This is a lovely sugar and creamer set for tea or coffee service. They were made in Vienna. Austria and imported to the US by P H Leonard of New York, circa 1908. We are not sure if the sugar ever had a lid. The heavy gold on the flat rim shows no loss or scratching of color normally associated with handling of a lid. These pieces have a tall design, with pretty deep formed waves that extend up from the feet approx. 1" high. The remainder of the height has a four-clover shape. The handles all have fancy designs with raised button accents at the tops and smaller extensions on the inside. The decoration is pale pink beach roses on pastel blue ground, front and back, with pretty painted gold swirls for accets. Very heavy hand-painted gold accent the rims, feet and handles. Here is a creamer and sugar bowl from a local estate. Made of porcelain or bone china. These pieces are by Moritz Zdekauker who made pieces from 1884 to 1909. Each is stamped in green on the bottom with"MZ" a double headed eagle, then"Austria" Also on the larger sugar bowl, in gold paint, is"Habsburgh China" There is also an embossed number that I can't read. Each piece is a long oval that is flattened into an irregular octagon. The sugar bowl is 4 1/2" tall from the bottom to the top of the loop handle on the lid. It has two side handles; the bottom is almost 5" by 3 3/4" The creamer is 2 1/2" tall; bottom is 3 3/4" by 3" I do not know the name of the pattern that decorates these pieces. The border is tiny open purple hearts with a red liner top and bottom. There are arcs of ... moregold bows and stars; the front and back has a gold arbor with pink roses in the center. The handles and top rims have a medium green liner. Both pieces are pristine; no crazing. Cracks, chips, or repairs. Inside of each a little dusty; I have done no cleaning. The creamer stands about 4" tall(the tallest part is the handle top) about 5 1/2" wide, sugar is about 5" wide, 3 1/2" tall with top. From the research i have done. TURN OF THE CENTURY SMALL CREAMER SEMI PORCELAIN GREEN PINK
Turn of the Century small creamer. Pink and green. As I mentioned earlier, the gold trim is showing wear. There is also crazing, but no cracks or chips. It has sand in the porcelain in about 8 spots from the firing process. The creamer measures 5 1/4" at the highest point. By the handle there is a leafing affect off to the left and off to the right on the bottom. On the bottom, it has a bow and arrow in green and says Semi Porcelain above that. LARGE STAFFORDSHIRE PINK LUSTRE WARE CREAMER& SUGAR. 1850, You are bidding on this Staffordshire pink lustre creamer and lidded sugar bowl with a horizontal band of berries and leaves in pink with other leaves in green and yellow. Rococo relief base with raised acanthus on the lower bodies. Pink lustre ware was made by potters in Staffordshire England that include Swansea. Sunderland, and Davenport. These wares were produced during 1835-45 when English potteries were not required to put their names on the pieces. The creamer is in great condition with no chips. Hairlines, stains or repairs. This lovely porcelain creamer and sugar bowl with cover are beautifully decorated with pink roses and rosebuds and gold trim. All three pieces are in excellent condition with no damages. The creamer is 4" wide from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout and 2 3/4" tall to the top of the spout. The sugar bowl is 5" wide from the back of one handle to the back of the other and is 3" tall to the top of the cover. Beautiful example of antique pink lustre creamer and sugar bowl set. This set is hand decorated and marked with the number 200 on the base of each item. It bears no other maker's mark. The set is in surprisingly excellent condition. The interior of the sugar bowl is browned but the exterior is clear and white. There are a couple of very small chips on the interior rim of the bowl from removing and replacing the lid over many years. The lid has no damage and the finial has no repairs. The creamer is a clear white and has one tiny 1/2" hairline crack on the rim that is barely visible. The sugar bowl measures 6" to the top of the finial and is 6" in diameter at its widest section. This color is actually quite hard to find. It was hand painted with 22 karat gold along the handle, spout, and rim. It is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. This beautiful. Stylish creamer is from the Pearl China Company of East Liverpool, Ohio. That company started in 1931 as a manufacturer and distributor and continues today as a distributor of china for many companies. No cracks but there is one small chip on the edge of one tooth on the creamer's rim. Sugar is 2 3/4" tall to rim and 4 1/2" in diameter at the base. The cover has a blue mark on it but it will come off with gentle cleaning. Creamer is 2 7/8" to top of spout and 3 7/8" diameter at the base.
