This is a Reinhold Schlegelmilch painted porcelain sugar bowl. It has the R S Germany mark used by this manufacturer between 1910 and 1920. It has delicate pink roses painted on the sides and lots of gold around the rim and the handles. It shows no wear. I have always kept it in a china cabinet on display but it is time to down-size. There is NO crazing. Cracks, chips, fleabites or damage to this piece.

Antique KPM Set of 6 cups and saucers and cream and sugar Germany 19th
This is for a group of 6 cups and saucers and a matching cream and saucer. These were all made by KPM in the first half of the 19 th century. All pieces are hand painted and have a checkered pattern on them. The saucers are 5 ¾ inches in diameter and the cups are 2 ¾ inches high. The sugar bowl including the lid and the creamer are each 6 inches high. All pieces have a blue KPM mark on the bottom. There is liberal gilding on all of the pieces. Antique Leuchtenburg Sugar Bowl w/Lid & Creamer Germany 1895 to 1937
Estate Sale Find Up for auction is a sugar bowl and creamer set from Leuchtenburg Germany. There is very little information available on Leuchtenburg. But I did find that they were a manufacturer of porcelain from 1895 to 1937. The set features a sugar bowl with lid and a creamer/milk jug in a pearly white with a floral design of pink and white roses with yellow and green leaves. The feet and the top of the lid are a pale grey-green color. The edges of both pieces are scalloped and there is some white embossing on the lid and on the body of both. There is one minor flaw– on one handle of the sugar bowl. The little top decoration is broken off(you can see this in photo 2) but it feels smooth and is barely noticeable. This aside, the set is in excellent condition for its age and came from a collection of German/Austrian porcelain that had been ... moreextremely well looked after. Rare and Stunning- Creamer& Lidded Sugar Bowl- Sanssouci Germany; numbered. Absolutely gorgeous green& floral backdrop to a Victorian dressed couple. On the Creamer. They are pictured outside- he is a formal long tailed outfit with knickers and she in her long dress is seated on a bench. The rest of the vase has beautiful bunches, and some singles, of blue, pink, orange, purple flowers; accented with green leaves. It has gold accents on the handle, the edge of the spout and on different sections of the creamer highlighting the green coloring on various sections of the creamer. The sugar bowl has 2 different scences in which the couple is shown. One is standing in front of a body of water with a bridge and the other one she is seated and he is standing. There is some loss/worn of gold trim color on certain small sections of each piece. ... moreOn the bottom of the each rim there are a few tiny rough spots to the touch. They both have the older crown, crossed lines and a large R and C in dark green on either side with SANSSOUCI stamped underneath. It is numbered by hand, 2321-15, and has the word Germany stamped in Red on the bottom of each piece. The symbols on the bottom of the sugar bowl clear and are a little worn off on the bottom of the creamer. The bowl is about 4 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide on the bottom. The creamer is about 5 1/4" at the highest point of the handle and is 2 1/2" wide on the bottom. Beautiful, classy and old this would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Lusterware Sugar Bowl& Creamer Old Roses Leuchtenburg. Germany O ffered for auction: A gorgeous luster porcelain sugar bowl and creamer marked Leuchtenburg(Germany. I believe ca. 1895 to 1935) It is finely decorated with a bouquet of"old roses" in pink, orange, and white, with an embossed rim and foot, highlighted with a green luster(lustre) finish. Both pieces have arched handles with open tops, and the sugar bowl has a lovely lid with an arched finial handle. These two pieces are in very good condition. There is very little wear to the decoration and design; the rose decal is very clear. And the luster is very solid. Both pieces are marked with the a J. S. Germany V back stamp as indicated in the photos. This trademark dates it from 1911-1932. Measurements: The creamer measures approximately 5" wide across handle-spout x 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" across the ruffled base. It is decorated with a large bouquet of pink and white roses with green foliage on the front. And gold trim throughout. The paint does not follow the relief design. The bottom is marked with"G" a crown with 3 circle points and"H" over"GERMANY. According to my internet research this is the mark of Greiner& Herda, in the Bavarian area of Germany, used from 1907 until 1943. This Carl Tielsch and Company. 2-handled, sugar bowl is approximately 5 ¾" tall, to the top of the lid finial) 7 5/16" wide(from handle arc to handle arc) and 4 7/8" deep(widest portion of bowl bulge) It weighs approximately 14.5 ounces and is in very good condition. The lid has 2, pinhead-sized flakes and one, 3/16" chip on the rim bottom. The chip is viewable from the exterior: it appears as a slight rise in the line of the rim's edge. The bowl has 1, pinhead-sized flake on the base rim upon which the piece rest. The gold loss for the two pieces is"minimal" to"medium" the gold is almost solid on the sugar bowl's opening and on the decorative dots surrounding the piece. The gold on the lid, lid finial, bowl handles, and the area surrounding the base all appear to have been originally highlighting ... moreversus a continuous, solid layer. As to how much of that original gold is missing, I cannot tell. Some has obviously worn away, but I do not know how much was there in the very beginning. Vintage/Antique Cream Pitcher and Sugar Bowl, Made in Germany
For your consideration. This is an antique/vintage Made in Germany lusterware cream pitcher and sugar bowl. It has a lovely rose pattern border. There are hints of shades of green and pink in the lusterware. There are also additional flowers painted on the side. There are also gold accents on the front of each piece which are not worn. It's a delicate set, the pitcher measuring approximately 3 1/2" high and 4 1/2" wide. The sugar bowl to the top of the lid measuring just a bit taller. The bowl is approximately 6 1/4" wide from handle to handle. There are no chips. There is a fine line crack in the glaze in the pitcher. It is on the surface only. The mark on the bottom was used between 1898-1923. With the mark more prominent on the sugar bowl. Both pieces are in MINT condition with no chips, nicks, flea bites, cracks, crazing or paint loss. The colors are of peach roses done on a variegated background of mint green and darker shades of green, pale blue blending into a slate blue into a navy blue. This beautiful hand painted rose sugar bowl is made by RS Germany. Which is stamped in green on the bottom. Nice condition; no chips, cracks or crazing. They have Pristine Gold Gilding on the handles and the rims. This came from a collection of other Blue pieces that were painted by M. Boyer-these are not signed but might be by this artist. We acquired a full Collection of Antique Teacups and Accessories just recently from an estate. RS Germany Creamer and Sugar by Reinhold Schlegelmilch at Tillowitz w/Roses
This is a finely decorated creamer and sugar set from the porcelain works of Reinhold Schlegelmilch. They were made in the town of Tillowitz in the Silesia District of Germany. Now the Opole Region of Poland. The"R S Germany" mark seen here is considered part of the larger"R S Prussia" group of marks. This form was probably introduced between 1910 and 1914 and was used until about 1945. From the style of these pieces, it is most likely that they were most probably designed and produced during the 1920's. The decoration is stunning as are so many Schlegelmilch pieces of this period. Each piece measures about 4 by 3(not including the handles) and stands about 2 inches high. The beautiful detailed roses with gilt edges are in excellent condition with no damage or handling wear.
