Is in excellent condition with Beautiful Hand Painted porcelain panels for the seat and back. Please note that any white marks you see on the hand painted porcelain is simply reflection of light- there is no damaged. Chipped, scratched or missing paint. I believe this is made from rosewood and the back center is ornately carved with a pierced floral motif. The sofa measures 72" in length from the outer arms. The center has a depth of 22" and the corner ends have a depth of 23" The arms have a height of 25.5" at the front and at the rounded corners the height is 29.5" The height at the center back is 37 1/8" The seat has a height of 19.5" The silk brocade upholstery is a beautiful light and deep rose colored combination with cream accents. This is a floral pattern and is absolutely stunning. There is an area on the arms with soiling from use and overall it could use a light cleaning. But still looks very vibrant. Refinished Antique Oak Recycled Leather Fainting Couch Chaise Lounge Sofa - Nice
Restored antique Victorian style fainting couch with matte black recycled leather upholstery and matching pillow. Oak base with castors and a matte scale recycled leather covering that is plush. Durable and comfortable secured with round head tacks. Fantastic old look. This is a very old couch(not sure of the age- but you can see the styling) and I have much more money into the restoration than what I am asking for the couch. I just don't have the room and have never used it. It needs to go to a good home. MUST SELL! Measurements are approximately 79" L) X 30" H) X 30" W) This couch underwent a complete restoration a few years ago. The old upholstery was removed and redone- the wood frame was refinished and stained. Condition is very good overall with only minor imperfections in the leather(rub marks from moving around ... moreand some"catch" areas) and the oak has a few rub marks and cracks in the legs- but all consistent with age. No rips or tears and the upholstery is beautiful. All wood is original and was recently stained upon restoration. Castors were added. The original upholstery was in bad condition so I was able to save this piece by completely restoring it. Recycled leather is in perfect condition as this couch has not been used at all and stored in a nonsmoking environment. Wonderful antique furniture piece that is suited for everyday use. The sofa rests over a beautiful draped apron and five flawlessly formed cabriole legs, each terminating in scrolled french toes. first let me say. These are the very worse pictures i think i have ever taken. nothing shows the way it should. i had to get this out of storage, the roof blew off. anyway, i have had it recovered and it got wet so i had it refinished. anyway, it is a very rare piece to say the least. this is a period rosewood piece most likely done by belter. it is rosewood, had a pierced carved crest and had carving on the bottom of the slightly serpentine front. the sides are serpentine and the legs are identical front and back with carvings at the top and bottom which show terribly. demi sofas don't come along very often and they are usually empire. this is a rococco piece and very well done. it was made in 1860. it does not have casters at the present but the legs are drilled for small casters which i probably have some around somewhere if the new ... moreowner would like me to throw some in. they were made to sit in front of a bed i think. i guess that would be up to whoever owned it. these are not love seats, not many were made and i think i paid maybe 1600 for this years ago. again, you will not find another one listed on ebay i don't think, nor do i think you will find one for sale anywhere that is a rococco piece. i don't know how many carved buttons it has, but a bunch that go around the entire back of the piece. at any rate, i am starting it for about what i paid and have been out the expense of recovering it etc. it can be picked up at my home or it can be shipped at the buyers expense. i can help arrange for shipment should that be of benefit to anyone. good luck.

Exquisite Piece Was my mom's. She purchased it as an antique about 50 years ago It was sent to a very very bad man to have upholstered. And he stripped the fabric off only(Montclair, NJ) and kept her deposit. Anyway this is the real deal in antique sofa's. It has original horsehair stitching. Springs were updated in the 60's I believe. The wood work is in good shape. Has some normal wear from age, it just needs some TLC. The sofa is 6 feet from arm to arm, exterior measurement(about a 5 ft inside) it stands 32 inches high and about 33 inches deep. Also the rear back right leg was repaired at the joint where it meets the frame by a professional recently. The springs were redone in the 60-70's I think when my mom bought it. She paid $1200 then. This is a fine Chinese chippendale camelback sofa circa 1880-1920. It is upholstered in a beautiful red fabric. The fabric was on the sofa when I bought it so it is not freshly upholstered but is in very good condition. The wood trim is a nice dark rich finish. The trim has a few nicks from age but is structurally sound and tight. The straight leg frame has nice carving detail. The sofa is a good size. It measures 60" wide at the feet. 66" wide at the back, and 68" wide at the arms. It stands 38 1/2" high at the camelback. The sofa is 25" deep overall and the sitting area is 20" deep. for auction is a very high quality pierced carved walnut sofa. it is a large one being 73 inches wide at the widest point. 