This is a vintage. Mid-century Noritake covered sugar bowl with lid and creamer in excellent condition. The pattern is called Greenbay, number 5353, and is white porcelain with dark and light green leaves trimmed in gold. The handles all have raised porcelain ribs lined with gold. Both the sugar bowl and creamer are footed and make a beautiful set.

Up for sale is an Antique Livesley Powell Covered Sugar Bowl. Amazingly. This piece features no chips or cracks but does have a craze that has become stained at the base of the bowl. This craze was formed during the original production of this piece and does not hinder, even to this day, the use of this piece. Livesley and Powell was founded in 1845 and then changed its name in 1865 as a new/different partner was taken on. And this miniature or individual creamer and sugar bowl with lid provides an excellent example as to why that popularity has continued for as long as it has. Lefton China imported their products. Primarily from Japan in the early years after WWII. This little cream pitcher and sugar bowl probably date to the 1950s perhaps the 60s. They are small the creamer stands just under 2" tall and is not quite 3 3/8" long. The sugar bowl is about 4" long and is just under 2 1/2" tall. All 3 pieces are in excellent condition. Description Pretty cream and sugar set bearing the authentic red and green R.S. Prussia trademark backstamp of Germany(1905) Beautiful and petite rosebuds are the decorative main pattern. With golden around the melon rib mold rims and a light blue airbrush color at the bottom. Some age and usage wear is noted, and nothing to be unexpected for their age. Some minor chipping is noted around the bottom for the pieces where they sit on the surfaces. Offered for sale is this beautiful antique Bavarian ZS& Company creamer and sugar bowl with lid. This set has a lustre/ pearlized treatment to the pretty ivory coloring and gilt trimmed rim. Handles and knob of the sugar bowl. Condition is great. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. There exists a very minimal amount of rubbing to the gilt on the spout of the creamer. Antique German Cream& Covered Sugar Bowl Attention collectors of beautiful porcelain.I have for sale a creamer and covered sugar bowl made in Germany. Hand painted with purple violets. White hydrangeas and lots of green leaves. Pieces also have gold gilding around the top and the handles. They both sit on 4 stubby legs. Creamer has a chip in the spout and gold gilding loss from decades of washing. Sugar bowl has 1 tiny chip on the inside lip and no cracks but too has gilding loss from decades of washing and use. I think these beautiful pieces are very old. But I am not an expert. My lack of knowledge is your gain. They have been sitting in the basement for over 50 years, just time to pass them on to someone who will love and cherish them. This beautiful hand painted footed sugar bowl is unmarked but it did have a matching creamer that was marked MZ Austria unfortunately my mother-in-law broke it and threw away the pieces. So other than my telling you I have no way to substantiate my claim. The detail of the painted flowers. The pure white of the porcelain, the shape and color of the gold work all point to a quality piece. It measures approx. 6" tall to the top of the lid handle by 5 1/2" across the body handles by 4" diameter at the widest part of the bowl. There are no cracks. Chips, crazing or cut marks. Antique Silver Incredibly decorated Covered Sugar Bowl
You are looking at a silver covered sugar jar. It's amazingly decorated and very hard to attribute to a maker because the marks are almost microscopic. Please take a look at the microscope photos to see the marks that I could find any help attributing this piece would be much appreciated. I believe it's French only because they often use incredibly small hallmarks. The piece weighs a total of 89 grams and is 3" tall and 3" wide including the handle. It doesn't stand up straight because one of the legs are dented but I'm sure it can be fixed. Also it doesn't stand up at all with the lid open. Still it's a beautiful piece. This is a beautiful early 19th century Coalport porcelain Covered Sugar Box with stepped type knob(finial) Pattern 664. It measures approximately 6-1/2" from handle to handle and 4-1/2" to the top of the stepped knob. It is in beautiful estate condition with NO chips. NO cracks, NO repairs, NO replacements and NO restoration. The porcelain body retains a beautiful white shine with over-glaze decoration of a lime green shade and gilt accents. Nippon RARE Buffalo Fine China Creamer, Covered Sugar Bowl & Salt Shaker, 1918
