Each shaker measures 4" high and ... moreabout 2" in diameter at the widest part. The lids have a couple of very small dents. The salt lid looks like someone couldn't open it, and used some sort of tool to grip the lid, causing little dents on opposite sides of the lid, just above the threads. The salt shaker also has a couple of very tiny flakes at the edge of the base, and the pepper shaker has a little bump just above the bottom, which occurred in the molding of the glass. These shakers were molded, then cut, and there are several very tiny imperfections in the making, which can be seen with close examination using a magnifying glass. Some of these are shown in the photographs, but they are hard to see. If you have any questions. Or need more information, please don't hesitate to ask before bidding. The caps are marked for Sterling and one shaker is marked for Hawkes with the Trefoil mark. They are both in good used Estate condition showing normal age related wear. One shaker is slightly cloudy. There are no major chips. Cracks or major damage. There is a tiny bit of roughness. The caps are marked Sterling and have a repousse scroll pattern. Please view photos of the actual shakers you will receive. Hawkes cut glass was made by T.G. Hawkes& Company of Corning. New York, founded in 1880. The firm used cut glass blanks made at other glassworks until 1962. Many pieces are marked with the trademark, a trefoil ring enclosing a fleur-de-lis and two hawks. They are in good condition- one shaker has a small chip on a corner of the foot rim. Negligible pinpricks and fleabites throughout the base rims of both shakers. One shaker is faintly cloudy inside. One metal lid is bright and shiny with minimal wear to the plated finish, the other has corrosion, rust and green oxidation. Please review the images. A very pretty set of Antique Art Deco Cut Glass Salt and Pepper Shakers. Measure 4 3/4 inches tall. The bases are 4 sided with a slight pyramid shape and a deeply cut design. In very good antique condition. With no cracks. There is one small chip on the bottom edge of one shaker. And two small chips on the bottom edge of the other- please see photos for details. There are a few bubbles in the old glass. But it remains very clear. There is one bubble right on the surface of one shaker. And slight variations in the hand cuts from one shaker to the other. The lids have neat finials on top. And both do have some corrosion-please note in photos. As well. The lids are chrome plated. A very attractive set and a great addition to your collection. I washed them out with mild soap but some of the pepper residue remains. Perhaps you'll have better luck. Very nice vintage condition. Too! I have looked carefully& can see a few(maybe 3? tiny dings. Up for your consideration is this fantastic salt and pepper set. The set is hand blown and cut glass and the bottom is polished smooth. The bottom edges are beveled. They are quality made and probably made for the upper class deck. They are both hand painted with two flags. I tried to research them. But no luck. One of the flags is blue with a red cross and white star. The other flag is green and looks like it has a letter"A" There is blue trim painted on the top rim and bottom rim, as well as the lid. The lids are all glass. They are roughly 2-1/2" tall. There are nibbles here and there and the inside rims both have a few chips that are not seen when the lids are on. There is also some paint wear. A very nice set of glass salt and pepper shakers. Metal lids. Not sure what the metal is, not silver though. They are in good condition with some evidence of use. But no chips or cracks. They weigh over 7 ounces together and are 3.75" tall. I am not sure of the age of the set. But they came from an estate sale where there were many vintage items. I just thought they were unique and regal looking. Thanks for looking. Up for auction is a lot of 6 cut glass/crystal salt& pepper shakers. In this lot is two full sets. And two individual shakers. Vary in size from 3" to 5 1/2" tall. The tallest set still has the labels showing they are Bohemian glass. Made in Czechoslavakia. The others are unmarked. One of the Bohemian shakers is missing the little clear plastic lid. One of the smallest shakers is also missing the metal lid. One shaker has the lid. But is has come unattached from the shaker(see photo) No chips or cracks. ITEM: This is a beautiful set of salt and pepper shakers. They are cut crystal glass. Very old and look quite nice. Just as they came from the estate. I did not even remove the old salt and pepper. Size: All items shown against ruler or in hand or both in one picture to help you judge size. If you need specific measurements just let me know. Condition: Nice vintage condition as pictured. Crystal Sterling Salt Pepper Shakers Antique Simons Bros Cut Glass Ball Design
Cut crystal ball shaped salt and pepper shakers with silver lids made circa 1900. They stand 2 1/2" high and 2" across. Cut design. Miter cuts down the body all round with notched edges. Cut star on the bottom. Sterling silver caps that pop on. Don't screw. Marked on the lid rims: STERLING with an S in a shield. The mark used by the Simons Bros, Philadelphia between 1840s and Present. A dent in the lid of one. See pics. A few spots of tarnish that needs cleaning. Some pepper residue in one. Needs a second cleaning.

Antique Vintage Cut Glass Salt and Pepper Shakers Pair Metal Lids These shakers are in used condition with very minor chips, So minor we could not capture pictures of them. They have a very simple multi faceted designs on them. The lids are both metal but do not match. They appear to be the same age but do not have the same designs. One lid is in great shape aside from a few very small dents, The other is a little rough. It has been bent on the side which caused a crimp. That crimp is open. The same thing has happened on a small area on top where the holes are. Both lids screw on and off smoothly. No markings on either. Dimensions are 3" tall and base is 1 1/2" in diameter. These extra large shakers measure approximately 6" x 3.25" around flaired bottom. This set will add a touch of class and vintage charm to any table. GA in 1918. they measure 3.25 inches tall and 1.5 inches across the bottom. please see all pictures. they have a beautiful cut glass design. would be perfect in any collection or for actual use everyday. the ball on top opens and closes automatically to prevent clogging. these do work as i have a set myself.