43 inches tall, 16 inches to the top of the sitting surface, with a sitting surface 22 inches deep. again a very high quality, very well carved piece. the roses are wonderful as well as the grapes and other carved details. my pictures as usual are very poor quality and do not show the detail of the carvings, but they are quite well done. i am not sure of the maker, possibly belter, but there were many great cabinet makers in the 1850's to 1880's. the sofa is museum quality, near mint condition. no damages i can see or find, very solid and sturdy. it belonged to an elderly lady who was moving in with her daughter. i bought it nearly 15 years ago. she said the sofa had always been in their family, stating that it ... morebelonged to her grandparents and that it was old when she was a child. i expect it was made circa 1860 or 70. it has the original brass casters and rolls like a wagon. the elderly woman had it recovered about 5 years before i bought it, so the fabric is about 20 years old but is actually new. the fabric is perfect as far as i can tell. also, this sofa is the most comfortable antique sofa i have ever sat upon. i have never been fond of the fabric and have thought of having it recovered, but since i have 15 or 20 sofas, i really did not find it necessary to do that and i have just lived with the fabric that is on it. i hope someone sees it that likes this fabric. the wood work need cleaned and polished as i have done nothing with it since i bought it and i will be glad to do that for the new owner if they would like for me to do so. i stuck it in front of the fireplace to take pictures, but will have to move it back into a room that is just stuffed full of things anyway, a beautiful piece, but i don't need it. i paid 2500 for it when i bought it, but i am starting it at 2000. it may be picked up at my home or shpped at the buyer's expense. i expect shipping anywhere is th

Federal Style Mahogany Camel Back Upholstered Settee Circa the First Quarter of the 20th Century With a soft serpentine curvature along the crest into the arms. This petite window bench has wonderful form. The arms scroll outward and into the seat frame, the entire frame covered in a striped upholstery, which stuffs over the frame of the seat. The sofa rests over two tapered and molded front legs, each of solid carved mahogany- the back legs are slightly backswept, tapering in a plain leg. This is a gorgeous designer piece. Dimensionally perfect for a window bench, a small settee in front of the master bed, as a seating implement in a smaller room or study. Vintage Scandinavian sofa. Attributed to Folke Ohlsson for Dux. Heavy cotton upholstery in soft tones of white, grey, lavender and cream. Curved back and exposed wooden frame make this sofa a perfect example of mid century Danish design. In very good vintage condition. With light wear due to age. Some scuffing to the wooden feet, as pictured. Fabric has some small snags and three or four droplet-sized stains, but none noticeable. A typical example is pictured. Cushions are upholstered on both sides, with neither side showing uneven wear. The rear cushion springs on the right side have softened in comparison to the left, but it is not noticeable visually. Crafted in the Louis XVI taste during the first quarter of the 20th Century is a classic example of the very successful design. Of diminutive proportions. It is more of an oversized bergere arm chair than a true loveseat. The width ideal for lounging casually with a good book in a comfortable setting. The crest is a perfect arch, sharply angled at each corner to form the squared back- this balance of tight lines with soft flowing form was a difficult harmony to achieve, conforming to the clean form important to Neoclassical designs while still being warm and inviting. This piece captures it perfectly, the arched crest mirrored in the projecting bowed apron and the soft cyma-curve ... moreof the arms and arm supports. These details giving shape and depth to an otherwise austere adherence to the square. Crisp carved details bring elegance to specific elements of this fine sofa: the acanthus carved arm supports or reeded and curled handholds. The fine deep molding of the frame with gilt highlights over a mellow green ground, and the deep rosette carvings on each knee. The arms are fully upholstered, these flanking a deep and incredibly comfortable down-stuffed cushion, creating ultimate support and sleepy comfort in the overall loveseat design. The floral velvet material and cushions are in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The frame is in STRUCTURALLY EXCELLENT CONDITION and there are minor finish blemishes on the wooden arms and legs that could use touching up. The frame was made in the early 20th century. This sofa been in my childhood home since it was upholstered by my late father. An artisan upholsterer from Hungary, in the late 1960s. My father made this piece and a matching sitting chair for our living room. The sitting chair is in a separate listing. This was a one of my parents' collectible furniture pieces. Vintage Antique 1920's Era White Wicker Chaise Lounge Sofa Couch Chic and Shabby
This is a very nice vintage white wicker chaise lounge. It is very well constructed. With springs and a bottom cushion. It had a back cushion but I washed it and it didn't make it! It is hard to measure due to the shape, but measures approximately 63" in length from the top to the bottom edge of the cushion. 38" from the floor to the top of the back, and 24" across at the foot base. Please ask for specific items to be measured and I will do my best. Some of the brackets underneath are loose and need to be tightened. There is one spot on the front bottom that needs to be repaired where some of the wicker is broke(see pic) I think a bit of glue will fix this problem. Naturally there are signs of wear for it's age. One sofa has different legs than the others. The shape, style, fabric, and nail heads are all the same as the other three pieces however the legs are a Queen Ann style instead of a Claw and Ball style like the other three. We are unsure why they do not match since they are identical sofas other than the legs. The tufting is in very good condition and are still very tight. The fabric is in overall good condition with no stains and only a few minimal raw areas on a few corners. The arm rests show very little wear in the velvet however there are a few blemishes here and there on the backs of the furniture. There are no tears in the fabric and the base cushions still have a solid shape and there is no sagging in the support. There are gentle scratches on the wood legs. The pictures were taken outside in natural light. No camera flash was used. The brilliant red you see in some pictures is natural sunlight on the furniture's fabric. The darker red tones are the same couches however in the shade. All 4 pieces are upholstered in the same fabric and are all the same tone when places in the same lighting.
