They rest inside a silverplate holder with bamboo handle and a figural lizard on either end. The holder is marked MFD& PLATED BY REED& BARTON. Along with the number 926. They date from the 19th Century and measure approximately 3 + ½ inches tall by 1 + 7/8 inches across at their widest. The holder measures approximately 4 inches tall by 5 inches long by 2 + ¼ inches wide. They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Antique circa 1891-1900 Northwood Glass Company"Leaf Umbrella" pattern cranberry glass salt and pepper shakers. Each is 3" high and each has its old original stars and stripes type hole designs top screw on lid. Set looks perfect and it appears to me they were never used. The only minor thing is a bruise or glass abnormalty on the top edge of one of the shakers seen only when the lid is removed. Its a trivial issue at best. Cranberry glass MUFFINEER sugar cinnamon shaker EPNS Victorian late 1800s NICE!
Please examine photos. They are THIS item and are part of the description. I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items. This is a nice vintage muffineer in cranberry glass very popular at the turn of the last century. It was blown in mold with 12 panel sides and has a ground polished base. The base is 55m and the total height is 140mm. The top is marked E.P.N.S. for electroplated nickel silver but any plating has long since worn away. The knob on the top is solid but slightly cocked. I see many of these actually missing this knob. It fits snugly on the metal rim capping the glass bottle. There is one 3mm chip on one edge of a flute. There are some minor"flea bite" chips when I run my finger around the bottom edge. A traditional"muffineer" is for sprinkling sugar or cinnamon on things like. Muffins. And ... morethere you have it. Retail antique dealers are offering these for $145 to $175. I see similar examples have SOLD on e-bay for $65 to $85. I am also offering this with: FREE TRACKING. Or sugar shaker, such as this. The 12-paneled glass shaker would have held fine sugar to sprinkle on fruit or cakes. This muffineer is in good condition. With just enough scratches on its bottom to let you know that it is old. The top, with its wonderful pierced design is original to the piece, and does have some wear. Polished bottom, faceted sides. 1890's Antique Victorian Honeycomb Dot Optic Cranberry Glass Barrel SALT SHAKER
Antique. Victorian era, cranberry glass salt shaker, unknown maker, measures 3-1/8" high x 1-7/8" diameter, c. 1890's. The shaker features a barrel shape composed of cranberry glass with a honeycomb optic pattern. The very bottom of the shaker is colorless and just above that there's a little bit of a caramel opalescent coloring within the cranberry. The shaker has a heavy metal lid with plating and a mounted copper collar with plating. Please note, there's overall wear to the plating on the lid and collar. In addition, there's light spotting to the interior of the shaker. Otherwise, the shaker is in Excellent condition with No chips, nicks, cracks or bruises.

Antique Cranberry Colored Glass Sugar Shaker/Muffineer This antique glass sugar shaker measures approx. 4 3/4" high and 2 3/4" in diameter. The cranberry colored glass has a diamond pattern There are no chips. Cracks or repairs noted on this piece; however the top edge where the metal top goes on is rough. The metal top has a dent and the inside shows lots of patina. Check out my! I pride myself in providing only quality and authentic products. I try hard to give accurate measurements. It is a paneled cut glass with 12 sides and a nice ground bottom. The domed cap is silver plate with fancy pierced cutouts for the sugar to pass thru. Color is a wonderful cranberry red shade. And condition is super nice, one tiny flea bite on the bottom found on very close inspection. It stands about 6 inches tall with the cap in place, and cap fits well and stays in place. Or muffineer, in deep cranberry red. The lid is a pierced silver plate with minor signs of age. The glass is 12 panel, with a bulbous shaped base. It stands about 6 1/4 inches tall to the tip of the fancy screw on cap. There are some tiny flea bites on inner screw threads of the glass seen only with lid off and common to this type of antique screw top glass shaker. 2 VICTORIAN CRANBERRY GLASS EAPG 12 PANEL OPTIC MUFINEERS SUGAR SHAKERS This auction is for two Victorian cranberry glass mufineers or sugar shakers. The are a beautiful rich cranberry color with a 12 panel optic design. They each have the monogram GWB cut into the glass with a frosted white backing on a rectangle. They have what I believe to be silver plated lids but they are not marked. The lids are slightly different in design. One has tiny stars and the other has little circles and comma shaped cuts. They measure 6" tall and 2 1/4" across the base. The mouth measures 1 1/2" wide. One is a slightly darker pinkish red color. Also the monograms are cut slightly higher on one than the other. They are in very good condition but do have some roughness minor around the mouth rim. One more than the other(see photo) although this ... moreis common in shakers of this age and is under the rim so not seen with the lid on. There are a few very tiny nicks into some of the panels which are hard to see unless looked at very closely and one of the lids has some tiny dents. These are still both very decorative and usable. The marks on the shakers with the close up of the monogram are fingerprints and wiped off the glass. Thanks for looking.
