There is heavy gold trim in very good shape on the base, handle, and knob. The color is a beautifully serene blue grey. The bottom is signed with a gold backstamp on the sugar bowl only. The stoppers on the shakers probably need replacement. The cork looks dried out. I did not try to pull them out. The sugar bowl has a chip on the underside of the lid. Otherwise, I do not see or feel any flaws on this item. I found this fabulous item on a hunt for treasure somewhere in southwest Florida. This item is in originally found. Used condition, from an estate. The sugar bowl measures appoximately 6" x 3.75" x 4.5" tall. C heck out the images below and e-mail me with questions before bidding. Early Shelley China- Ontario Parliament Blds. Creamer Pitcher and Sugar Bowl This early Shelley china creamer is just over 2½” tall and has a 2” diameter base. The sugar bowl is 2” tall with a rim diameter of 3” The age is actually uncertain. But the depiction of the Ontario Parliament Buildings are of their pre-1909 condition(before the 4 th floor addition to the west wing was made) A horse and buggy is depicted in front of the building’s south face. This is probably near 100 years old; it has been packed away for over 25 years. There are no cracks or chip outs(other than a pre-glaze chip at the base on the creamer– see photos) and the gold trim. Antique MZ Austria Creamer & Sugar Bowl Pink Roses Habsburgh China
Here is a creamer and sugar bowl from a local estate. Made of porcelain or bone china. These pieces are by Moritz Zdekauker who made pieces from 1884 to 1909. Each is stamped in green on the bottom with"MZ" a double headed eagle, then"Austria" Also on the larger sugar bowl, in gold paint, is"Habsburgh China" There is also an embossed number that I can't read. Each piece is a long oval that is flattened into an irregular octagon. The sugar bowl is 4 1/2" tall from the bottom to the top of the loop handle on the lid. It has two side handles; the bottom is almost 5" by 3 3/4" The creamer is 2 1/2" tall; bottom is 3 3/4" by 3" I do not know the name of the pattern that decorates these pieces. The border is tiny open purple hearts with a red liner top and bottom. There are arcs of ... moregold bows and stars; the front and back has a gold arbor with pink roses in the center. The handles and top rims have a medium green liner. Both pieces are pristine; no crazing. Cracks, chips, or repairs. Inside of each a little dusty; I have done no cleaning. Handpainted floral, gilded china sugar/creamer set, Nippon
This Nippon-era(1891-1921) white porcelain sugar and creamer set is handpainted and gilded on the top half of the vessels'exterior and sugar bowl lid. Motif is pink cherry blossoms and green leaves. Highlighted with gold, against a grey pebble-image background. Top and bottom edges and bands around middle of both are trimmed with beaded gold, as is the floral and edging trim on the sugar lid. Oriental-style squared handles and lid pull are also gold trimmed. Creamer measures 2 3/4-inch in diameter and 4 1/4 inches from handle to pour spout. Sugar diameter is 3 3/4 inches; handle to handle measures 5 3/4 inches. Both bottoms are marked"Hand Painted- Nippon" with the distinctive laurel wreath surrounding an"M.
