I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1920 and 1940. The chest has cabriole legs that taper slightly towards the bottom. Dating from the 1870s, it has burl panels all over, hand carved crest on the very top, five different style shapely mirrors, rose quartz on the drop center and two top columns, four small drawers, one large drawer on the base and a hidden drawer on the very bottom. The burl panels are all picture frame molded on the drawers and on the inside of the drop center. It has oversize candle shelves. In my over 50 years in the business, I don’t believe I have owned this model even though I have had my share of drop center dressers.

The chest is in amazing condition, with very ... morelittle sign of wear at all. There is one small area on the top of the right glove box where the finish is a bit worn, but with a little oil, this should clean up nicely. The chest has the original finish and the mirror has the original glass intact. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. There is a small sticker remnant on the mirror frame as well. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1900 and 1920. The chest has straight legs that taper slightly towards the bottom, with original casters.

Antique Completely Restored Oak Hotel Washstand with Mirror Chest Dresser No Res
You are bidding on a hotel washstand that has been completely restored by a professional refinisher. It is in more or less perfect condition now. It is finished in a medium oak color with minwax provential stain. Finished with several coats of Sherwin Williams sand& sealer and two coats of Sherwin Williams top coat water proof lacquer. The entire piece of furniture has been sprayed and sealed good, including drawer bottoms, back and bottom of the piece. The solid brass has been cleaned and lightly polished with jewelers rough. The finish is hand-rubbed and it looks like it has just be waxed. The bevel mirror is original, has some distortation because of age. The towel bar including the bar itself is all original. The base comes apart from the towel bar and mirror for easy transport. As you can see the back looks just about as good as ... morethe front. Antique Marble Top Dresser Chest Beveled Mirror Oak
Being offered here is a vintage three drawer dresser with exquisite architectural lines and hardware. Please view pictures for details. We are not sure if the wood is walnut or oak. The overall height of this chest measures 66 ½" tall and overall 38 3/8" wide. The marble top measures 17 ½" deep and is 38 3/8" wide. The dresser is 17" deep and 36 ½" wide. The beveled glass on the mirror measures 29 ½" wide and 23 ½" tall. The wheels make this furniture stand 2" off of the floor. One of the knots in the wood on the backside has a whole in it. We did not notice any cracks in the wood on this chest. It has wonderfully old patina and the brass hardware is stunning on the burl finish of the dovetailed drawers. Here it is: Something that I’ve never seen in more than 40 years in the antiques business. It’s a triple beveled glass mirror walnut dressing ... moremirror that dates from around the 1890s era. It is really. Really unique. It came from England, and they’ve had some really nice unusual pieces made over the years. This one has a swivel mirror that sits down inside two brackets in the center, and on the left and right sides are what I call hatbox doors, but they are carved compartments with open fretwork on the sides, clamshell carving in the back, a place to put a lamp on the top, and plenty of storage. Then, on the base, there are four handcut raised panel burl walnut dovetail drawers in a drop-center wooden frame, with a big, bold applied bracket base. Someone has put really big roller tracks inside so it rolls really easily, and I’m guessing this was used in a store at one point. On the top is the most unusual part of the piece. On the Victorian metal brackets on both ends, there are dressing mirrors of beveled glass that will flip around completely so it’s closed up. Or, you can flip them around, stand in front, and get a side view, front view or back view of yourself all at once, for that triple mirror effect. This is a very nice walnut dresser with wishbone mirror. As far as we know it is all original. It has been owned by one family for the past 70 years. We do not know the history of it prior to that. The piece is in very good condition with exception of a crack on the top of the right hand glove box and a couple dark stains on the top of the dresser. As you know. Any antique furniture will have minor nicks. We have not tried to repair anything, but did apply a good furniture oil to the entire surface. Acorn pull handles. Offered for auction is this nice large walnut mirror frame that attaches to the top of a chest of drawers. Two walnut supports with brass turn screw attachments support the mirror frame(no mirror) The supports have screw holes in the bases of them to be screwed down to the top of the chest. Mirror can be angled up or down with the brass adjustment handles. Frame has nice parallel carved reeded lines all around and the dimensions are outside. 35 1/4" x 29 1/8" Inside, 30" x 24 1/2" Weight is about 10 lbs.

Great little child's primitive chest of drawers or vanity. Looks to be all original and has wheels at the base. There is writing on the back of chest and one of the words I can make out is'Buffalo. 3 wide drawers and 2 short ones at the top. There is a mirror which has primitive carving around it. Pulls look to be original. Could be used for a large doll. Condition: The bottom drawer does not open-it feels sealed shut. I tried opening it by taking out the drawer out above it and pushing from behind(because I didn't want to brake pulls) But it would not budge. Offered for sale is this rare 1800's Dresser/ Chest top mirror stand. It just does not get any better than this. This piece has 3 drawers. A mirror that swivels on the 2 upright arms and the entire piece is made of dovetailed oak which has a rich patina. I am not sure you can see it in the pictures but the middle drawer and mirror have a thin light maple inlay around the perimeter. This piece is real craftmanship at it's finest. It has an awesome design with the middle drawer offset from the 2 side ones and the mirror support arms divided and elegantly curved. The whole thing sets on small bun feet. Solid mahogany. Mirror needs to be re-silvered. Just a rare and magnificent chest of drawers with outstanding detail. On one side of the gallery the little brass ball and brass spindle are missing on the very front. See pics. We've owned this fine chest of drawers for many years but our tastes have changed so we decided to sell it. The original paint is amazing on this black cottage pine chest of drawers with matching mirror. Hand painted designs of gold and a deep brown colors make it very special. The two upper drawers also come in very handy for storage. It's very ornate and pretty. Condition: pretty good. Used condition for a 100+ year old chest of drawers. Wear to paint from use that includes fading in places. Chipping, crazing. Water marks etc. Some scuffs. Chips and wear in general to the chest. All common from years of use. If you want a new and mint chest. This isn't it. We collect primitives and it IS that! Really nice. Works well, drawers stick some my most old chests. Note: One replaced knob that I found off another of the period chest. ... moreJust like the others but I had to paint it to match. Also a hole is drilled through one of the top smaller drawers which is really hard to see. But it makes a unique primitive lock when a nail is pushed into it.
