Each shaker measures 4" high and ... moreabout 2" in diameter at the widest part. The lids have a couple of very small dents. The salt lid looks like someone couldn't open it, and used some sort of tool to grip the lid, causing little dents on opposite sides of the lid, just above the threads. The salt shaker also has a couple of very tiny flakes at the edge of the base, and the pepper shaker has a little bump just above the bottom, which occurred in the molding of the glass. These shakers were molded, then cut, and there are several very tiny imperfections in the making, which can be seen with close examination using a magnifying glass. Some of these are shown in the photographs, but they are hard to see. If you have any questions. Or need more information, please don't hesitate to ask before bidding. Sterling Silver Top Cut Glass Antique Salt & Pepper Shaker Set -Early Century VG
These have been in the family for many generations and I am told they were from the turn of the century. I'm not sure if that means 1890's or early 1900's. I think they are from Eastern Europe. The glass is cut crystal with three intricate floral designs on each. Along with a rippled line in between each flower, running from neck to base. The tops are both marked"sterling" on the sides. The glass bases are smooth and unmarked. 3 1/4" high. Bases are 1 7/8" in diameter. I ship promptly and am happy to answer any questions.

It measures about 2 7/8" tall. It is in excellent condition overall. There is slight roughness along the top inner edge and a very short reflective line in the same area. All of which are probably in the making. I don't see any other chips or cracks. The opalescence is pretty much confined to the underside. There is a rough spot on underside(pontil? an indent and a small bump near outer edge, all in the making. On the interior there is a relatively large bleb of opalescent glass protruding from the base, obviously in the making. There is a little bit of grime ... moreinside bottom. The silverplate lid has a small split, a few dark spots of tarnish and a few small dings. The issues noted are relatively minor and it is still a very nice shaker. NO RESERVE. Victorian shaker white painted milk glass beaded pattern salt or pepper shaker
A Victorian salt or pepper shaker. It is thick white milk glass that has been hand painted. It also has a raised beaded and scroll pattern. I don't know the maker or the exact age but probably from early 1900's. It is 4 1/4" tall x 2 1/8" at its widest point. It has a raised scroll pattern and a raised beaded design. It is also hand painted with flowers. There are 3 of the same flowers going around the shaker and 3 sets of the beaded and scroll pattern in between each flower. The top screws on and is metal; I'm not sure what kind but it appears to be aluminum. It is in wonderful condition for its age. With no missing paint. There are no cracks. The top opening of the shaker has no chips and is in great condition. There are no dents and no broken holes on the lid and it is still strong. I have 3 other Victorian shakers ... morelisted in different colors and patterns and will combine shipping.