You are bidding on an(almost) Antique Buffalo China Creamer& Sugar Bowl and Salt Shaker dated 1918. Buffalo China company was importing blank porcelain from Japan at that time. And hand painting the pieces for the American market. M. V. McCloskey signed these pieces in 1921 as the artist. A research of the McCloskey name reveals a long, and old history in that area. During the early 1900’s, china painting was a favorite past time of young ladies, so M.V. could have been a woman. More research is required to find out to whom those initials belong. These pieces are rare and pre-date the china premiums given by Larkin Soap Company much later. The floral pattern looks much like the patterns hand painted in Bavaria at that time. But World War I had put an end to German porcelain at that time. I have not been able to find other pieces of this ... morepattern. But an online appraiser believes this was part of a dessert set offered by Buffalo China. Only the salt shaker has a flaw- a tiny hairline crack on side. Z S & Co Bavaria Floral Covered Sugar Bowl
Here is a covered sugar bowl made by Z S& Co Bavaria between 1880-1918. There are gray and light yellow flowers going all around the white porcelain bowl. Around the upper rim of the sugar bowl and the lid is gold filigree. The handles as well as the knob of the cover is accented with gold. It is 3 3/4" in height x 5" long x 4" wide.There are no chips or cracks. There is a manufacturer's flaw on the inner rim that is covered by the cover. I did take a close up of it. VINTAGE COVERED SUGAR BOWL AND CREAMER PINK ROSES MADE IN GERMANY Here is a GREAT Estate sale finds. This is a lovely vintage Made in Germany porcelain china Creamer& Covered Sugar. Each piece is decorated with beautiful pale pink roses. And a center decoration of a bouquet of pink, rose, purple, blue and gold flowers with a backing of greenery. Creamer measures 3 ½" tall x 3 ¼" diameters x 4 ¼" long from front spout to back of 2 ½" high handle. Covered Sugar Dish measures 4" tall with lid on. And 3" tall without lid. It is 5 ¼" wide from edge of one handle to the other and 3¾" diameters. Each has a shiny Luster Ware finish. And is marked German 7 and Germany 10 respectively. Excellent condition, with 1 flea bite size tiny chip on inside rim of sugar dish, and same ... moretiny chip on bottom front of creamer, just under center floral bouquet.

Bavaria, Germany. The backstamp means that it was made between 1920 and 1945. A little about German Porcelain Most pieces of German porcelain possess a manufacturer’s mark. Which can be located on the underside of the dish. This mark is usually unique to the town in Germany and specific porcelain factory where the piece was first fired and painted. Many of these factories ceased production during the tumultuous years spanning World Wars I and II and were often destroyed during that time which is why these pieces are such a special find! The Mitterteich Company existed from 1917 to 2006. During 1867 Ludwig Lindner founded the first porcelain factory in the town of Mitterteich. The facility was later torn down during a modernization process and a new factory hall was built at the same location and dubbed‘Fabrik A’ the name stuck until the factory closed in 2006. Greentown Leaf Bracket Chocolate Brown Covered Sugar Bowl c1901, Indiana Tumbler
Acquired at an estate auction of an antiques dealer. This had a 20 year old $100 price tag on it. I couldn't find a mark, but eventually I figured out it was Greentown's famous chocolate glass with leaf brackets. Lots of mesmerizing swirling colors from light cream to dark brown. Condition: Condition is very good except for a couple tiny chips. Two of the stems that lead up to the top of the lid are chipped at the very tip of each. There is another small chip on the bottom rim of the lid. The last one can't be seen at all when the lid is on. The other two can't unless the lid is examined closely. Offered in this sale is an ... moreantique German porcelain covered sugar bowl decorated with the famous BLUE ONION pattern that was made by Carl Teichert in Meissen between 1882- 1924. It is marked on the underside of the base with the name MEISSEN within an oval above a star. This should not be confused with the Royal Meissen factory that used the crossed swords mark. Teichert was one of several local companies operating in the Meissen area that were granted permission by the German government to produce this pattern which was widely popular at the time and still is to this day. It measures roughly 3 5/8" tall x 3 3/4" in diameter. It has an applied rosebud on the cover that serves as a knob. I do have more than 20+ pieces of Blue Onion from an assembled set from several different factories that I am listing for sale separately on Ebay(see 7th image) If you are interested in more than one item I do offer combined shipping which saves on postage.
