They are from the early 1900's. They are in very good condition accept there is a small chip on one of the ribs on the pepper shaker. And there are some little flea bites or factory flaws on both. All of the flaws including the chip are rather insignificant as the shakers are in very nice condition considering the style and age, also because they are not all that noticeable. This listing is for a large set of heavy. Antique salt and pepper sets in milk glass or white glass. They are from the early 1900's. They stand about 5 and 1/4 inches tall. The glass is in excellent used condition but the lids have a lot of pitting and ozidizing on them. I do not think they are silver. I do not know the maker's name but they remind of the very old glass patterns like were produced by"Dithridge" at the turn of the century.

Great 1800's Victorian Blue Custard Milk Glass Salt Shaker. This wonderful shaker measures 3 1/4" in height and 2 1/2" at its widest point at the base. I was told it was Northwood but not sure. It has a dainty flower with scroll work pattern and tiny little beading throughout the piece. Not sure if the top is original but it is what was on it when purchased. It is in wonderful condition for its age with only one tiny little flee bite to the base which I could not photograph well. There is some nicks to the glass cap as can be seen in the photo but the blue glass is nice! A must have for any collection! Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

Antique milk opaque glass salt & pepper shakers hand painted original lids
I have for auction this beautiful pair of antique glass salt& pepper shakers. They remain in lovely condition with the original lids; the lids are slightly dented& tarnished but overall condition is great. The glass is opaque but has a slight opalescence when light shines through. Delicate hand painted floral motif on each piece. The lid of the pepper unscrews properly. But the lid on the salt is stuck. I could find no maker's mark on either piece. The salt measures 4 1/8" high, the pepper is 2 5/8" high. Exquisite, highly collectible set. But I do know that they are old. The flowers on these appear to be hand painted. They also have gold paint which a lot of it is worn off. The shakers were possibly manufactured by the Libbey Glass Company during the late 1800s. And they have an embossed fruit pattern on the outside. The shakers include their original tin lids with plastic centers, and they stand approximately 2 7/8" tall. Item Condition: The overall condition of the shakers is excellent. They are very clean and have no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas. You can expect to find the typical flaws of older glass to include airbubbles, strawmarks, and other minor imperfections. The tin lids are complete with a hole in the edge of one lid and light overall tarnishing and wear. The plastic centers are also in top ... moreshape with no flaws outside of standard wear. They are from the early 1900's. They stand about 5 and 1/4 inches tall. The glass is in good used condition with one little imperfection- see pics. The pictures also describe very well the condition of lids. No other chips and cracks, pretty good condition- see pics. I do not know the maker's name but they remind of the very old glass patterns like were produced by"Dithridge" at the turn of the century. On the bottom they are marked 7 and 3. Sweet adorable antique vintage hand painted milk glass salt and pepper shakers. They are a creamy white in color. Pale green towards the base, with delicate hand painted flowers. They are in good condition with no cracks, chips or breaks. If you take off the tops the rim is somewhat rough. This is typical with shakers from this era since they were snapped off the pontil rod when finished. The hand painted flowers do show some paint loss in certain areas. The tops are I believe pewter/metal and do appear to be the original. They do show some wear consistent with their age(pitting, one has a little dent, see picture with arrow on it) All and all, these lovely shakers are in great condition for their age. Antique Victorian salt shakers lot of 6. 4 are milk glass. 1 is EAPG Amber Wild Flower pattern glass and 1 is china or heavy porcelain possibly Meissen. They range from 3 1/4" tall to 3 3/4" tall. The Amber one is badly chipped around the top and one milk glass one has a small chip at the top(see photos) The lids are in varying old used condition. Other than this they are in good condition.

4 1/2" tall and very heavy at 11.5oz. Each. Old opaque white milk glass shakers. Marked JHK. I found these in the 1950's in a Barber shop being used as talcum shakers. The holes have been stretched to accommodate talcum powder. They are very old. The Barber told me that his Dad used them around the turn of the century. They are great looking pieces. Very tall and heavy with lids the color of pewter. Antique EAPG Milk Glass Square Salt Shaker Barberry Pattern
Lovely white milk glass square salt shaker in barberry pattern. The cap is gold in color. I do not think it is brass as it appears to be a softer metal. It has a dome shape that rises to a conical spire. The shaker's shoulders flair to a 2 1/2" square shape that taper to the 1 1/4" base. The shoulders at the top of the shaker have an arched area with a raised barberry sprig. The lower panels have a U shaped paneling with the raised barberry spring. The shaker measures 3 5/8" to the tip of the finial. If you collect EAPG. This is a beautiful example of the glorious patterns that were so important to the industry.
