The suite boasts a lovely curved shape from the back into the sweeping scroll arms. The couch features central mahogany shaped splat and at the corners of the couch and armchairs are protruding ears. The base of the suite descends into decorative ball and lion claw carved feet at the front and sabre legs to the rear. The suite is fitted with removable gold and cream damask feather cushions that are all in excellent condition. Cream rope braiding finishes off the upholstery around the frame of the suite. The suite features a sprung base below. The suite seats up to five people comfortably. This is a very comfortable suite due to the deep design of the frame. American HandMade Late 1920's Sofa. Olive Green. 2 Sections. Long! Beautiful!!!
You re bidding on a late 1920's Sofa. It was made in Arkansas as the tag on the bottom of the sofa states. It is in two sections that are each about four and a half feet long. Making the whole couch about 9 feet. There is a fair amount of markings on the wood. It is missing the little knobs on the tip of the frame. I shot a detailed shot to show it. They are easily replaced. The sofa came to me with reupholstered seat cushions and be throw pillows to match. The seat backs are original as ate the cylindrical pillows. The hand crafting on this item is amazing. True craftsmanship from a golden era of American building. There are no stains on the cushions. Some other work there is a piece of ply wood that was added to the underside of one side to support the springs underneath the seat cushion. It's virtually unnoticeable. I shot a detail ... moreof the side of the couch to show the side of the ply wood. For a couch of this age it is an incredible vintage piece. Ok with selling to a furniture reseller here in Brooklyn. this is a vintage 1970's sofa created by Preview. i do not know who designed for preview but this is a very mod design in the style of vladimir kagan.Pierre paulin etc. the 5 pcs can be placed in various configurations and the 2 armless pcs make wonderful slipper or club chairs. the sofa is in a suede fabric that is faded quite uniformly. it is very useable as is with no tears. it has a soft worn suede look and feel. the dimensions are 2-corner pcs 34 x 34, 1-ottoman is 32x32, 2-armless pcs are 34 x 32. this is a comfortable,sleek and versatile piece of furniture of the highest quality. thanks for looking.

Le Corbusier LC2 Sofa and chair made by Cassina in SUEDE!!! knoll kjaerholm
You are bidding on a Le Corbusier LC2. Two seat sofa and chair. These are authentic Cassina pieces. They were a special order for an architecture firm. They have real sage green suede on them. This is not the cheap ultra suede. This is real leather. Overall they are in great shape. Frames are solid. Both pieces are engraved under the left arm with Corbusier's signature and serial number. Also under the seat the black decking is embossed with the Cassina logo(see pic) The only thing I noticed on them was two faint pen marks on the chair. You don't notice them unless you get real close! I researched how to clean real suede online and it said don't use any chemicals at all. It suggested sanding them lightly with sandpaper. I will leave that up to the new owner should they decide to do it. But like I said it is very faint and not ... morereally noticeable.
