Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a beautiful piece of antique decorative pottery. Condition: The syrup is in excellent condition with no cracks. Hairlines, chips, breaks, or repairs. It does have general crazing to the glaze, which is difficult to see but is there. They have been in her curio cabinet in her home, my grandmothers, my mothers, and mine. The only marking is a purple D on the lip of the creamer. They were used by great grandmother and grandmother. This rare flower shaped creamer and sugar bowl is very dainty and neat. The inside is a yellow color with gold accent. The gold is pretty much worn away. The outside is a light blue-green color. There is what seems to me. To be a stress line in the bowl. I do not think it is a crack. Please see picture 7. There are no other damages or flaws. The bottom of the bowl is marked 137. The creamer appears to have some redish discoloration or staining on the bottom outside. This set standing together measures a little over 3" tall. The creamer is a little over 2 3/4" tall at the point. It is 4" wide from lip to handle. And approx. 2 1/2" wide the other way. The bowl is 2" at the tallest point. It is 5 1/4" at the widest. I don't know much about this cute oddity other than it sat in a china cabinet for years.

Antique Marked Ceramic Cat Creamer-Pitcher
This is a precious antique ceramic creamer-pitcher of an adorable black and white cat with a pink ribbon around it's neck. This vintage creamer came out of an old house in Berkeley. Massachusetts and is incised on the bottom with a 4-point crown that has a flower-effect underneath and then to the left of that is C596 and then above that along the edge is 23. I tried to adjust the image to provide a photo of the crown as best I could. There is a small chip along the edge near the tail that shows up clearly in the 3rd picture I provided from the backside. To the tip of the cats ears measures about 4 3/4 inches. It's hard to give the other dimension but from the outside of the curve of the tail to the outside of the pink bow is about 5 inches. Buyer pays shipping and insurance costs.
