The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

Being offered for sale this Victorian Walnut Marble Top Three Drawer Chest with Carved Pulls and Oval Decorative molding on the drawer Fronts circa 1875. This lovely chest measures a total height of 34 3/4 inches. Total width of 38 1/4 inches and total depth of 18 3/4 inches and weighs approximately 95 lbs. We believe the white and grey veined marble top to be original and is in fine antique condition but does show some slight usage and character marks and a bottom rim chip that is common for marble of this age. The three large storage drawers each offer raised oval decorative molding and carved pulls with period dove-tailed ends. And all the locks are intact but we do not have the key, and this chest has its casters intact on all four feet to allow for easier moving within your home. Gorgeous carved solid walnut Gentleman's 6 drawer dresser chest original finish
This is a beautiful example of a Gentleman's dresser or chest. Early Victorian era and style. The sides and front of the dresser are solid walnut, as are the dove-tailed drawer fronts. With the added beauty of burled walnut oval panels. The black and brass teardrop drawer pulls are old and not reproduction, but not original to the piece. There probably was either a tw o- post earlier brass handle or a carved pull. T he finish is original. It has two vanity boxes on top. And the dresser is finished off with a small wood pediment bet ween the vanity boxes. I estimate this chest to be from the 1880's. Which makes it one hundred and thirty years old. It has had very good care throughout its' life. And is in excellent condition, with just wear due to age and usage. The burl veneer is all intact. None missing-which is incredible for ... moreits' age! There is one slightly lighter ring on the top and a few scratches on the bottom panel. But nothing noticeable. There are four drawers-the two in the center are slightly less deep and the top and bottom ones are a little deeper. Due to the design of the chest. There are carved and turned supports up the front corners of each side. Ending in a spoon-carved small corbel on either side. This piece has more character than most of the Victorian dressers I've seen and was probably a high-end piece in its' day. There is a key that came with the dresser, that fits the locks-but, they won't turn, for the most part. So, it could be made to lock, but, at the moment, it won't. The brass locks are all there. The measurements are: 41 inches wide by 47 inches high by 17 inches deep. I am happy to take and send more photos. If you are interested. The dresser can be picked-up. A very fine antique. Circa 1870's, carved walnut Renaissance/Neo Grec marble top pier mirror. There are incised lines with the original gilt decoration. Very imposing carved crest and finials, and base, with palmettes. The unit measures 9'4" 112" tall by 37" wide by 13-1/2" deep. The mirror measures 71" tall by 23-1/4" wide. Excellent condition: original finish, walnut without chips or crack. The original back support for the stand with mirror frame is missing, and replaced with plain wood boards. The marble is without cracks, chips, or stains. The mirror has no damage, two minor backing spots.

This is a rather uncommon piece of late Victorian furniture. A carved Walnut lock side lingerie chest. Locksides(sometimes called Sidelocks) were. Although uncommon by themselves, were generally executed as larger chests of drawers, more typically a dresser or chest. This piece is a lingerie chest with a beveled mirror(excellent condition) top with heavily carved crest and framework with pierced carved supports. Rather an overall organic motif with an Eastlake influence. Base has 4 deep drawers with a hinged locking panel(no key) along the right side. A very fine antique. Circa 1890's, carved and burled walnut marble top dresser with attached mirror frame and beveled mirror. Two piece construction. The case has three short drawers over two long drawers, with the original brass pulls. The drawer interiors are maple. Light burl walnut veneers across the drawers. The sides have a recessed panel. A finely mottled brown and white beveled marble slab is on top. The mirror frame is supported with a frame of deep carved classical cornice having acanthus, drapped swag, and serpentine ribbon. The mirror frame support measures 4'9" 57" tall by 3'7" 43" wide by 3" deep, the mirror glass 29" by 27-1/2" The dresser measures 3'8" 44" wide by 2'4" 28" tall by 20" deep. These pieces feature Renaissance Revival/ Rococo elements including serpentine ribbed"carpenter's lace" on the edges and around the dresser's tilt mirror. They have applied hand carved drawer pulls. Escutcheons and other decorative elements in a leaf and flower design. The corners and edges are rounded. And the casings around the drawers and most edges are curved and double or triple ribbed. A very nice antique. Circa 1870's, Renaissance Revival over mantel mirror. It is in carved walnut with elaborate crest having a carved lady figurehead and drape with tassels. There are decorative raised panels with rosewood veneers, and incised line designs gilted in. There are two later holes drilled in the upper frame where it would be bolted to the wall. The crest is missing the finial carving on top of the flat top. As presented it measures 6'11" 83" tall By 5'2" 62" wide by 9" deep at lady head. The mirror measures 55-1/2" tall 46-1/2" wide. Very good condition: original unworn finish to walnut and rosewood. Gilt incised lines mostly filled. Minor crack to frame upper right. All rosewood without chipping. ANTIQUE FRENCH HEAVY CARVED WALNUT DRESSING TABLE DRESSER DRAWERS BEVELED MIRROR
Here is an absolutely gorgeous antique heavy carved French walnut dressing table with chest of drawers. Five beveled mirrors including two side dressing mirrors which are adjustable, beautiful heavy carved finials above the three larger mirrors which clearly distinguish it as French and mirror back candle stands 16 1/2 inches above the lovely top surface on the dresser. The drawers on this lovely dressing table are dovetailed and have gorgeous burl walnut veneer decorative fronts and fabulous original metal drawer pulls. I've included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design, quality, condition and construction as well as the overall beauty and desirability of this absolutely delightful late 19th to early 20th century dressing table. This terrific dressing table stands 74 3/4 inches tall to the top the ... morethe carved finial on the central large mirror and measures 42 inches wide and 18 inches deep front to back at the widest points of the dresser. there are a total of five drawers including a small drawer just below the large mirror above the dresser top surface. Below are two top drawers. Each 16 1/2 inches wide by 15 1/4 inches front to back by 4 inches deep. Below these two top side by side drawers are two large drawers, each 35 inches wide by 15 1/2 inches front to back and 6 and 6 1/2 inches deep respectively, in descending order. The large center mirror with the carved frame around it is 39 3/4 inches tall by 18 1/2 inches wide with the beveled mirror within measuring 27 3/4 inches by 15 1/2 inches at it's widest points. The two hanging side mirrors and their carved frames each measure 36 inches tall and 12 1/4 inch wide with their beveled mirrors measuring 29 3/4 tall 9 1/2 inches wide at their widest points. Antique Dresser, Hand-carved Walnut &Leaf Pulls, Price greatly reduced!
Will ship if you make arrangements. This dresser was handmade in the Midwest during the Civil War period. Likely before 1860. The back of the dresser shows it belonged to Henry Wims(Williams) An ex-slave according to the News-Palladium from Benton Harbor Michigan(Saturday, April 1, 1950(pg.9) Henry came up to Benton Harbor from Kentucky through Indiana in 1882. When he was a young man, about 20 years of age. He had been to Louisville where the cars stopped and where there was a great concentration of Union soldiers during the Civil war and decided to follow the railroad north and see where the tracks joined the"Underground railway" that he had heard so much about. Also, his wife's father lived at St. Joseph, where there were many ex-slaves and their descendants. His travels brought him to Benton Harbor. The solid walnut dresser ... morehas hand-carved walnut and leaf pulls. Hand-dovetailed drawers and square nails show expert craftsmanship. Finish is excellent with warm antique patina. There are minor stains and likely some wax drippings of candles on the top; missing and broken trim on the bottom left; broken side edge at the back right of the dresser. see photos) Size of this classic American furniture is 40"wide. 17 3/4" deep, and 39" tall.
