Creamer has 228 P painted on bottom and creamer has a strange painted mark on bottom as shown. Creamer has a chip and associated hairline on rim and a tinker's repair on handle with associated hairline and the sugar has a network of hairline cracks running around base and bottom and a small chip on interior rim. Both have some staining and minor losses to gold- they both still display well. Shipping wt.5 lbs. Antique Silver Incredibly decorated Covered Sugar Bowl
You are looking at a silver covered sugar jar. It's amazingly decorated and very hard to attribute to a maker because the marks are almost microscopic. Please take a look at the microscope photos to see the marks that I could find any help attributing this piece would be much appreciated. I believe it's French only because they often use incredibly small hallmarks. The piece weighs a total of 89 grams and is 3" tall and 3" wide including the handle. It doesn't stand up straight because one of the legs are dented but I'm sure it can be fixed. Also it doesn't stand up at all with the lid open. Still it's a beautiful piece. The large sugar bowl with the lid on is approximately 6-7/8" high& from the end of one handle to the end of the other is about 6-1/4" The creamer is about 5-1/4" high at the end of the spout and from the end of the spout to the top of the handle is about 5-1/4" across. The underside of the creamer has an 8 sided green hallmark with what looks like a B 3 M and the underside of the large sugar bowl also has an 8 sided green hallmark with what I think is a B N M. This set is not perfect but it makes a great appearance and it's ready to use! The thin gold accent lines are mostly worn off and I have tried to take many close-up images to show this. There are some small chips on the inside rim of the bowl that are hidden by the lid. This is a set of 2 items. A sugar container and a creamer. Both are glazed white and are ceramic pieces. Neither have markings from the maker but they appear to be very old. Obviously without markings I can't say for sure how old they are but again they do look old(antique) They are both in nice condition but the creamer does have a small chip on its upper rim. And the sugar holder has a crack along the handle but that appears to have happened in the glazing process and does not appear to have the actual ceramic cracked. This is a clay pottery sugar bowl made in Torquay. England during the latter part of the 19th century. It is marked Torquay Longpark on the underside. There is incised writing(not common) on the bowl near the top. I t says. elp yer zel tu sugar. This translates to, help yourself to sugar. The bowl has a 3-3/4 inch maximum diameter and a 2-3/4 inch top diameter. It stands 2-1/4 inches high. The bowl is in good condition; no chips cracks or scratches. I t has medium crazing due to age. The colors are still vibrant. This is a hard-to-find piece of Torquay ware.

The company Locke Worcester was only in business for a short time during the late 1800's/ early 1900s. See the end of the description for a little history about the company. These shakers have beautiful lids of heavy brass with a quality silver plating. There is a small finial at the top of each silver lid. These are very finely made China. The shapes are wonderful. Each piece is marked on the bottom with the company mark and a small hand written series number. Wonderful. Highly unusual large hand-painted Creamer and Sugar set from 1886. I took these to Antiques Roadshow for an appraisal. The appraiser told me that they were hand painted(really cool thinking that someone in 1886 painted them probably as a hobby! and that even with the slight chip in the Creamer and the resulting hairline crack(see pics) they appraised for $350. This was about 15 years ago. They are both 6" high. The Sugar is 6" wide hand-to-handle. The Creamer is approx 4" wide. This is such an awesome set. This piece is not signed but was probably made in the North-East of England in the Sunderland area. This sugar bowl has wonderful figural satyr head handles and an engine turned decoration. A beautiful Georgian empire shape sucrier that dates to ca. 1820/30's. This piece measures 5" high(12,7 cm) There is a chip on the edge of the lid. Apart from that it is perfect with no other damage: no other chips, no cracks and no repairs or restoration. There is some wear on the inside of the bowl from use. Most likely the bowl is for sugar with no lid and there is a small cream pitcher. Bowl is notched at top-maybe for spoon rest or just decorative. There is a faint gold mark on bottom looks like XY. The flowers are daisy like in purple and green with leaves. And a bit of raised enamel dots? A Magnificent Antique Rockingham Creamer and Sugar Bowl,
For your consideration. A very lovely antique cream jug and sugar bowl. We believe these are Rockingham, although they are not marked. Each has a small pattern number in red, 181" on the base. They are part of a larger Rockingham dessert set that we are putting up this week. The covered sugar bowl is quite large at 7" wide by 6.5" tall. and the creamer is 4.25" tall by 5.5" wide. Absolutely wonderful forms and lavish and beautifully done gilding covering each piece. These were recently de-accessioned from a large Midwest museum. And retain their inventory numbers on the base. They are in very good condition. With no damage and only very minor gilding rub, a few insignificant areas of very slight crazing. These are very glamorous. Beautiful form and magnificent color. Exquisite antique art nouveau gold encrusted porcelain creamer and sugar by Osborne Olsen. A lotus blossom decorates both front and back. With a floral motif encircling below and on lid. The gold continues to inside of creamer, and on both bases. Each is signed in script, Osborne" These are large pieces. The creamer measures 4" tall x 6" handle to spout. Sugar is about 6" tall to top of lid. By 7" wide, handle to handle. Both are in excellent condition- no chips, cracks and I see no tarnishing and extremely minute wear to gold(est. 99%+ intact)

This Beautiful Porcelain Sugar Bowl is made by Nippon. And comes from Japan. It has wonderful Hand Painted Yellow and Green Floral, with gold trim. Sugar Bowl stands 4 1/4" tall and is 5 3/4" from handle to handle. Excellent Condition, with no chips or cracks. Maple Leaf Nippon Date Mark on the bottom dates this piece from 1891. Antique Austria floral sugar bowl and creamer, beautiful!!!
This is an unusual. Hard to find pattern, in fairly good shape, creamer and sugar bowl. It is not without a few little chips on the bottom, does not take away from the beauty of these. Also on the creamer, there is a spider hairline you can see on the inside and all you can see on the out side is one tiny hairline going down one of the indents in the creamer, barely noticeable, does not take away from this beautiful set. I want to mention all that I see and I took pic off what damage I see so use the pic. For my description and if you need to see another pic. A matching antique. Circa 1890's, faux Sevres porcelain sugar bowl and creamer in the manner of Louis XVI. They are cobalt glazed, and hand enamel painted on the reserves with scenes from the life of Louis XIII, and gilt adorned. The sugar bowl wlth lid measures 4-3/4" tall by 5" wide at handles. The creamer is 3-1/2" tall by 3" diameter. The sugar bowl is perfect. The lid is not matching, and has a 3/8" wide edge chip. The creamer has had the spout broken off and glued back.
