This piece stands 30 inches tall~ approx 2 ... more1/2 feet. 22 3/4 inches across the top/ square. The bottom shelf. At the narrowest point, measures 15 inches across square. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. Local Pick Up is best for this large. Beautiful and well taken care of item. It worries me to ship it as I have seen very few table such as this. However. The way this is constructed, it appears it can be taken apart ~ legs removed and lower shelf removed, for possible shipping. Because of its size and weight. Exceptional Quartersawn oak hotel washstand-super carved--14496
This is certainly one of the best quartered oak carved washstands manufactured during the late 19th century. A fabulous piece that can be used as a dresser in a bedroom. In your living room or entry way, or? Please note the super carved crest in a rather organic motif. This piece was created with large oak stock and is quite substantial. Both the drawer and the two doors are serpentine with original brass pulls. A shaped and beveled mirror in very good condition. The piece is in very good condition with a couple minor veneer repairs on the surface and also some checking to the veneer-neither of these is significant-please see photos. for sale a very nice antique quartersawn oak dresser with original beveled mirror and hardware. dresser is serpentine in the front which is a very desirable and somewhat rare feature. it has a great carved harp for the mirror which hopefully the pictures will show. it has abundant quartersawn flake on the top and all the drawers and dividers. the finish is overall in very good condition. There is a couple of dark spots where i expect someone laid a cigarette. the mirror has never been resilvered and is a bit smokey but is in good condition and quite functional. i would not have it redone as the smokey appearance just adds patina as far as i am concerned. the piece is quite heavy and very solid, no loose joints, wiggles, or wobbles. the drawer joints are dovetail, probably made about 1895-1905. it is a large dresser being 73 inches tall without ... morecasters, 48 inches wide, and 22.5 inches deep. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. i can arrange shipping it that be of benefit to anyone. good luck.

for sale is a very nice serpentine quartersawn oak dresser with an intricate cut beveled mirror housed within its frame. to cut that mirror today with the bevel would cost a minimum of 800.00. at any rate this is a wonderful solid dresser with no issues to report other than the mirror is a bit smokey and has lost a wee bit of silver. it has great carving with much detail. the top is solid quartersawn oak of the highest quality. hardware is all original. the casters are new. the top is serpentine as well as the front. it is 50 inches wide at it widest point. 24 inches deep at the widest point. it is 82 inches tall being 36.5 inches to the top surface of the dresser. it has a claw type foot. i managed to dig this out of an upstairs bedroom set. i have included a few pictures of the bed. very fine antique hanging quartersawn oak shaving stand or wall mount
for auction is a very nice hanging shaving stand. it is a wall mount model which are fairly hard to come by. this piece is of quartersawn oak and has nice carving on the bottom splash under the serpentine drawer. Which is an unusual feature. it was painted and had to be stripped and refinished, which i did a long time ago. i have no place for it anymore. i hung it on a nail i had a limoges charger on just to get some pictures. it of course was hung way too high for practical purposes, if you were 8 feet tall it might have been at the perfect height. it is in mint condition as far as structure and function and is all original. it is about 29 inches long, 13.5 inches wide, and 7,5 inches deep at the most curved part of the serpentine drawer. it is a wonderful and i would say a rare model in great condition. it may be picked up at my home of ... moreshipped at buyer's expense. i would say it can go usps for about 50.00. thanks for looking and good luck. i am starting it for less than i paid years ago. ps. by the way i note the pictures are much darker than the piece actually is. the fourth and the last pictures are a more true representation of it's color.
