The marks on the silver included the lion Passant. King George III duty mark that dated this piece to 1786-1821. One bears a date letter b, the other bears r also a partial maker's mark C. Both measures 6 1/4 inches tall- these are much taller than usual salt and pepper shakers. Will make a distinctive statement on your table! Sterling Silver Top Cut Glass Antique Salt & Pepper Shaker Set -Early Century VG
These have been in the family for many generations and I am told they were from the turn of the century. I'm not sure if that means 1890's or early 1900's. I think they are from Eastern Europe. The glass is cut crystal with three intricate floral designs on each. Along with a rippled line in between each flower, running from neck to base. The tops are both marked"sterling" on the sides. The glass bases are smooth and unmarked. 3 1/4" high. Bases are 1 7/8" in diameter. I ship promptly and am happy to answer any questions.

Vintage cut crystal salt and pepper shakers with silver top
I have two shakers silver caps cut glass very heavy could be a lead crystal 4 inches tall the base is an inch and a half wide. There is some rusting on the inside of the caps one Does have a small ding in it there are no markings on the bottom. The glass has cuttings that makes similar shapes of flowers and they have cuttings all the way around each cap has five holes. you can see through to see which one is salt and which one is pepper. Glass itself is in good shape just the thing on the Cap and the rust on the inside does show some aging. ANTIQUE SQUARE PRESSED GLASS SUGAR SHAKER WITH SILVER ? TOP
Up for bid is a very old pressed glass sugar shaker. It is square and has the same design on all 4 sides. The top could be silver plate, but there are no marks. It has an etched makers mark on the bottom, but I was not able to make it out. It stands 6 1/2" tall and has no major chips or cracks. The bottom is a little rough with use scratches and flea bites and under a black light, is shows a very pale green. Beautiful addition to your collection. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs noted on this piece; however the red glass has worn off in some areas and there are lines on the handle, not sure if they are actual cracks. perhaps on the inside as you cannot really feel it on the outside. There are some other small crackle lines as well on the body of the pitcher.
