Beautiful antique Victorian or Eastlake dresser vanity. Marble tops are ivory in color and in good shape. Original ebony drawer pulls. All 4 drawers pull nicely with unique dovetail work. There is also a secret bonus drawer at the bottom that goes unnoticed. The mirror has some silvering in it. Burl wood inlays throughout. Minor wear to be found in places. But nothing terrible. The wood looks to be chestnut, but I am not positive. Great well made piece that will last many more years to come. My apologies for the somewhat awkward photos. This piece is heavy to move on my own. And the lighting was not the best for taking pictures. I am assisting a friend in selling this piece. It has been in their family for a long time. Beautiful Victorian Marble Top Dresser late 1800's-early 1900's. This dresser features a beautiful carved center crest and raised panels. Candle shelves flank each side of the mirror. Glove boxes sit on the marble top and are wonderful for storing jewelry or special things. The heavy 1" thick white marble top. Three drawers with the fourth drawer a secret drawer offers a wonderful hiding place for special things. This dresser is solid and very sturdy and in excellent condition. There are a couple small pieces of trim that have fallen off.

Original marble and casters intact on the base. The tasseled key works all the locks on the drawers which feature period dovetailed joinery. Beautiful Golden Oak Victorian Dresser with mirror. It's 40" wide. 20" deep and about 67" high with mirror. Very nice condition. There are 2 small dark spots on the top which can be seen in photo slightly. Dove tailed construction on the drawers and hand carving on the oval mirror. On the sides of one of the bottom drawers the dove tailing is slightly warped from age and split slightly but the drawer opens and closes smoothly with no effort and is solid. If anything the color is slightly more golden than in the photos. And it is on castors. Mirror is removed easily. This is pick up only. Thanks.

Up for auction is a Victorian drop center dresser. It is special in that it is made of American Chestnut. A species that was wiped out by chestnut blight- very few mature specimens exist today. The dresser is in good condition, with the exception of a small repair(pictured) and some dings from someone's overzealous hammer use. The original beveled mirror is in good shape with some streaking as expected for a 130+year old mirror. The dresser would be a great accent piece, or could be converted to a sink basin. The style is consistent with the period of"Renaissance Revival. Ca. 1860. They both have the original finish, wooden casters and working antique keys. These pieces feature Renaissance Revival/ Rococo elements including serpentine ribbed"carpenter's lace" on the edges and around the dresser's tilt mirror. They have applied hand carved drawer pulls. Escutcheons and other decorative elements in a leaf and flower design. The corners and edges are rounded. And the casings around the drawers and most edges are curved and double or triple ribbed. This fine 19th century dresser has been in the same home since the 1950's and is estate fresh. We believe this dresser to have its original finish, marble and mirror and has its casters intact on the dresser base. The top drawer on each side features a wonderful lidded compartment and the drawers feature period dove-tailed joinery with beautiful carved walnut drawer pulls that resemble buckles. This dresser has a stunning presence with its gorgeous carvings and is very tight and solid and in wonderful antique condition. The old original mirror does show some silver loss and some streaking ... moreas age appropriate and one of the drawer pulls has a chip of wood missing that I have tied to show in the last picture. Gently used Victorian-period furniture. Having burled walnut panel dove-tailed drawers with glass drawer pulls, and three original marble slab tops. Circa 1885-1890's. Two small square drawers at the top. And two large, long drawers below. The piece is on the original four casters(wheels) No mirror- not sure if it ever had one. You can use this as a dresser. Vanity table, or convert it to a bathroom sink/vanity/counter. If you were to do a sink, you'd need to take the drawer bottoms off and somehow keep the drawer fronts on. Also great for storing old linens, clothes, and textiles. CONDITION: Excellent condition ... morewith a few minor scrapes. Scuffs, or scratches on either/both the wood and/or marble- nothing major. As to be expected, it could use a light cleaning and a good polishing before use, if not just to show it some love. Drawers slide as they should. All four casters present, although one keeps popping out of its hole if you lift it too high off the ground. Glass knobs may or may not be the original hardware. It is unfortunate that I have to picture this magnificent dresser vanity in my garage. There is so much clutter that it distracts greatly from this beautiful piece of furniture. Understand that it is for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. It is one of the most magnificent pieces of furniture that you will ever find. The marble is a little pitted but can easily be filled in with some acrylic. This came from a large antique estate in Lenox Mass. We noticed, when we were doing the measurements, people usually line the inside of the drawers with old newspaper. We will leave it in there for the new owner. The newspaper is dated 1963. THIS IS FUN TO SEE! The drawers, have a pinned dove tailed construction. See detailed photo above. To the top center, this is 74" tall, the base is 40" tall to the top of the glove boxes, 40" wide and 19" front to back. AGAIN, THIS IS A VERY NICE AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF PIECE OF AMERICAN FURNITURE! The wishbone mirror frame, is 17" wide and 25 1/2" tall, this is not including the fancy cut out top. This mirror is removable. You just pick it up if you don't need it, and store it away. This mirror also, tilts in and out, and swivels side to side. The 2 glove box drawers, are 8" wide, 14" front to back, and 2 1/8" deep.
