At some point, a metal plate was soldered to the stem on the underside of the seat for stability, so I can't see the manufacturer information on the original iron attachment and the height is non-adjustable. That said, the stool is otherwise solid and functional and looks fantastic if you like the dark, lived-in gothic look.
