It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Antique Big Victorian Bedroom Decor Furniture Dresser 1850 Mirror Brush Set
Hello- This is a very special True Victorian Hairbrush Mirror from at the LATEST 1850! The Amber-Yellow glass indicates this. And is never reproduced. When looking into the Etched Amber Glass, Your face is surrounded by the flowers just like my camera is if you can imagine, and your face has an amber glow. I placed it on the 50's mirror so that you can see the difference in the glass's. The big round mirror is part of the set. The Victorian Curling is genuine, I'm not positive of it's age, But these were used even into the 1920's. The brush measures approx. 10" long x 3 1/3" at the widest. And has a wooden brush area to hold the bristles. The metal is a bit tarnished from age, a magnet does not stick to it and I don't know what kind of metal it is. There is some loss to the etching of the flowers, but not ... moretoo much and is still in wonderful condition. The curling iron is approx. 10" long. With a thin crimping rod for"pin curl" size curls. The round mirror has some tarnishing from age. A magnet does not stick to it. The mirror measures approx. 12" long x 9" at the widest. Wonderful wood salesman sample washstand from an estate in Iowa. The wash stand measures 12 1/2" tall. 7 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" deep. The washstand has a drawer and double doors on the bottom. They all work well. The top has a little spindle holder for a towel. This piece is in very good condition without damage. There is a HEAVY solid slab of beveled edged white marble that is 48" wide x 22" deep x 1" thick and does not just rest on top but sits in its own custom perfect fit carved edged seat. This piece of marble weighs about 100 lbs itself. The first drawer opens to a solid piece of burl or birdseye maple. That is a sign of quality as that was an expensive wood. The two drawer pulls in the top drawer are original. There are four larger pulls that were used in the two lower drawers but are missing pieces. I have purchased and installed four reproduction pulls and will include the pieces of the originals in case you ever want to try to locate matching one but even a nice set of Victorian Eastlake teardrop pulls that do come up often would work if you don't like these repros. MINIATURE ca.1880's Victorian Wooden DRESSER with Three Drawers: Doll Furniture?
For bid is an old. Victorian era wood doll house or TOY or DOLL DRESSER with three drawers with brass pulls! This wonderful piece of miniature furniture features wonderful details and very old-looking wood with some signs of age and wear. The entire item is made with very nice detail, very similar to a full sized piece of furniture. This chest of drawers stands just over 9 1/2 inches tall by about 6 1/2 inches deep. The widest measurement is over 12 1/2 inches. I’m guessing this item dates from about the 1880’s. It may have been made in the United States or somewhere else. I’m really not sure! I believe this probably dates to the Civil War era. It is about 21 inches tall. 23 inches across and 9 1/4 inch deep. The mirror is a replacement and there is a lovely piece of matching wood grained wood to the back of the mirror. There is one drawer.
