These lantern are heavy weight 950 Sterling Silver. The craftsman ship is excellent. They have been stored for years in the original wood box and I do not believe they were ever used. Each stands 3 3/4" in height on a three footed base. They are marked Sterling 950. The top unscrews as pictured for filling. There is still a label attached to the box that reads OKUBO BROTHERS Tokyo. Japan. I believe these were probably brought back from Japan i after World War II. The pair weighs between 59 and 60 grams. They are both in excellent condition. I did not polish and will leave that to the new owner. They will polish up beautifully. Safely packed delivery will be FREE. I am pleased to offer a lovely salt or pepper shaker made by the Dalzell. Gilmore and Leighton Company, ca. 1890. The pattern is known as THRUSH and depicts a bird on a leafy branch. The pattern is only on the front.the back of the ovoid shaker is smooth. I do not have the lid. The shaker stands about 2.5" high. You can see the very crude chipped rim indicative of so many antique shakers that were never ground down or polished. The shaker can be seen on page 58 in"The World of Salt Shakers" 2nd ed. by Mildred and Ralph Lechner where it is listed as"very rare" It can also be seen on page 152 of"The Artistic Glassware of Dalzell. These 2 sets are in good condition. The top on one of them is in poor condition with corrosion(see photo 8) I'm not able to separate the liner from the glass bottles either. I believe this to be an antique milkglass Shaker. Before I washed it. There appeared to be pepper-like residue in the grooves. However based on the number of holes in the screw-on cover. You be the judge. The milkglass is a pale blue. Look closely and see the pattern and on the bottom there appears to be a large number 2. No chips or cracks; the cover seems to be brass and the shaker is approx. 2-1/4" in diameter x 3" in overall height and weighs 100 grams. Winner pays mailing cost.

Mount Washington Glass Egg form Salt Shaker, 1885
For your consideration. We offer a charming Mount Washington salt shaker with hand painted decoration that dates to the last quarter of the 19th century. It is in really good condition. Stands about 2.5" tall. The top unscrews easily. And there is some roughage on the interior rim, as would be expected. We got this out of the estate of a distinguished family from Norwell. Mass who had lived in their house for over 150 years. We got many nice pieces of old glass and other Victoriana that we will be putting up over the next few weeks. Reverse Amberina Glass Antique Muffineer Sugar Shaker
Offered is a rare hand blown reverse amberina muffineer or sugar shaker. According to a local antique appraiser. It is possibly Canadian from the 1950’s. It measures 4 ½” tall and 3 ½” at the widest area. Glass is difficult to photograph. So we apologize for the flash marks and reflections. There may appear to be duplicate pictures. But actually we were photographing it from all sides to get an accurate representation of its condition- which is beautiful! This would be an elegant piece to add to someone's collection. Antique white opaque glass salt & pepper shakers hand painted original lids
I have for auction this beautiful pair of antique glass salt& pepper shakers. They remain in lovely condition with the original lids; the lids are slightly dented& tarnished but overall condition is great. The glass is opaque but has a slight opalescence when light shines through. Delicate hand painted floral motif on each piece. The lid of the pepper unscrews properly. But the lid on the salt is stuck. I could find no maker's mark on either piece. The salt measures 4 1/8" high, the pepper is 2 5/8" high. Exquisite, highly collectible set. Dating from around the 1900's, done to look like a vegatable although I'm not sure which one, maybe a tomato. They're in fantastic condition especially considering their age with no defects. The last is just one shaker and is really old. Dating from before 1900, done in an Oriental design. ANTIQUE CUT GLASS SALT PEPPER SHAKERS SHIP CRUISE LINE GLASS LIDS HP TWO FLAGS
Up for your consideration is this fantastic salt and pepper set. The set is hand blown and cut glass and the bottom is polished smooth. The bottom edges are beveled. They are quality made and probably made for the upper class deck. They are both hand painted with two flags. I tried to research them. But no luck. One of the flags is blue with a red cross and white star. The other flag is green and looks like it has a letter"A" There is blue trim painted on the top rim and bottom rim, as well as the lid. The lids are all glass. They are roughly 2-1/2" tall. There are nibbles here and there and the inside rims both have a few chips that are not seen when the lids are on. There is also some paint wear. A 3" tall beautiful pair of RUBY RED flashed glass ORIGINAL ANTIQUE salt& pepper shakers. Souvenirs from ALTOONA KANSAS. They have metal caps that screw off easily and the sculpted glass bottoms are slightly lavender in color. That is, SUN COLORED PURPLE AMETHYST on the bottom third. These are truly antique shakers.
