Antique 19th Century Miniature Bisque Porcelain Creamer Cream Pitcher - c.1842
This is a diminutive cream pitcher or creamer done in white bisque porcelain with a collar depicting wheat stalks. Berries and leaves, all done in relief. The bottom is decorated with a ribbed pattern and the handle has a gentle twist. The bottom has a British Registration porcelain pad indicating the pattern was registered between 1842-1867. Approximate measurements are 2.75" tall by 2.25" wide. It's possible this was part of a Victorian child's tea set. There is one very tiny flea bite on the spout and some manufacturing black specks and roughness on the spout. Despite being up to 150 years old. It is in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs and no damage to the elaborate relief design. A beautiful little pitcher. This is a darling. Delicate little creamer. It measures approximately 2 1/2 inches tall and approximately 2 3/4 inches wide at top. It does have some chips- one tiny one in front that you can see in the picture. And a larger one(1/4 inch) in back. There is a very small manufacturer's mark on the bottom- but I can't tell what it is. It is a maroon color. And reads maybe"N I" or"3. This auction is for an antique little pitcher. Probably a creamer in brown transferware. It is English, possibly with the pattern name of Indiana. It is a little less than 4 inches tall and in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has an oriental or asian design. The bottom has the maker's mark which is partly rubbed off and I can't be sure of who made it. Below the maker's mark it says, England, Indiana" I suppose this piece could possibly have been part of a children's set with its small size. I believe ths piece is from the mid 1800's. ANTIQUE HANDPAINTED IRONSTONE THREE COLOR PITCHER OR CREAMER WITH FLORAL DESIGN This is a nice old creamer pitcher. The floral design features three colors including cobalt blue. Green and rose. It measures 4-1/2" tall to the top of the handle x 4' from handle to spout x 2" in diameter at the bottom. It is in good condition just showing a tiny stress pop in the glaze on the thumb stop on the top of the handle. A repaired crack at the base of the handle, and some crazing in the glaze. Estate Find.You are bidding on a creamer.looks to be maybe a sea captain. He has a beard and a hat. This was listed as antique at the Estate Sale, however there are no markings and I can't be sure so I will say it is vintage. Measures 3 1/2" tall and approx 4" wide from the end of handle. One little sliver of glass is off the bottom, otherwise no breaks. I only ship to the USA and only accept returns if the item is not as described. Bottom edge is a litle rough but that is the nature of the piece, not chipped. Decorated with tulips, daisies, and other flowers. Some red is worn on the lip. It has some gold trim on the rim and handle as well. Its an antique with crazing consistent with its old age. Vintage Retro Austria Lusterware Creamer Pitcher
You are purchasing a cute retro creamer or small pitcher. It was made in Austria. It looks to be hand painted. Brushstrokes are clearly visible in the blue and red rectangles. As you can see in the pictures. The orange bands look like lusterware. The rest is more muted and only faintly glossy thanks to the glaze. It's an interesting combination and makes for a very cool piece that could fit in with a lusterware collection or just bring a bit of shine to any table setting. It measures about 4-1/4" high by 3-5/8" across. Not counting the handle or spout. The mark on the bottom looks like a“W” within a container of some sort. Based on the information on this page. It looks like this piece was made by H Wehinger& Co in the early 20 th Century. There is absolutely no damage to this piece. As far as we can tell. No cracks, chips, ... morecrazing or even fleabites on the rim. There are a couple of minor manufacturing flaws. As you might expect. These are all glazed over, so they definitely aren't damage. The orange is missing in a couple of small patches. The black is smudged in a couple of small spots. There's an orange dot near the bottom of the pitcher. This is a vintage creamer pitcher which is hand painted. It is a cream background with yellow. Lavender& pink tulips with green leaves. It is marked on the bottom in green MHK. There are 6 tulips, 3 on each side and each is a different color. It is very pretty and perfect for Spring. It would look great on display or for use. This is an old creamer and it was used. There are spots at the edge of the base. On handle and the tip where you pour from that have the glaze chipped away, however, that is not so noticable due to color. There is one spot on the leaf by the big lavender flower that has a chip like mark. There are some age lines in the glaze. RARE Antique Black Mulberry Creamer Pitcher T Walker Tavoy Vincennes Texas 1850
Just removed from the family estate of south Texas Pioneers Sidbury Family. There is some information on the estate at the end of the listing. A very nice 5.875 inch tall to top of handle by 3.75 inches across base antique creamer from the 1850s. Pattern is the Flow balck Mulberry so prevelant in that era. Several makers had designs that were almost alike. This is very similiar to the John Alcock"Vincennes" pattern but is different. I would say this is more in the line of T. Walker"Tavoy" As stated the condition in very good. There is one small nick on the edge as shown in the last picture. Has a couple of factory errors glazed over(large pin hole. Sidbury(1830-1904) The builder of this house, was born in north Carolina and came with her parents to Sterling Robertson's colony before the Texas Revolution(1836) She married John Wesley Scott in 1848; they moved to Nueces county, where he died in 1867. In 1875, she was married again to builder Edward D. Sidbury. A civic leader and bank Director, Mrs. Sidbury became manager of her husband's lumber company after his death in 1881. This structure was part of the expansion resulting from the ropes boom of the early 1890's. Colonel E. H. Ropes of New Jersey planned to make Corpus Christi a deep water port. He began dredging a channel across Mustang Island but ran out of money and abandoned the project. One of two rent houses originally constructed by Mrs. Sidbury about 1893 in the bluff addition on upper north Broadway. This auction is for a Sandland Lancaster copper luster set including a cream pitcher. Open sugar bowl, and a matching larger pitcher that I am calling a milk pitcher. The creamer and sugar are marked with the first backstamp shown in the photos. The milk pitcher has the mark in the second of the backstamp photos but, this photo is from another piece I have. The mark on the milk pitcher is the same as this one but is too faint to photograph. All three pieces have the number 712 on the bottom which I assume is the pattern number since all three match. The milk pitcher is 4" tall. The creamer and sugar are about 2-1/2" tall. All three pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The lustre has a purple cast under a light.
