Both pieces have been refinished, but missing veneer work was not done, so, as you can see in pics 4& 8 there is slight edge veneer loss at the front side corners. In pic 5 you can barely see that the veneer has been re-glued. There are a few nicks here and there, and there are hardware circles around a couple of the drawer pulls, where the handles have been rotated and made a circle in the wood around. The hardware, as well as the design, makes this piece much more eye catching, with steel pulls and horizontal rosewood tips on each pull. This piece measures 54" x 32" x 18" deep. I am unsure of its actual age, or manufacture. It has three drawers, all quite large, and a detachable etched mirror with a wooden back. The mirror is loose from the wooden backing but could be reattached easily with some mirror hooks. The chest of drawers has a gorgeous multi-directional veneer finish that gives it an amazing, gorgeous appeal, and it has the original brass hardware. The posts that would attach the mirror to the chest are missing, but again, easily replaced. The drawers have dovetail joints. There is some small veneer loss on the feet of the piece.

Two smaller locking drawers are aligned over four larged drawers. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in very good condition. There are some drip marks along the top edge of the mirror(from glue or wood finish, see picture) but no cracks or other damage. The wood has some wear associated with age, including chips and minor breakage to the veneers or inlay. See pictures. There is also a chip out of the left side finial and the right top drawer is missing its lock. The wood is cracked around the lock hole on the inside of the drawer. The wheels of the casters do no turn easily and probably need to be oiled. No other breaks or repairs. The dresser stands 70 1/4" tall and is 40" wide and 21" deep.
