But some were found after the group photo was taken, so they are not pictured. These came from private homes. The ... moredate is circa 1910 The vases are 11" high with an elongated. Slender, baluster body, spreading to domed circular base 4" wide, narrowing at the neck 2 ¾" The signature is in green. 1 inch below the mouth and reads as"Leg. It is the signature that Legras used on the production that wasn't cameo or acid etched. Mont Joy-Legras& Cie, Verreries et Cristalleries) Legras produced quite a range of different and original art glass. However a significant part of their production followed the styles of Galle, Daum, Moser, Rene Lalique, Schneider etc. Sometime in the late 1920 Legras’s production of art glass effectively ceased. The glass is in at least two layers. A clear inner layer, and the outer layer with the yellow powdered colored glass added with a hand painted green cascading vine and tendrils design. There are no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the body commensurate with age and use and they would benefit from a professional clean. Not knowing how to best clean this type of glass. I have for auction this beautiful pair of antique glass salt& pepper shakers. They remain in lovely condition with the original lids; the lids are slightly dented& tarnished but overall condition is great. The glass is opaque but has a slight opalescence when light shines through. Delicate hand painted floral motif on each piece. The lid of the pepper unscrews properly. But the lid on the salt is stuck. I could find no maker's mark on either piece. The salt measures 4 1/8" high, the pepper is 2 5/8" high. Exquisite, highly collectible set. EAPG OPAQUE GLASS"Ribbed Base" SALT& PEPPER SHAKERS Up for sale is a vintage hand blown opaque glass shakers. The color is not quite white yet not a custard color either. It is in between the two perhaps because it is somewhat transparent. Especially in the upper half. It measures approx 3" tall including lid. The rim is a little rough, but that is common on these hand blown shakers. The ribs were not polished because they are covered by a lid. The hand painted enamel show only minor paint loss. It does appear though that there may have been a wash of color on the shoulder near neck and on the base. These are only traces of paint there now. And you may wish to wash it off. Part of my grandmother's trousseau(pre-1890) These identical, hand painted ruby glass salt and pepper shakers are unique. Tops are original, and I believe they are pewter. There is no sterling mark and they are heavy, and polish to a shine. There are no scratches or dents. In the photos, black marks are lack of polish. If you must have super polished pix, let me know before bidding. Glass is solid ruby, and not cased. Painted bas relief with daisy-like flowers in white and pink, with mustard-yellow vines and green stems. 1.5" diameter; 2.5" high.

Sweet adorable antique vintage hand painted milk glass salt and pepper shakers. They are a creamy white in color. Pale green towards the base, with delicate hand painted flowers. They are in good condition with no cracks, chips or breaks. If you take off the tops the rim is somewhat rough. This is typical with shakers from this era since they were snapped off the pontil rod when finished. The hand painted flowers do show some paint loss in certain areas. The tops are I believe pewter/metal and do appear to be the original. This is a beautiful pair of antique glass salt and pepper shakers. The bodies of the shakers are white glass. And are hand painted with a gold base and a multi-color floral design over top of it. The top of each shaker has a silverplated architectural-like top. They measure 4.75" tall and are both in great shape some wear to the paint(please see photos) there is no chipping or damage to the glass, and the tops are in perfect shape. The carrier is silverplated and intricately designed with floral details. The bottom of the carrier is marked MERIDEN B. Hand Painted DEPRESSION GLASS ribbed SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS w/Fan Back holder
The holder is painted pale yellow on the inside rim of the base and on the back of the fan. The flowers are painted on the front of the fan. It measures approx. 2 ¾” across. 4” from front to back tip of fan, 1 ¾” high. The salt& pepper are ribbed and have metal lids(silver plate I think) They have flowers painted on one side. Here is a pair of shakers which may be salt and pepper except their tops are the same. Hole size way. The tops are in excellent condition with the same design and the tops are not interchangeable. This set also includes a small figure 8 shaped tray and is also paintedThere is a little green residue left on the threads of the shakers. On the small tray there is a little nic on the bottom of the tray but does not detract from viewing it from the top. There is a beautiful pattern in the shaker top of each.

Beautiful antique set of Victorian art glass salt& pepper shakers in their original Quadruple silver plate tray stand. The bodies of the shakers are optic coin dot art glass along with hand painted floral. The top lid of each shaker is silverplate and original to each shaker. They measure 2 1/8" tall and are both in excellent condition. There is tiny nick under the lid of one shaker and ware to the lid on the salt shaker. The tray stand is silverplated with an intricately designed. The bottom of the carrier is marked ROGERS SMITH& CO. MERIDEN CONN. QUADRUPLE PLATE, and it is in excellent condition. Lot of 3 antique Victorian Era hand painted milk glass shakers with metal tops. These shakers are not without flaws but they do display beautifully and are very deserving of a new home. There is a fair amount of chipping to the glass rims under the shaker caps but the caps still thread on easily and securely.
