This is a large antique spatter/ spongeware 2 piece jar. Possible a huge sugar bowl? It is 5 3/4" wide x 9" tall with the lid on. It has a deep cranberry spatter or spongeware decoration over thick white porcelain/ ceramic, with a handpainted, hand drawn Peafowl bird on one side in bright apple green, blue, and mustard/gold, with a black eye, beak, feet, outlined with black, and standing on a thin black branch. It may have been made in Staffordshire England, not sure, in the early 19th century. It is in good condition, but does have chips around the outer and inner top edges from years of use. The base is not a lazy Susan type. There are no chips or damage to any of the pieces. The color is Ruby and a lighter cranberry. The Salt and Pepper shakers weigh about 1/4 lb each, and 41/2 x 11/2. Could not find any information on this set, but was told, that it belong to a friends Mother from the 40's. The tops of the shakers are silver in color.

Antique Early 1800s Staffordshire 8" Octagon Flow Blue Sugar Bowl Davenport Amoy
This is an early 1800's flow blue sugar bowl made by Davenport in Staffordshire England. I believe it is made of soft paste porcelain. It has an octagon or eight sided shape. The mark appears to be one of their earliest. The base is stamped with pattern name"Amoy" along with"Davenport" in capital letters and there is an impressed anchor with Davenport printed around it. The pattern is a very attractive deep flow blue. I have taken several pictures for your better understanding. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have. As to the condition; The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips. Cracks, or noticeable scratches. There are normal rub marks on the top corners. There are two tiny spots on the finish. One looks like it could be a flake off the glaze and the other appears to have been done in ... morethe making. Both are insignificant. The lid has three tiny chips on the corners and a few underneath. The handle on the lid has a small chip mostly on the underside. These are not noticeable without close inspection and do not affect the display. Everything is clearly shown in the pictures. For it's age, I would say it is in excellent antique condition. This sugar bowl is good size. It measures 8" high with the lid on. It is 6 1/4" wide from handle to handle. The top rim is 5 1/4" across from corner to corner and the base is 4 1/4" across from corner to corner. It weighs 1 lb. 7 oz. unpacked. We pack everything very carefully. This is a very rare and unique creamer with lid and sugar in a fabulous art deco style. The background glaze is a light pink sponge over a white body. The hand painted floral is of a geometric style in black. Grays and offset with a deep rosy pink& bright yellow. Backstamp ~ Ridgways. Sunshine Ware. England. And an import stamp for Macy’ in the form of a ship in full sail. I believe this stamp is a symbol for Macy’s original store in New York that is considered their“Flagship” store. Circa ~ I have not been able to find information on this particular Ridgway mark however I have been able to bring in an approximate date of production. Noted is the name Ridgways verses Ridgway. This Sugar Bowl is very decorative with its two handles and lovely finial on top of lid. It is graced on both front and back with a bevy of lush roses. The lid has the same décor with a turned finial on top. The roses are a pink/lavender and have apple green leaves surround. The foot of sugar bowl is fluted. This delicate sugar bowl is about 5" tall from bottom to top of the decorated lid. It is about 5" wide. But 7" wide if you include both handles. Like new even though it is old, as it was stored for most of it's life. This piece is in a color that is very hard to find. This particular color and pattern went out of production in 1946. It is both shiny luminous and delicate. Made by Johann Haviland in Bavaria Germany.

This is an outstanding sugar bowl made in the 1800's. It is made of a very fine see through porcelain material. This shape is well documented as common in the early 1800's. It came from the life long estate of antique dealers. The color of the sugar bowl is white with a glossy finish throughout. It is completely decorated with applied lavender blue cameo figures. These colors look outstanding together. This is an extremely well made piece and a wonderful example of 1800's Chelsea sprigged ware. Because it is such an early piece there are no makers marks. You are bidding on an antique vintage hand painted yellow with gold floral Creamer and Sugar Bowl. I picked this up at an Estate Sale where a lady cleaned out her grandmother's china cabinet. Very Pretty yellow color with gold hand painted floral design. The sugar bowl stands 5" tall with the lid and 6.5" with handles wide. The creamer is just over 4.5" tall and 4.5" wide from handle to spout. I do not know what origin these pieces are from. After very close inspection of these pieces there are a few places of damage. The rim of the sugar bowl has a very small chip, and just below that on the same side there is a little flaking of yellow paint. Yellowing on the inside. No cracks on either pieces. Antique RS Germany blue stamp porcelain creamer and sugar bowl. Hair line crack on creamer. These are great collector pieces! RS Germany was used by the Tillowitz. German factory of Reinhold Sclegelmich from 1914-1945 untill World War II ended its production. My grandmother collected everything from the 1930's. These two pieces are from the 1930's Making the collector pieces 84 years old! Both are in great shape with no chips. International shippers send address and country. Antique pink lustre creamer and sugar bow l ND1917/1918
Beautiful example of antique pink lustre creamer and sugar bowl set. This set is hand decorated and marked with the number 200 on the base of each item. It bears no other maker's mark. The set is in surprisingly fine condition. The interior of the sugar bowl is browned but the exterior is clear and white. There are a couple of very small chips on the interior rim of the bowl from removing and replacing the lid over many years. The lid has no damage and the finial has no repairs. The creamer is a clear white and has one tiny 1/2" hairline crack on the rim that is barely visible. The sugar bowl measures 6" to the top of the finial and is 6" in diameter at its widest section.
