R S Prussia Cream Pitcher & Sugar Bowl Set Fruit & Roses Antique Porcelain
Offered is an R. S. Prussia cream pitcher and covered sugar bowl made circa 1910. The set has a flared shape with a pedestal base. Ruffled around the rim with a white medallion on the front. Arched handles and a fancy finial. Decorated with pink roses and clusters of fruit. Pears and grapes. The green background has white shadow flowers. The creamer is 5 1/4" wide(spout tip to handle edge) and 3 1/2" high. The sugar bowl is 6" wide and 4 1/2" high to top of finial. The lid to the sugar bowl may be a replacement as it does not fit snuggly but wobbles when tapped. The inner ring is smaller than the bowl opening and the shape is slightly warped. Both pieces have the R. S. Prussia wreath and star mark. The cream and sugar set is in excellent antique condition without chips or cracks. As stated. Antique KPM Set of 6 cups and saucers and cream and sugar Germany 19th
This is for a group of 6 cups and saucers and a matching cream and saucer. These were all made by KPM in the first half of the 19 th century. All pieces are hand painted and have a checkered pattern on them. The saucers are 5 ¾ inches in diameter and the cups are 2 ¾ inches high. The sugar bowl including the lid and the creamer are each 6 inches high. All pieces have a blue KPM mark on the bottom. There is liberal gilding on all of the pieces. DESCRIPTION: This absolutely stunning vintage English cream& sugar set exemplifies the elegance and style that was 1930s Art Deco. Timeless in its appeal. This set looks amazing in traditional or very modern decor! The deep, glossy black is the perfect compliment to the gorgeous gold leaf.all shine with a subtle, interesting pattern. Please keep in mind that these pieces were VERY hard to photograph well. Their shine and my black camera were not a good combination, and it may look as if the gold has black wear marks, but it's only the terrible reflections. For being about 80-85 years old, these really are in very good shape, and you will be proud to own or gift them. Please see below for condition details. DIMENSIONS/SIZE: Creamer is about 2-1/2" tall. And 2-1/4" wide at the base. Sugar bowl is 2" tall, and 3-1/4" ... morewide across the top. CONDITION: These are in wonderful condition- looks like they were hardly used. No chips. All the black glaze on both pieces is smooth and glossy, unblemished except for on the creamer, where there is a bit of gold leaf overpaint at the base of the handle, and one tiny dot of gold on one side, just below the solid gold line, visible on one of the creamer's photos. The gold inside of the creamer is smooth and perfectly glossy, but the sugar bowl's inside does have some fine spoon mark patina to it, but none of the gold has been scratched off. Antique TK Thun PH Leonard Vienna Austria Cream & Sugar Set 1900
For auction today. A cream and sugar service with plate marked Vienna, Austria with the double shield of PH Leonard and the impressed TK mark attributed to Count Thun. The TK mark typically indicates porcelain made in Vienna from 1830-1898 and the double shield represents PH Leonard who imported this porcelain from Count Thun between 1890 and 1908. Aside from a very small chip on the underside of the plate, the set is in excellent condition, with intact gold edging and beautiful pink and blue flowers delicately intertwined with leaves and stems. Sugar is 5" tall, 7" handle to handle, with a 3" base. Creamer is 4" tall to spout and 6" from lip to handle. Plate is 9" long and 5.5" wide, with a light scallop. The creamer is 3 5/8" and the sugar is 2 3/8" high. They are in excellent condition. I don't think they have ever been used. Though they probably date to the 1960's. There are no markings except the letters CT on the bottom of the plastic plugs in the salt and pepper shakers. The entire set is in good condition, and I do not see any chips, cracks or missing lace or flowers.The sugar bowl is 2 1/2" tall, 4 3/4" tall with the cover x 2" across the bottom.
