Vintage Miniature Creamer and Sugar Set Hand Painted with Gold Trim
This vintage set of creamer and sugar bowl has been kept in a china cabinet for years. I have had no success in finding the manufacturer of these pieces as there are no markings on them. However. In comparing the style and paint used, I have narrowed the age down to 1890's-1930"s. The floral pattern is beautiful. With blues, pinks, and purple, with hand painted gold trim. The creamer measures 3" tall x 2 3/4" wide at the base. The sugar measures 2 1/2" tall x 3 3/4" wide. There is a small hairline crack on the lid of the creamer. There is staining on both pieces, mainly around the curved edge of the sugar and inside both pieces. I suspect this piece is over 100 years old. The creamer has small chips in the blue paint around the top lip.and it appears as though all of the blue paint on the creamer had already worn ... moreoff, leaving a bluish hue around the top. It is a super cute set when you see it in person. Lots of color and personality.

Very Pretty yellow color with gold hand painted floral design. The sugar bowl stands 5" tall with the lid and 6.5" with handles wide. The creamer is just over 4.5" tall and 4.5" wide from handle to spout. I do not know what origin these pieces are from. After very close inspection of these pieces there are a few places of damage. The rim of the sugar bowl has a very small chip, and just below that on the same side there is a little flaking of yellow paint. Yellowing on the inside. No cracks on either pieces. Beautiful old cream and sugar that I have owned for many years. Depicts a European city scene with hand painted floral design enamel. No chips or cracks other than the one sm. place on the inside rim. Gold trim in nice conditon. Not sure of age- from the type of decoration I would think the set is 50 to 70 years old. Absolutely beautiful vintage creamer in gold lustre ware with peach band. Has hand painted abstract floral design in the band. The rich gold glaze is really more of a bronze color. Stands about 3 inches tall. Condition: This creamer is in extremely good condition. There are NO chips or cracks. There are a couple of spots where the glaze isn't even. AND there is one spot on the side that I am not sure what happened. I tried to show this in picture 5 above. It is a spot and I don't know if it was there after the original manufacturing process or if it may have been exposed to something that caused it later. But it is there! Vintage Antique Hand Painted China Creamer Bowl Germany; Pink Flowers Gold Trim!
Neat old creamer? This. I was told, is from the late 1800's but I know nothing about antiques so please see all pictures for a better description and come to your own conclusions. The exterior is a light, minty green, trimmed in gold paint. The inside is white with beautiful pink flowers around the inner edge. Looking down on the piece from the top, the only flaw visible is a small flea chip out of the pour tip, as shown in the second picture. However, when you flip the piece over, you can see two hairline cracks on the exterior. You can't feel them and they don't go all the way thru, but there is one on either side of the spout. These you can see in the 10th and 11th pictures. I can't make out the name of the maker on the bottom.it has been kind of smudged or scratched off over the years but it has a shield and the name starts ... morewith a'we. Below that it is stamped Germany. Overall the diameter at its widest point measures 5 7/8" Which is from the hole where you would hold it at one side and the spout at the other side. At the middle of the bowl, the diameter measures 4 1/2" The height measures about 2" tall and the diameter across the bottom is 2 3/16" Please let me know if you have any questions and I will respond asap and thanks for looking! Up for auction is this antique bone china creamer and sugar made by H& Co. Selb in Bavaria. It is hand painted with beautiful pink roses with green foliage. The handles and rims are painted in gold. The bottom has a crown, then H& Co. Selb, Bavaria and The hand painters signature"Olga Heinberger" There are two numbers impressed in the mold, the sugar has 2693 and the creamer 2694. This set is part of an estate collection, I am selling that was on display in a cabinet for years, behind glass. They were never used! They are in new condition with very little wear no wider than a hairline to the gold at each point. Nippon Maple Leaf Hand Painted Gold Bead Moriage Decoration Footed Creamer
Hand Painted Creamer marked Nippon with the Maple Leaf logo. Stated hand painted. According to the International Nippon Collectors Club website. This mark dates to 1891. That doesn't preclude its use into the early 20th century, but whatever its actual date, the creamer is genuinely antique. This creamer is footed. And bears a rose and rosebud motif which is continued along the top edge with a trailing leaf on the back. The pink& white flowers and green leaves are outlined in raised gold. I believe this is an example of the technique of decoration known as moriage. There is additional gilding around the base, top& handle. There is wear to the gold, especially on the handle, and to a lesser extent at the edge of the spout and on the feet. Aside from that, the decoration is exceptional.
