Chest has very nice carved feet front and back with bowed top as well as bowed front. It measures approx 22" tall including swivel mirror. 12 1/4" wide at feet, and 9" deep at feet and has 2 small drawers at top and l larger drawer at bottom. Mirror is in fine condition. The small drawers each measure approx 5 3/8" x 4" x 2 1/2" deep. The one on the right has a smaller pull than the others but it appears to have been put on at the same time. Bottom drawer measures approx 9 3/8" x 8" x 3 3/8" deep. Bottom drawer has original lock(no key) and is lined with a silver color paper which appears to be very old. Small Chest or Child's Dresser W/ AMAZING Victorian Decoupage Folk Art Die Cut
Offered here is an amazing. One-of-a-kind small chest of drawers or child's dresser that has been covered with Victorian decoupage of various die cut printed pieces of advertising, greeting cards, etc. I have seen a lot of antiques, and looked on the internet for similar pieces, but I can't find anything comparable to this. This is a great handmade folk art piece that would be the highlight of any room. Despite it's petite size. A great decorator piece to put on top of another chest or table, use as a side table or night stand, put at the end of a hall, etc. Yes. This is covered with hundreds, if not thousands, of small colorful pieces of paper. I've tried to show this in the photos, particularly in the one of the top with the glancing light, and on another the edges of the drawer. Chest measures 22 1/2" wide. 21 3/4" ... moretall, and 12 1/2" deep overall. The basic case is about 21" x 21" x 12" with the top extending on the sides and front, and the small scalloped backsplash adding a bit to the depth. The chest is constructed out of pine. Including the drawer bottoms, and has nicely paneled sides. There is lovely, period paper lining the drawers. The back of the dresser was covered by some previous owner with a piece of masonite and is a newer addition. Please see all the photos. Antique 19th Century Mahogany Chest of Drawers - Dresser - Square Nails
It is an antique chest. The chest has mahogany veneer. The drawer sides and bottom are made of oak. The drawers have square nails and the underside of the drawers are hand chamfered. The interior of the pulls have carved mother of pearl. It is 48 1/2" tall x 21" deep x 49" wide. The chest is in fair used condition. The drawers open and close fairly smooth. The veneer has some warping. Chips and old repairs. The top is loose and has some dings, staining and remnants of tape. Overall, it presents well. A true antique. Offered for sale is this rare 1800's Dresser/ Chest top mirror stand. It just does not get any better than this. This piece has 3 drawers. A mirror that swivels on the 2 upright arms and the entire piece is made of dovetailed oak which has a rich patina. I am not sure you can see it in the pictures but the middle drawer and mirror have a thin light maple inlay around the perimeter. This piece is real craftmanship at it's finest. It has an awesome design with the middle drawer offset from the 2 side ones and the mirror support arms divided and elegantly curved. The whole thing sets on small bun feet. It measures about 27 1/2" tall by 19" wide by 10" deep. I wish I was a better photographer because I do not think these photos do it justice. My husband inherited it from a client approximately 20 years ago. He has since past and I do not know the complete history. It was in exellent condition when I met him and remained that was until we moved to a new home about six years ago. It was sitting over an A/C vent I do not know for sure but I believe that may have dried it out and caused the veneer to start chipping. If the right person knew how to fix or restore the veneer it would be perfect piece. The Green Italian Marble top is in pristiene condition. as are the drawers, legs and ornate brass fixtures. Vintage Salesman Sample Miniature Dresser 3 Drawer Chest Late 19Th Early 20Th C
Antique. Miniature 3-Drawer Chest of Drawers- I believe it is an early salesman sample that was eventually transformed into a child's doll furniture piece. The Drawer Pulls are in proper proportion to the chest. And are uncommon in size and dimension. The rear panel has apparent age and appropriate patina. The drawers are made of wood. Not laminate. The are nailed together and may have been reinforced a long time ago. There is a circular stain on the top that is clearly photographed. The varnish is certainly very old. The cut-out base is in proportion and very well woodworked. The applied decals depict charming children's Kitty Cat and Doggie images and appear to be applied perhaps in the 1950 or earlier.

VICTORIAN Burl Walnut Wishbone Mirror DRESSER& Gentleman's CHEST This elegant Victorian drop front Wishbone Mirror dresser chest and matching Ladies' or Gentleman's chest is constructed of walnut with burl accents. The style is consistent with the period of"Renaissance Revival. Ca. 1860. They both have the original finish, wooden casters and working antique keys. These pieces feature Renaissance Revival/ Rococo elements including serpentine ribbed"carpenter's lace" on the edges and around the dresser's tilt mirror. They have applied hand carved drawer pulls. Escutcheons and other decorative elements in a leaf and flower design. The corners and edges are rounded. And the casings around the drawers and most edges are curved and double or triple ribbed. The dresser has a wishbone tilt mirror on pedestal ... morebase. Handkerchief drawers and three large drawers. There are turned finials on the mirror posts and spindles on the sides of the handkerchief drawers. The three large drawers lock. The chest has an upper cabinet with shelf. This dresser has 2 dove-taliled half drawers over 2 full size dovetailed drawers that are made of solid wood in the inside and are working properly. This mahogany Scottish chest of drawers is an impressive and beautiful piece of furniture. With six spacious drawers, all constructed with hand cut dovetails, this dresser boasts an impressive amount of storage space. The drawer configuration is a two over three graduated drawer configuration with a secret drawer just above the two small drawers at the top of the chest. The ... moredrawers are adorned with Victorian style glass knobs that contrast very nicely with the mahogany of the drawer fronts. There are two beautiful bobbin twist columns going up the sides of the chest giving that true Scottish look to the piece. There are locks with beautiful brass escutcheons, but no key. Perhaps one of the more distinguishing features of this antique Scottish dresser is the fact that it is bow fronted. Finding a bow front Scottish chest with such beautiful barley twist columns is very unusual! This Scottish chest has an abundance of storage space and is an impressive size. It is also in very good condition. There are very few issues which is great from an antique chest of drawers of this age. As shown in one of the pictures. The right bobbin twist column has a small missing section on the back of it at the top. On the left and right sides of the plinth base are some minor age separations. The top and both sides also have a filled in age separation. This tends to happen on solid wood pieces and is purely cosmetic, not structural. Large Antique 19th C DUTCH MARQUETRY Floral Inlaid COMMODE Dresser Chest
Here we a pleasure to offer you this beautiful turn of the 19th to 20th century inlaid Dutch Marquetry Commode. The inlay is superb. Featuring matching floral inlay running across the drawers, spiced up with the original set of bronze handles(hardware) Each drawer has it's own original antique lock. Sides are done in one large scene, a floral arrangement coming out of the large classical urns. Entire piece hides fantasy/ mythological faces within it's inlay(see the detailed photos) Top has beautiful matching inlay as well. Also, please note the quality of the detail, just terrific! I took the photos of the back, and more importantly of the drawer body, so you can see the quality of the secondary wood, construction and dovetailing. Drawers slide in and out like skates, no warping or any such issues. The piece has not been refinished ... moreat any recent point, and colors are still healthy and vivid.
