Antique Milk Glass Egg Shaped Shaker with Hen and Rabbit
You are bidding on an antique milk Glass Egg Shaped Shaker. This shaker measures approximately 3 1/8" tall. One side of the shaker has a hen with three chicks around her and the other side has a running rabbit on it. Both images are raised on the glass. The bottom of the piece says"PATS APLD FOR" with the letter"B" in the middle. This piece was made by the Eagle Glass Manufacturing Company in the early 1900's. There are a few flea bites you can feel inside the shaker when the top is off and you run your finger around it. This is a nice early piece. Up for auction is a lot of 6 cut glass/crystal salt& pepper shakers. In this lot is two full sets. And two individual shakers. Vary in size from 3" to 5 1/2" tall. The tallest set still has the labels showing they are Bohemian glass. Made in Czechoslavakia. The others are unmarked. One of the Bohemian shakers is missing the little clear plastic lid. Sterling Silver Top Cut Glass Antique Salt & Pepper Shaker Set -Early Century VG
These have been in the family for many generations and I am told they were from the turn of the century. I'm not sure if that means 1890's or early 1900's. I think they are from Eastern Europe. The glass is cut crystal with three intricate floral designs on each. Along with a rippled line in between each flower, running from neck to base. The tops are both marked"sterling" on the sides. The glass bases are smooth and unmarked. 3 1/4" high. Bases are 1 7/8" in diameter. I ship promptly and am happy to answer any questions.

Milk Glass "Egg" Shakers with Bunny Rabbit and Chicken Design - Eagle Glass
This adorable set of salt and pepper shakers is made of milk glass. They were manufactured by the Eagle Glass Company in the early 1900's. They are in the shape of eggs- similar to the shakers made by Mt Washington Glass. One has 3 rabbits(2 on one side standing on their hind feet. And one sitting on the other side) The other shaker has a running rabbit with ears back on one side and hen with 4 baby chicks on the other. The animals are raised and are actually part of the mold. The company then painted a brown wash over top of the animals to help them stand out from the white milk glass base. They are marked on the base with a capital A surrounded by"PAT'S APLD FOR" impressed in the glass. This is the mark for the Eagle Glass Manufacturing Company. They come with the original metal tops. While it appears the metal tops have ... morethe same number of holes. The holes are larger in one shaker, identifying it as the pepper shaker. There is some paint loss as you can see in the photos. There are also very tiny flea bites INSIDE the rim as I tried to show in the last photo. But they are quite small and hard to see. These flaws are common with the glass shakers. They measure 3 1/8" tall and are about 2 1/2" at the widest. You are purchasing the pair. Reasonable offers will be considered.

They are from the early 1900's. They stand about 5 and 1/4 inches tall. The glass is in good used condition with one little imperfection- see pics. The pictures also describe very well the condition of lids. No other chips and cracks, pretty good condition- see pics. I do not know the maker's name but they remind of the very old glass patterns like were produced by"Dithridge" at the turn of the century. On the bottom they are marked 7 and 3. Miscellaneous lot of 4 vintage salt pepper glass shakers
4 vintage glass salt pepper shakers. The 2 red lids are plastic. One lid has a crack in it. The large ones lid appears to be tin and the smallest ones lid is marked sterling. All glass is chip and crack free, I am not able to easily get the lids off the 2 red ones, so I am not sure of the condition of the glass of the threaded parts on those too and to not want to force the lids off risking breaking them. Collection of 3 cut glass or crystal square art deco style salt/ pepper shakers. All have twist off tops. Descriptions in order of pictures: Small square tierd art deco shaker. Has what appears to be a plastic lid that is splitting and has a brownish tint to it. Marked with a 2 on the bottom. No chips or cracks. Measures 1 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" tall Largest of the 3. No markings, fluted base with what appears to be a tarnished silver top. No chips or cracks. Stands 3 1/4" tall Medium one is all glass or crystal including the top. Square base. Old lids were made of pot metal and basically they just feel apart after many years. The new aluminum ones fit but you need to try it first for a good fit. ETCHED RUBY GLASS SALT & PEPPER 7 INCH TALL
The glass is in excellent condition but unfortunately someone ruined the tops. They were most likely silver plate at one time and they also have a larger hole punched into the top(I guess some one liked their S& P to come out faster. I have no idea if the tops can be fixed or replaced I only bought them at an estate sale because the glass was magnificent. 7 inches tall and the bottoms are 5 1/4 inches around. I would imagine they once had an elaborate holder also.

This is a nice old pressed glass set of Salt& Pepper shakers with sterling silver and mother of pearl lids in a handled stand. The shakers are 3" high X 1 1/2" in diameter at the base. The pattern on the sides is zippers and X's and the bases are ground and polished. There are a couple very tiny fleabites on the sides that do not show; the inside glass rim of the shakers has some chipping; the sterling on the lids has denting. The stand has a bubble in the glass at the top of the handle(from the manufacturer) which does not show in the photos. This item weighs 2 3/4" pounds safely packed for shipment. Here is a set of Vintage Collectible Glass Grapes Salt and Pepper Shakers with Metal Stand. The lids of the S&P shakers and the stand are metal decorated with grapes and grape leaves. The glass shakers are shaped like bunches of grapes. This vintage item is in good vintage condition with no cracks in the glass. There is minor loss of patina finish on the metal parts. The unit measures 4.5 inches tall and the base is 3.5 inches in diameter. The Shakers measure 2.75 inches tall not including the loop hook. The shakers hang on the arms of the base unit. This is a beautiful. Elaborate, and highly decorated shaker. It is about 4"high with lid and about 5-3/8"around. The top is made of copper/brass? It has 10 tiny holes on top and an extra sliding button on top also to open and close the holes. the ultramarine glass is trimmed with gold gilding and white enameling designs. The glass bottom is completely flat. There is a very light ding on the outside rim of the top. you have to look hard to find it. The top screws on and off very easily. 6" Vintage Cut Glass Crystal Sugar Shaker with Sterling Silver Cap and Base
I do not know how old this shaker is. I think it is probably 1920's or 30's. It is cut glass crystal sugar swith sterling silver top and sterling silver, reinforced with cement(weighted) base. It is 6" high. There are no chips, no cracks in the glass. Silver top could use a good polishing. I put sugar into it to see how well it sprinkled and it works well.

These are absolutely gorgeous! I found these at the estate of an antique collector and they were displayed in a fabulous china cabinet. They are unmarked but I believe these to be from the early 1900's. They have a beautiful and uncommon tear-drop shape and they include the original glass topper. There are some minor chips on the pepper shaker lip but you won't notice it because the lid will cover it. Very tiny Knicks on the edge of the salt shaker. These very old shakers were made by Dana R. Alden Boston and there is a date of 1877 on them. The cobalt one has some corrosion and damage to the lid. But the lighter one.the greenish one, is in nicer condition. They each have the inside stirring mechanism and the glass on each is in nice shape except for some roughness on the rim when you unscrew them. They measure about 2.25" high. I will describe the etched design a floral with leaves. These are made of clear glass. I do not see any numbers or a maker's mark. The lids are made of some sort of metal with the top part being Mother of Pearl. There is some green on the inside of the lids. I'm sure a good cleaning would take care of it. I see nothing that I would consider damage.no chips. Cracks or breaks. There are a couple of lines on the MOP part of the pepper shaker, but I'm quite sure that is a natural flaw. The edges of the rim on each have some rough spots. However, I think this is a natural flaw as well. You might notice in my photos that the rim of the salt shaker is slanted.
