From the research we could find it was manufactured from Kents Furniture in Rapids Falls Michigan and the manufacturing plant close in 1901, so it is very old and in prestige condition for its era. it has to be picked up. No shipping. the finish is far from perfect but still a beautiful display piece. i think the wood is oak but i'm not an expert by any means. it has chinese decor on it, three piece folding mirror, cane seat bench matches, the back has 921 stamped on it and i can't find any other markings as to the maker. it has scratches, chips and staining on the deck, some of the chinese decor is broke off and gone. NOTE: I did find the wooden back to the center mirror and it is now included.

Rare Antique Victorian Renaissance Revival Cottage vanity dresser
Up for auction is a beautiful Victorian Renaissance Revival Cottage dresser. Very old and cool. Pictures don't do it justice. Its 81 inches tall, 38 and 1/2 across and 17 and 1/4 out from the wall. Has four big drawers and two glove boxes on top, along with two candle shelves that are on either side of the mirror. The mirror glass was replaced in the 1970s but it tilts and is adjustable. Has worn spots but thats to be expected after over a hundred years. There is a little bit of water marking on the bottom of one of the sides but barely noticeable and easily fixed. Mirror is newer and in good shape but could be secure in place more as it rattles in place a bit with strong movement. I put a small piece of cardboard behind original wood strap and thats easily stopped it. I think it was refinished long ago and is a nice looking piece. The entire piece has been stripped. Sanded, stained, re-stained, multiple coats of sanding sealer hand rubber in between with multiple coats of lacquer. It is all set to go in the boudoir. It is a gorgeous vanity with a 1 inch beveled glass original shapely mirror that is held in place with the brass threaded rods and in between two carved support yolks. The base itself has an ogee bevel edge shapely top, three dove tail drawers with a beautiful graining on the front, shapely shirt and cabriole legs. The overall size is 36 inches wide, 19 inches deep on the base, 32 inches to the top of the base cabinet and 64 inches high to the top of the bevel glass mirror. The bevel glass mirror does adjust back and forth on a swivel. The only thing I can see wrong with it is that there are some old stains on the inside of the drawers that were left on purpose, which give it charm and character. Antique dresser modified to become a bathroom vanity. Has single sink. Backs of the drawers have been modified for plumbing but the rest of the drawers are original. Beautiful wood grain throughout. Dresser is at least 50+ years old. Size is 52" wide by 23" deep. Small cut out on the back bottom side for plumbing access. Handles and drawer pulls are NOT original. Faucets on the sink are included but are not in good condition and should be replaced. Dresser top and fronts are in good condition. Sheraton Federal vanity lowboy dressing table c.1810
This is a vintage vanity aka lowboy dressing table or dresser with a beveled glass mirror attached. I'm not an antique expert by any stretch. But when I saw the hand cut dovetails, I knew this was an old piece. After seeing that I did a bit of research. From that, I think this is Sheraton style dressing table. It could be Federal, but the brass hardware, which appears to be original, looks more like Sheraton. From what I've read, Sheraton and Federal styles of furniture were produced up to about 1820. Attaching mirrors to the top of dressing tables started around 1800. Hence my c.1810 guess at the age. Other indicators of its age are the hand cut dovetails, which put it earlier than 1880; and use of single wide boards, which put it earlier than 1860. Most everything, including the hardware, looks pretty original to me. It is mounted ... moreon small casters, which I don't know to be original. The top does have a crack on one side near the rear. I've been told the wood looks like walnut. I don't know if it's walnut, but it is a hardwood for sure. The piece is 42" wide x 19" deep. The top sits 30" off the floor and it's 60" tall overall. Beautiful antique Victorian or Eastlake dresser vanity. Marble tops are ivory in color and in good shape. Original ebony drawer pulls. All 4 drawers pull nicely with unique dovetail work. There is also a secret bonus drawer at the bottom that goes unnoticed. The mirror has some silvering in it. Burl wood inlays throughout. Minor wear to be found in places. But nothing terrible. The wood looks to be chestnut, but I am not positive. Great well made piece that will last many more years to come. My apologies for the somewhat awkward photos. And could be an interesting bar, server or vessel sink vanity. Hand carved of solid oak in Germany. The original finish is in exceptionally fine condition. Waxed and buffed. Only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its luster. Embossed brass hardware is original, the key still works the lower door lock. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints on this exquisite European furniture. There are minor chips on the edges of the marble top and back splash, which has been polished and sealed to resist stains. From antiques estate! seems to be mahogany, a nice dark wood, with nice patina brass drawer knobs and swivel hardware for the mirror. so much detail work in the carving of the reeded cheval brace topped with the beautiful pineapple finials. Click on photos for close up view! There is a slight overall haze in the mirror's silvering, commensurates with the true turn of century glass mirrors. This is about 18 inches tall x 19 inches wide x 12 inches deep. A couple very minor knicks and a burnt burl spot on the flat surface-see photos. Beautiful wood. this appears to have been gently used. Lovely design. Weighs about 18 lbs.

The serpentine mahogany base is on four bun feet, the elevation with finely figured mahogany veneers. The mahogany mirror uprights are carved as acanthus scrolls, the mirror frame with figured veneers. It measures 34" tall by 31" wide by 12-1/2" deep at center. Antique Mahogany Dressing Table Vanity, 1890 Era, Local Pick Up Only
This beautifully shaped vanity is very old and in very good condition for age. There are limited minor imperfections from age. I was never sure about the type of wood but now I believe it to be mahogany. It is lighter weight. There are two side drawers on the step-up section and one larger one in the lower center. It has a lower shelf stretcher. No repairs have been made that I am aware of. No oil. It has always been kept in a corner, avoiding sunlight. Late 19th century Vanity with mirror for restoration
You are looking at an antique vanity with the original mirror. some of the draw pulls are missing but the ones there are original. the casters are original and work. It measures 45 inches long. 31 1/2 inches high and 19 1/2 inches deep, including drawers. It needs some TLC and it would be a wonderful vanity. I'm trying to find the original screws but might not be able to. Not sure who made it but numbers are on the rear. The mirror is perfect. EMPIRE DOLPHIN dressing, shaving, vanity MIRROR, mid 19TH c mahogany? 33" tall
This beauty stands a whopping 33" tall. Is 28" wide, and 11.5 deep. She has lots of chips and a patch job. Please view pictures carefully. I have tried to take pictures of all of it so you can see them. I think the top it is mahogany veneer. The dolphins are 1" thick, 6.5" wide, and 21" tall. The side drawers are 6.25 wide; middle drawer 9.5. From bottom to top of shelf is 6" Mirror[which has been replaced] is 16.25 wide and 21 3/8 tall[this is sight for mirror, not including the frame] When I bought it years ago I made sure the key worked and opened it and locked it several times before buying it. Key has always been in drawer that doesn't lock, now for the life of me I can't get it to unlock! Fine dovetail joints. Obviously built by a true craftsman. Signs of a paper label on back.
