Was a collector, former museum curator and lecturer on Asian art at the University of British Columbia, Canada. She also played an important role in creating the Canadian Society for Asian Arts which got its start in Vancouver in 1968. Over her lifetime, she collected a fabulous collection of Chinese antiques, mostly snuff bottles, and porcelain. BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE FOOTED AMBER GLASS MASTER SALT CELLAR STERLING SILVER OVERLAY
This is a beautiful vintage footed amber glass master salt cellar with sterling silver overlay. This is not the painted kind of overlay. It is thick. It is in excellent condition. The silver goes around the rim and has a beautiful design on the front. It is 3-1/8" long, 2-1/4" wide and 1-3/4" high. The original sticker is still attached, but not in good shape. I can make out 925 and the letters ARGE on top and GARA on the bottom.

Up for your consideration we have a vintage pair of amber glass pedestal based salt& pepper shakers. They are about 5" tall and 1.5" wide. They have a pretty flower like design on them with beading on the rims and pedestal base. They have no chips or cracks that I see and are in decent vintage condition. They have some light surface scratching and are a bit dusty and could use a good cleaning. The silver toned metal tops had a shiny coating on them that is now mostly peeled off. 19th C. EAPG Pure Rose Amber Mt. Washington Glass Salt Shaker
The form and outstanding color blending from fuchsia to honey amber places this ribbed salt shaker within Mt. Washington’s Rose Amber line of production. It stands 3 7/8th inches tall and the ribs twist slightly to the right. There is base wear. Ebay Listing Page Antique Boston& Sandwich Blown Mold Amber Glass Salt& Pepper Shakers Item Description: Up for auction is a nice pair of antique blown mold amber glass salt and pepper shakers manufactured by the Boston& Sandwich Glass Co. during the late 1800s. The shakers are in the barrel form and they include their original Alden perforated lids with agitator inside one. The shakers themselves are not marked. But they are documented and similar shakers are shown in Barlow and Kaiser's A Guide to Sandwich Glass books. The shakers stand about 2 1/2" tall. And the lid has a patent date of December 25, 1877. Item Condition: The overall condition of the shakers is excellent. They are extremely clean and have no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas. There is some roughness around the top rims as expected though. The lids are ... morein excellent condition with some tarnishing, and they screw on and off easily and fit snug. I found very little info on this design. One source indicated it was made in Czechoslovakia-any help appreciated. The little rascals' bodies are clear glass and the heads are amber. They measure 3 1/8" high and about 1" across at the base. There are no markings. One of the shakers is in very good condition with no damage or repairs found. These three Victorian glass shakers are amber IVT. Blue IVT and maybe the other one is amber diamond quilted. I thought it was IVT, but the ovals are diamonds. Each is enameled with flowers. The blue one has cloudiness in the bottom and the enameled flowers are worn. It is almost 3" tall and has no lid. The small amber one has enameled flowers and a one-piece lid. It is 2.875" high. The tall amber one has enameled floral and berry decoration, a collar and the wrong lid. It is 3.625" tall including the lid. I have some other Victorian shakers listed and will gladly combine shipping by refunding overpayment of shipping.
