Antique China Cream and Sugar, Hand Painted Signed by the Artist, EUC
This is such a lovely cream and sugar set- and a bit of a mystery! There is no backmark. But each piece is signed by the artist M. Bolon. The artist's name is on the bottom of the sugar bowl and the creamer and the initials are inside the lid(Photo 2) The background color is a creamy white, and the flowers are subtle shades of peach and bue and green. It is such a sweet design! The trim is gold- and is in surprisingly good condition. Use the Zoom feature to take a closer look at the beautiful detail. These are generously sized serving pieces; the sugar bowl is 4.5" high and 7" wide and the creamer is 3.5" high and 6" wide. These pieces. Which I beleve to be antique because of the style and the markings, is in very good used condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing.

Antique Hand Painted Porcelain Creamer& Sugar Set. Click picture to enlarge This is an antique Implerial PSL Austria creamer and sugar set. They have been hand painted and the sugar bowl is signed(H.L.17) This was most likely made somewhere between 1914 and 1918. The pieces have a hand painted delicate pink rose design around the sides. There is a gold line that winds around the pattern in an Art Deco fashion. The handles have rippled edges; like a flowing ribbon. They are heavily finished in gold. Which extends to the edges of each piece. The top half is white and the bottom has a pale bluish wash to it. They are both in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, paint or gold finish loss. The sugar bowl is 5" across handle to handle and 2 1/2" tall and the creamer is 4 1/2" wide x 2 3/4" tall. Up for auction is this antique bone china creamer and sugar made by H& Co. Selb in Bavaria. It is hand painted with beautiful pink roses with green foliage. The handles and rims are painted in gold. The bottom has a crown, then H& Co. Selb, Bavaria and The hand painters signature"Olga Heinberger" There are two numbers impressed in the mold, the sugar has 2693 and the creamer 2694. This set is part of an estate collection, I am selling that was on display in a cabinet for years, behind glass. They were never used! They are in new condition with very little wear no wider than a hairline to the gold at each point. It looks Roman or Grecian to me and was hand painted and gilded. There are no chips or cracks however some of the gilding has worn at the top and on the handle. It is stamped and signed but I cannot make out the name. It is 5.5" tall and 4.5" wide to the handle.
