PA For your Antique Glass Shaker Collection Details Description: A beautiful light blue colored opaque glass mold blown shaker in the Spider Web pattern. There is six bulging lobes around the circumference. The shaker. Which is colored in opaque light blue or turquoise, has a raised motif of intricate scroll on the entire body. This web like motif completely covers the entire shaker. The design or pattern is raised and is really very nicely done. The shaker has a screw on metal top and a footed based with a recessed center. This is a rather rare and unusual shaker. See page 67 in Mildred& Ralph Lechner's book"The World of Salt Shakers, published by Collector Books of Paducah, KY in 1992 for a similar example. This shaker which is colored in opaque light blue color is shaped like a burlap bale very reminiscent of old cotton bales. It even has raised design depicting the rope holding the bale together. Just a very nice depiction. The shaker is made of mold blown glass and has a light blue opaque coloring. The design showing the bale is really very nicely done. The shaker has a screw on metal top. Which may or may not be original to the piece, but is of the period. This pattern was made by Consolidated Lamp& Glass Company for only one year and as such it is rather rare. Great 1800's Victorian Blue Custard Milk Glass Salt Shaker. This wonderful shaker measures 3 1/4" in height and 2 1/2" at its widest point at the base. I was told it was Northwood but not sure. It has a dainty flower with scroll work pattern and tiny little beading throughout the piece. Not sure if the top is original but it is what was on it when purchased. It is in wonderful condition for its age with only one tiny little flee bite to the base which I could not photograph well. There is some nicks to the glass cap as can be seen in the photo but the blue glass is nice! A must have for any collection! Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

Victorian Pale Blue Milkglass SHAKER pepper salt
I believe this to be an antique milkglass Shaker. Before I washed it. There appeared to be pepper-like residue in the grooves. However based on the number of holes in the screw-on cover. You be the judge. The milkglass is a pale blue. Look closely and see the pattern and on the bottom there appears to be a large number 2. No chips or cracks; the cover seems to be brass and the shaker is approx. 2-1/4" in diameter x 3" in overall height and weighs 100 grams. Winner pays mailing cost.

Victorian shaker blue pattern glass salt or pepper shaker
A Victorian salt or pepper shaker. It is thick blue pattern glass. I don't know the maker or the exact age. It is 3" tall x 2 1/4" at its widest point. The pattern has raised vertical ovals with scrolls and tiny flowers. The top screws on and is metal; I'm not sure what kind but it is not sterling silver. It is in clean wonderful condition for its age. There are no cracks. The top opening of the shaker is rough around the whole area. No major chips but just rough large flea bites. The lid is in good condition too. It has no dents or broken holes. The metal is slightly discolored and it may come off with a cleaning. But it has the right patina now. I have 2 other Victorian shakers listed in different colors and patterns and will combine shipping.

Antique Blue Milk Glass, Oak Leaf Wrapped, Mold Blown Shaker
This is a sky-blue milk glass shaker with an oak-leaf pattern that wraps around. The oak leaves have beautifully detailed venation. From what research I've done via internet. This piece was most likely produced between 1890-1910. Shakers like this were blown into a mold and broken off the pipe at the top lip which was left rough on these antique shakers. The lid covers the roughness. Lid is the original and seems to be either pewter or silver due to it's relative heaviness; it has normal discoloration with no cracks or excessive wear. There are 4 mold lines and it measures 2.75" tall and 2" at widest point. No manufacturing markings. There is one small chip at the base of the shaker(see pictures) No cracks or repairs. This is a beautiful. Elaborate, and highly decorated shaker. It is about 4"high with lid and about 5-3/8"around. The top is made of copper/brass? It has 10 tiny holes on top and an extra sliding button on top also to open and close the holes. the ultramarine glass is trimmed with gold gilding and white enameling designs. The glass bottom is completely flat. There is a very light ding on the outside rim of the top. you have to look hard to find it. The top screws on and off very easily. 4" X 3" is this extra thick. Blown glass, domed: THOMAS'S/ HALIFAX" with heavy embossing up on the shoulder. Slight greenish coloring is visible in the clear glass.I believe, earlier flint glass. When I picked this up recently in an antique shop in Massachusetts it was marked as a Telegraph Insulator.
