Octagonal set seems to have silver plated lids. They may be just glass not crystal. They are used with quie a few nicks at the edges but no large chips or cracks. This is a beautiful vintage footed amber glass master salt cellar with sterling silver overlay. This is not the painted kind of overlay. It is thick. It is in excellent condition. The silver goes around the rim and has a beautiful design on the front. It is 3-1/8" long, 2-1/4" wide and 1-3/4" high. The original sticker is still attached, but not in good shape. I can make out 925 and the letters ARGE on top and GARA on the bottom.

We've used these in our Old cupboard for many years and have always gotten compliments. This is a very old pair of green glass salt and pepper shaker set with bright orange shaker tops. Shaker tops are made of metal and show some wear as you can see in the photos. They stand 4-1/2" high. Also included is a short green glass vinegar shaker with grapes decoration around the top. It's shaker top is a redder color than the S&Ps but hardly noticeable in a cupboard. The vinegar shaker is marked wine world 1976. They have a pretty flower like design on them with beading on the rims and pedestal base. They have no chips or cracks that I see and are in decent vintage condition. They have some light surface scratching and are a bit dusty and could use a good cleaning. The silver toned metal tops had a shiny coating on them that is now mostly peeled off. Up for auction is a lot of salt and pepper shakers. Some are pressed glass and at least one is flint glass(hand cut crystal) The last photo show some newer mini shakers I'm throwing in for free. Three cut glass or pressed glass(can't tell) salt/pepper shakers. One has a mother of pearl lid. Possibly silver but not sure. All have glass maker's shear marks on rims(very common and very normal for this era shakers) I don't see any cracks or chips. Lids are in fair condition for the age. Consolidated Glass Pink Condiment Set Quilt Pattern Cased Glass
All I can say is WOW! Up for auction is a beautiful pink satin cased glass condiment set made by the Consolidated Glass Co. The pattern is called quilt. Holder has a metal handle and there are 3 little lidded condiment jars- salt. Pepper and mustard Holder measures- about 7 1/2" tall with the handle and 5 1/4" wide Jars measure- about 2 1/4" with out the lids. Now for the condition it is in: This piece is not 100% perfect- given its age its not really all that bad. You don't see too many complete ones at an affordable price! The bottom rim has some roughness- flea bits and small chips/nicks. There are several scratches. The metal handle and hardware is corroded and has rust-hardware could be changed out if needed) Its pink but the coloring varies- almost like its faded from facing a light source or the sun. The 3 little ... morejars all have some form of roughness on the rims-small nicks/chips and flea bites. One jar seems to be more faded than the other two. The lids are not original- in-fact one just does not sit right as it is too small for the jars opening. There may have been a little spoon with this set at one time but has since went missing. This Item is being sold as"in found" condition and could use a good clean up. I have not attempted this and it will be left up to the winning bidder. I tried to photograph all imperfection to the best of my ability- if you are in need of additional photos please let me know and I will try my best to get them for you. There are no cracks- just the scratches and small nicks/chips on the rims which is common with most older glassware that was actually used for what they were intended for. Antique Victorian Era Salt and Pepper Shakers Opaque Glass Two Tone Pink
This is a pair of Victorian era salt and pepper shakers. They are round with the top portion being vertically ribbed and the lower portion having six lobes similar to the Mt. Washington glass patterns. These are unmarked so we are unsure of the maker. They measure approximately 2 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The two tone pink shade starts with the lighter shade at the top fading into the lower darker shade. They have the same pattern but are not identical in color. Both lids have minor dents and oxidation. The lid rims have minor chips consistent with age and normal wear. There are no other chips cracks or repairs noted. Please see the pictures.
