Vintage Estate Samuel Radfords Victorian creamer and sugar bowl made in England
From a family member's estate a vintage Samuel Radford Bone China creamer and sugar bowl in the Victorian pattern. There are hand written 242 marks in gold script on both pieces. The bowl has 3 dots above the 242. The creamer has two stokes in gold to the left of the 242. Both have Fenton at the bottom of the hallmark. Radford had a plant in Fenton. England starting in 1885. From family history and the hallmarks, we think the set is a least 75 years old. The creamer is in very good condition with no gold loss. The sugar bowl in in good shape with no gold loss and a hairline crack 1/2 way around the base(see the picture) Please look at the picture to verify condition. Thanks for looking!

Emery. It is in the Aesthetic Style of the late 1880s, Japonisme style. A complicated(but not fussy) pattern of cherry blossoms, birds, chrysanthemums, and a geometric border. Brown design on a cream-colored pottery. Signed with Emery, a circle with a design, Burslem, England, and Rangoon encircled at top. Condition: There are two internal cracks. But they were original to the firing and do not extend outside. Chip on the inside lip of the lid, not visible when the lid is on the bowl. Here is a very nice set of creamer& sugar bowl that is a white porcelain body with a copper cover over each one and a copper lid on the sugar bowl. They were made in England and has on the bottom Registered Design#877448. I do not know the age of them. I have had them in my personal collection for some time. The sugar bowl measures 4" tall, 4 1/8" across the base, 3" on the top; the creamer is 4" tall, 3 5/8" across the bottom and 5 1/2" from handle to spout. Both are in very good condition, Just the normal wear from sitting around. I didn't use them, just had then stored in a cabinet.

Offered is this made in England. 1920's John Maddock& Sons Ltd, covered sugar bowl and creamer set. This set was purchased at a local estate sale, so I do not know it's history, but my research shows that the Maddock logo used on this set was introduced in 1927 and the logo was changed in the early 30's. That's as close as I can come to dating this set. There are no cracks, chips or repairs that I can see and the gold trim is intact. Please examine my photos carefully as I have shown all four sides of both pieces. This set would make a very nice addition to your china collection. Very pretty vintage Lancaster's Ltd English Ware stackable creamer and sugar bowl set from Hanley England with matching candy dish. Marked with an'A' and also into the base'360' Inscription at the base of the picture: in an old world garden' Gold trim line around the top of both items as well as down the handle of the creamer. Material seems to be old semi porcelain with the garden/river scene. The rainbow of colors that they used is just beautiful! The company was in business from 1900 to 1964. Some newer pieces I've seen say Hanley Sandland which these seem to pre-date that time. The creamer measures 4.75" x 2.5" is in very good condition with crazing. The sugar is also crazed. Has a chip on foot& has been repaired. Dish is slightly different coloring with no crazing. All in all they are a beautiful ... moreaddition to any home. In excellent condition. No cracks or restorations.Gorgeous purple with a hint of copper color hand painted design. Fabulous addition to any collection.
