Made just like the old ones which were on the antique oak dressers, washstands, and all sorts of furniture ... moreof the time. The little wooden wheels are 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter, and the stem is 1 and 1/2 inches long, and the caster sleeves are just under 1 and 1/4 inches long. Regarding the caster sleeves, some of you may not need to replace this part(which is usually in your favor) as long as the casters will fit firmly in your existing sleeves. You will receive 4 casters and 4 sleeves, as shown in the photographs. These are a nice way to replace old, damaged, rusty, or simply lost ones. Many of the older pieces, which have shorter legs, just don't look right without the added 1 and 1/2 inches that these will raise the piece up off the floor. A good investment for a small price!
