The fabric has been replaced along the way with an antique beige that is all buttoned and pleated. It must have been done in the last 10 years or so as it is in lovely condition. The sofa is all tight and sturdy. The overall size is 68 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 48 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 28 inches deep, 38 inches high to the crest, 23 inches high to the arms and 16 inches high to the seat. The ... morelectern rack is missing the single piece of wood of bottom molding. The lectern opens and closes as desired. It has a gadroon edge. It is finished in a dark walnut stain. I think the wood could be walnut the more I look at it in this dark finish. The overall size is 21 inches square and 35 inches high overall. Each section is 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep, 11 inches high and 12 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is missing a few of the brass tacks, but overall it is complete. Gently used Victorian-period furniture. Having burled walnut panel dove-tailed drawers with glass drawer pulls, and three original marble slab tops. Circa 1885-1890's. Two small square drawers at the top. And two large, long drawers below. The piece is on the original four casters(wheels) No mirror- not sure if it ever had one. You can use this as a dresser. Vanity table, or convert it to a bathroom sink/vanity/counter. If you were to do a sink, you'd need to take the drawer bottoms off and somehow keep the drawer fronts on. Also great for storing old linens, clothes, and textiles. CONDITION: Excellent condition ... morewith a few minor scrapes. Scuffs, or scratches on either/both the wood and/or marble- nothing major. As to be expected, it could use a light cleaning and a good polishing before use, if not just to show it some love. Drawers slide as they should. All four casters present, although one keeps popping out of its hole if you lift it too high off the ground. Glass knobs may or may not be the original hardware. No key, but if you try a few sizes of skeleton/cabinet keys, you're sure to find one that will work the locks. Marble tops have no chips or cracks. No musty odors. From a smoke free home/environment. Cabriolet front legs with hand carved feet. Measurements: height to top of mirror 44 ½” width 21 ¼” height to top of cabinet 38” and depth 16” Very good condition given its age.
