we see a bird flying above and a snake or serpent climbing towards it. The decoration on the handle and spout is just as decorative with a rams head design. We have not found any chips. Cracks repairs to this set at all. We have looked at these pieces under blacklight to see if there is anything to note and there was nothing found. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions…Good luck and have a gr
