This is a beautiful American victorian 6 drawer marble top chest with the original finish and fine detailed wooden drawer pulls. The chest is circa 1880. The chest is a good size that measures 47" wide. 21 1/4" deep, and 31 1/2" tall. The chest has the original white veined marble and original brass roller. The marble has a small 6" surface run that does not go through to the back. There are two upper drawers that are 20" wide and 6" deep. The two lower drawers are 41" wide and 8" deep. The drawers feature an incredible matched set of 6 original period pulls in the Anglo Japanese Geisha Pattern probably manufactured by Russell& Erwin. English Mahogany Dresser circa 1880
This is a wonderful English antique mahogany dresser from circa 1870-80's. It has round solid mahogany drawer pulls. 4 larger drawers and two side by side drawers up top. Dove-tailed joinery and solid mahogany make it a great buy, and a good looking one at that. It measures 49 3/4" wide by 47 3/4" high and is 19" deep. It has a great patina and would look stunning in any bedroom.

This is a beautiful example of well cared for UN-restored Victorian Chest on Chest with Bonet Top/ Shiffa Robe. This is made of solid mahogany and is in wonderful condition for it's age. It does show some minor wear here and there but overall is excellent. The chest measures 82 inches high. 37 inches wide and 22 inches deep. This listing says will not ship. This is an incredible walnut 11 drawer gentlemen's chest or highboy circa 1880. I think the chest is European but I can't decide. The chest is quite tall at 63" 43 1/2" wide, and 20 3/4" deep. All hardware is original and outstanding. The finish has a wonderful aged patina. The chest needs 7 drawer stops and a small piece of trim attached. No cracks or chips on the marble top. Small stain on marble near mirror. One drawer pull darker than the others. Silver on mirror is intact however it is aging. STUNNING WILLIAM AND MARY CHEST- DRESSER- FROM H.&S. POGUE - CIRCA 1880's
It gets harder and harder to find truly old and truly unique items. Things with the beauty and craftsmanship that is impossible to reproduce. This chest is both. The structural integrity is still there- strong and sturdy. This William and Mary style chest has every detail you can dream of-a trestle bottom with barley twist legs- floral inlay that is simply eye watering.I might also mention that every drawer has a different floral medallion surrounding it's lovely original hardware. There is also a band of tailored inlay framing the top. That same banding runs down the sides. There are seven heavy dovetail drawers(two smaller up top and five full length) The upper two have a velvet insert. I have also photographed the interior of the drawers because it is evidence of the quality work done many years ago. This dresser is American made and ... morewas originally sold at H. S. Pogue in Cincinnati. OH. The store originally opened it's doors in 1863. I believe this dressing chest to be Circa 1880's. There is a wonderful crazing to the old finish that is stunning. PLEASE view all of the photos- as you must see to get any idea of the amount of detailing there really is in this piece. The only issues I can think to mention- is that there is a couple of surface spots in the finish on the top- pictured) and it also appears that someone had to cut a little niche' above one of the keyholes(someone probably locked and lost the key at some point. Each drawer has a brass framed key hole- I do not have the key. I am also not sure if this is Rosewood or Mahogany.This beauty measures 57 1/2" high x 38 1/4" wide x 22 1/4" deep. The original label from Pogue's is still on the back. This is also a numbered piece- stamped 1161 A- and then there is a number 22 also stamped into the wood. Antique Mahogany Vanity W/mirror Circa 1880
This vanity I acquired from my grandmother about 40 years ago but that doesn't even begin to date it. It had originally belonged to her grandmother. It was built originally in the late 1800's. I dated it based on what could be found for it's style and that my grandmother remembered it when she was a young child. My grandmother was born in 1885. It came by horse and buggy from St Louis in 1898. It has had a couple of changes since then. One was new drawers in the 1930's and the other was a new mirror after arriving here as the original broke during the trip. The vanity will be shipped in one or two boxes. It has several small screws which will allow the legs to be removed as well as the drawers and mirror. It is a very simple task to reassemble and all pieces will be marked to be sure they are in the right place. The vanity ... moreis quite strong and the drawers slide easily. I would live to keep the piece but am needing to sell most things due to an upcoming move to much smaller space.
