No hairline breaks on the stick vases and the base has no damage. The bottom of each narrow stick vase has water spots and just below the rim has a very faint water ring. Any flaw mentioned does not distract and is mentioned for accuracy. 100+ years old. Measures 6-7/8" tall. The base is 3-1/2" diameter. Listing includes one vase. Have you ever seen a Arts& Crafts Oak base with slag glass in this design? there are plenty of the all oak bases with out slag glass& also the metal arts& crafts Lamps this design have the slag glass base. So if your after the special one, this is for you. everything on this lamp base is Org. except I replaced the wiring& cord. Look at the great metal work on the shade supports& the Original multiple color swirl Slag glass surround by the Org. finish Oak base. This lamp base proudly stands 15" tall& a wing span of 11" for your shade.the arched feet of the base spread across 7 1/2" side to side. This base has not been messed with or taken apart. So I would say It has the Org glass. One side has the similar one on the opposite side ... moreit almost looks light colored(faded)but the wood is not faded& is still dark. So that's why I put a picture of the inside. For viewing all 4 pieces.the only way to change the glass is to completely take apart the base,which if you look at all the bottom corners it shows that it hasn't been taken apart. 2 out of the 4 metal shade holders have a little piece of wood they mount on& are loose. Came loose from age& just need a little glue to secure them.There are pictures of all 4 side& 1 picture of the little loose piece the has the shade screwed to it added to the very end of the picture slideshow. I will wrap your base extra carefully with lots of bubble wrap for a safe& secure long trip to you. Thank you!

Antique Arts and Crafts Style Stained and Clear Glass Window. This auction is for an antique stained glass window that came out of Chicago. My guess would be that this piece is from around 1910. It features an Arts and Crafts or almost a Frank Lloyd Wrightish design. It's 11-1/4" wide and 29" tall. The glass is all original but the window has been partially releaded and has new zinc on the edges. It's been cleaned and regrouted so it should be good to go for another 100 years. The upper pattern is made up of opaque white granite. An off white opalescent, opaque brown granite and some opaque orange granite glass. The field is clear chip glass and the inner border is the same as the off white in the pattern. The outer border is a very interesting shade of opaque green. Arts and Crafts Mission Stained Slag Glass Lamp Globes
This auction is for a pair of stained glass lamp globes. The slag glass panels are swirled with blue. Turquoise, green and brown colors. A magnet does not stick to the metal so I would guess it is brass. The base of each globe measures 5 inches sqaure, the top opening is 3 1/2 inches square and they are 4 inches tall. Someone has added a gold colored paint to brighten up the finish. There is a trim piece missing from the top of one of the globes. One of the glass panels is cracked. The glass is still intact but you can tell it is cracked. Even with these issues they are a nice set and they are being sold AS IS. Thank you for looking at this auction.

This was found about 40 years too late, as it has the basement effect(this is very weathered) Metal is thin in spots and is very pitted. Unfortunately none of the original finish is left. This would make a great template or could be restored or used for parts. The metal fancy pieces that hold the loops are(the fancy pieces) are salvageable. The round loops that hold the slag glass could also probably be saved. The cap is thin around the edges. The ceiling fixture and chain aren't in very good shape either. Both pieces of slag glass do have damage. 4 panels originally. Have only 2) The lamp measures about 9-1/2" across and the bottom edge measures about 8-1/2" across. 18-1/2" high G. E. looks bronze but is probably copper) lamp which has the old"bumpy" diffused glass held by the copper frame& small rounded brass screws. As shown. would look great with a good looking slag glass) It has no damage, just the patina of age with a few gentle"bumps" at the top corners and edges. All of the glass is intact with no cracks or breaks and the lamp is good, solid and very heavy for its size. I am assuming it is made by"G. E. as the switch indicates or, perhaps, it was just a G. E. switch. The lower edges of the shade measure about 10-1/4" square and the base measures about 4-1/4" square. I think it has its original wiring and cord. Works just fine. it will be shipped as one unit with shade in place.

Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a St. Louis Victorian Home. It has a yellow background with green. Blue and purple accents. There are no cracks or breaks. It is in the original frame which is hinged on one side. The frame has green paint on one side and is unpainted on the other. It is 19.75 long by 26.5 tall and is 1.5 thick. Glass only is 16 by 22 approx. Overall it is in very good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Some glazing putty needs filled in. A Pair of Old Arts & Crafts Period Candlesticks Bronze or Copper with Glass
A pair of Candlesticks with some age to them! They appear to be of an arts and Crafts style and I believe they are made of either bronze or copper. The reason I am unsure is that they are covered in ages of verdigris that forms a lovely old patina. Rightly or wrongly. I have elected to leave the candlesticks in their natural state. the candlesticks have a lovely classical appearance, with four inlaid/mounted beads or globules of green glass in each of their bases. Some surface scratches here and there(not serious) and these show a bright bronze/copper colour underneath. Each candlestick measures 11& 1/4" in height with the bases measuring 4& 1/4" in diameter. I have looked and can't see any maker's stamp anywhere but it may be that there is one hidden beneath the grime! These are a genuinely old pair of candlesticks ... morethat have fantastic appeal. This chandelier or porch lamp c.1900 has four panels of frosted slag glass and is made of brass. It has a wonderful time aged two tone patina and it appears to have never been put in place or wired. The design is all hand chased and hanging chain is in the form of wrapped string or twine. All four of the glass panels are intact but each is chipped around edges as they were all hand cut. There are glass pointed jewels inset in blue and amber. The bottom features flowers and trumpet vine leaves wrapped around a tree branch or a small trunk of a tree. At the top sits a the body of the butterfly with pointed ears. Interesting that the body looks like a rabbit. With ... moremolded round eyes staring out! The tail is more like a lizard. There are holes for antennae that are long gone. Beautifully detailed work. So different! Rare! We have never seen another one! We have pictured some of the cracks in the glass as well as what it will look like just sitting in your house(the last 2 pics) Exceptionally heavy. Sits with an attached metal supporting bracket that comes off of the body on the back for stability. The fireplace screen has to be lit from behind to look its best. As with all stained glass. Put this in front of a large window and watch all the light come through! Or place in front of your fireplace when it is not burning, as the heat will adversely affect the metal as well as the stained glass. A long cast iron bar is screwed in along the back for support that is original to its manufacture. The support bracket on the back is also cast iron and it is adjustible. We could not find any marks. Up for no reserve auction is a set of 3 Antique slag glass panel lamp shades. The round shade has no cracked panels. It is approximately 9.5" tall. 8" diameter at the top and 3.25" at the bottom fitter. The square overlay shade with flowers has 4 panels which are all in good condition. It looks like 2 were replaced at some time. It measures 7" tall, 6" across the top and 5.25" across the bottom. The tall square shade is guaranteed to be Bradley& Hubbard. It is signed on one of the bottom clips holding the glass"Pat'd Oct 20 08" It has 4 amber panels and 4 green panels. My guess is that the glass was replaced in this. Also, as you can see in the last picture, there is some damage to the filigree. I posted nice, large pictures of all the shades. This nice period lamp dates ca. 1900-1915 and manufactured in an era when they could be“wired” for either gas or electricity. It measures 24” tall(16” to the top of the socket) and sports an original 8” x 35” square shade having solid brass riveted frame with steel under structure. The textured opalescent slag glass is all original with no cracks. But a tiny corner loss as photographed. The base is brass plated cast iron with minor rust and it is very dirty and attic fresh. The owner thought it should be re-wired for sale, so that has been done.
