Nice antique single shaker stands about 4-1/8" tall. I believe it's opaline. a wonderful purple color with a hint of gray. There are hand painted enamel flowers on one side. The glass is in great condition. no chips and no cracks. The top is metal and shows some wear from age and use. It screws on and off. But sometimes it doesn't stay screwed on. just keeps turning. It is in very good vintage condition. With no cracks, scratches or repairs to the bottle. There is a very tiny chip on the inside rim at the top of the bottle that is fairly hard to see when the top is off. The hand painted floral design is worn is areas but is still in good condition as shown in the photos. The metal top(it may be pewter finished? shows some corrosion and has not been cleaned. There is also an embossed‘ribbon-type’ design around the upper area. Which has bits of the gold paint still evident. There is a gold paint squiggle on the bottom. But hard to tell if it’s a signature mark. It is beautiful to me. But does have a couple of faults. There are chips on each foot corner; the largest goes into the painted leaf area. This beautiful shaker is milk glass shaded from pink to white with a charming hand painted dog(Spaniel? in the grasses. Up for auction is a souvenir salt shaker from the Ohio State Fair of 1915. It is made of clear pressed glass with its original metal lid. The floral design is hand-painted in thick enamel on gilt. And reads"Ohio State Fair 1915. A star design is pressed deeply into the bottom. No marking. This shaker appears unused and has no chips or wear. Measures 3" high x 1" wide at the base.
