This glass globe measures approximately 12" in diameter, and has the'button' where the glassblower sealed the float. This is an authentic float with the sanded markings left between the netting; an the net is entirely made from natural fibers, possibly even hemp rope(whatever material makes up this netting, it's well-worn but still super-strong! Although it's this float is un-signed, it is definitely handmade, and shows the hallmarks of late 19th, early 20th Century handiwork when wooden molds were used to shape these in the glassblowing process. They are from the early 1900's. They are in very good condition accept there is a small chip on one of the ribs on the pepper shaker. And there are some little flea bites or factory flaws on both. All of the flaws including the chip are rather insignificant as the shakers are in very nice condition considering the style and age, also because they are not all that noticeable. This listing is for a large set of heavy. Antique salt and pepper sets in milk glass or white glass. They are from the early 1900's. They stand about 5 and 1/4 inches tall. The glass is in excellent used condition but the lids have a lot of pitting and ozidizing on them. I do not think they are silver. I do not know the maker's name but they remind of the very old glass patterns like were produced by"Dithridge" at the turn of the century.

Lovely Antique Art Deco Hand Cut Glass Salt and Pepper Shakers
A very pretty set of Antique Art Deco Cut Glass Salt and Pepper Shakers. Measure 4 3/4 inches tall. The bases are 4 sided with a slight pyramid shape and a deeply cut design. In very good antique condition. With no cracks. There is one small chip on the bottom edge of one shaker. And two small chips on the bottom edge of the other- please see photos for details. There are a few bubbles in the old glass. But it remains very clear. There is one bubble right on the surface of one shaker. And slight variations in the hand cuts from one shaker to the other. The first set is an antique Art Deco Depression glass salt and pepper shakers in a beautiful shade of pink. Done in a rippled design; in fantastic condition with no chips or cracks; the lids are a white Bakelite. The second pair is even older. Dating from around the 1900's, done to look like a vegatable although I'm not sure which one, maybe a tomato. They're in fantastic condition especially considering their age with no defects. The last is just one shaker and is really old. Dating from before 1900, done in an Oriental design. Great 1800's Victorian Blue Custard Milk Glass Salt Shaker. This wonderful shaker measures 3 1/4" in height and 2 1/2" at its widest point at the base. I was told it was Northwood but not sure. It has a dainty flower with scroll work pattern and tiny little beading throughout the piece. Not sure if the top is original but it is what was on it when purchased. It is in wonderful condition for its age with only one tiny little flee bite to the base which I could not photograph well. There is some nicks to the glass cap as can be seen in the photo but the blue glass is nice! A must have for any collection! Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
